After about all my life coping with adhd in all sorts of half-functional ways, I’m now in the process of medicating it professionally with a doctor and Ritalin. Still two months till it starts. But I wonder if my personality might shift to much in all sorts of ways. For example I fear that I would settle in life for some boring dry version of my life purpose just because there is more dopamine in my system. Eventually regretting the therapy after I might end it sometime. I’m curious who on here has done medicated adhd therapy, and how your psyche changed along that.

So I'm thinking a lot of about the pros and cons about social media. And while it definitely can be used in a healthy and inspiring way, I still wonder if we hit the end of social media invention and development. There is just a finite amount of things you can do on a smartphone and internet. Yet, I wonder what kind of and even IF social media has a right to exist for high developed humans. Because every form of "digital stuff" usually distracts and dampens the spirit of life. Makes us less sensible. We rarely think back and say "Wow, that day where I just scrolled 6 hours through X was such an amazing experience, I'll never forget." Usually we can't even remember anything we saw and did on media. So what could be features / ideas / approaches / ect. of media that would meaningfully align with a higher forms of consciousness? For example I envision a way to spread and show deep and meaningful content over brain-rotted slop (99% of all media). Which is not popular, but high consciousness is not popular in general. Can we ever breach the barrier that online connections will never feel as meaningful as real life encounters? How can we deal with sex, free speech and controversy in a more conscious way? I hope for discussion here.

What 3 courses of study would you add to classic university curricula if your were to decide on that? Maybe Crocodilism = study of survival dynamics Ratism = study of human „ratishness“. Kangarooism = study of infinity ??

Some ideas: - Instead of plain follower counts, make a visible "family tree" or "tribe tree" that shows the connections between you and your followers. -> Who invited whom, who knows whom through whom ect. - members of a high conscious social media platform can only post and share if they were actively invited before. make it grow naturally and socially connected. - if someone misbehaves the one who invited him/her gets also punished. -> establish a sense of responsibility online. - somehow measure the "value" of any given content. And recommend/spread content that has more intelligence in it. - incorporate natural sounds, colors, designs, wise quotes and instances to invite people to close the app, make breaks here and there - maybe have a "emotional scale" that shows via some color code how well your relatives are doing, possible to strenghten contact to people who feel consecutively lonely, lost or unhappy. .. Just my first thoughts on this. I'll share more in the future.

I mean children and social circle are basically problems that never end, haha. So their neurology prompts them to become masterful at that. So actually direct truth would hurt more than it helps. God (women) is already at maximum efficiency and intelligence.

@Leo Gura Do you have advice for nihilistic spoiled sugar-daddied rich rats? Because the truth is that they just can’t pretend like they are poor and have to be ultra survival minded. That would be a sour form of deception itself for them. How does one get out of that nihilistic life if survival isn’t really important? A set of challenge which is massively growing around the globe.

I want to make this topic because its not clear to me how male attractiveness is generally influenced by marks of physical injury. Given that a man is otherwise seen as attractive. I always had the impression that scars can be seen as hot. But when does the scale tip? Because even a missing arm for example isn't an excluding factor for masculinity, dominance, confidence, humour ect. I wouldn't be surprised if some women would even find it hot to date a otherwise healthy, stable man, who survived physical injury and proved himself resilient. Thats just a thought though. So whats the take on here?

Nobody said its ok. But you do grant the OG Nazis a ton of humanity by equating them with Elon and Trump. Its just the wrong word. Nobody believes you if you water it down that much. The Nazis killed and tortured thousands of political adversaries openly in the streets, even before they rose to power. Elon and Musk have not killed one person openly, although they 'could' now. General question @Leo Gura relating to your posts about others writings and podcasts ect.: Whats your general intention while reading and listening to the theories of others? Since your own theory of everything is so robustly equipped with logic and empiricism, whats the point? Isn't it like watching bodybuilding shows from the pre-steroid era?

You "think"? Whats the evidence for that? In general its extremely difficult to trace stuff like that back to super early stages of life. You would have to do research on thousands of babies and wait decades and see if they developed ADHD, for such a statement to be true.

Moderate ADHD = Solid routines, frequent physical activity, meditation time in the morning prior to anything other and social activities. High ADHD = Stimulants. They are by far superior to virtually every other treatment option for adults at the moment. They do carry some side-effects which you should keep in mind. Thats the domain for a real doctor though.
