Not really. And at least now it's obvious why they should have joined Nato earlier. And why they need to join it as fast as possible. Russia attacked them because they weren't in Nato.

Ukraine and Ukrainians wants to go west, to Nato, to EU, to democracy, to independence. To freedom and high standard of living. Like any intelligent person would want. My blood is Finnish but I live in Sweden. And your bias is that you live far away from Russia. So you don't have to care that much about Russia. Which obviously leads to less seriousness and knowledge about it.

In Finland we have a saying: "the russian takes everything which is loose." Crimea was obviously loose, so Russia took it. The west didn't care. So the russian continued, it thought that entire Ukraine is loose, so it tried to steal it. Russia was wrong this time. Russia doesn't see Nato as a threat in the sense that Nato will take Russia. Russia only sees Nato as glue which makes things impossible to steal. If a thief tells you: "don't put glue on that thing, because then I can't steal it.", would you obey the thief? No, you would put even more glue on it and tell the thief to go fuck himself. But maybe you aren't like that. In that case: can you please leave your door unlocked so I can steal all your things. Thank you for your cooperation so I can steal all your things.

North Korea has started zero wars in modern times. But we all know that North Korea is evil anyway. Except you maybe. All you care about is some death numbers and amount of wars started. You don't comprehend the difference between good and bad. If US would start another war by declaring war against Russia and kill 2 million Russians (soldiers), then US would still have a heart of gold. Would actually have a even better heart then. It was also ok when US intentionally killed civilians in WW2, because it was what was needed to defend the good side.

USA kills only terrorists and other evil people. Yes there is some collateral damage but it's not possible to completely avoid it. Your drama seems to be to not get pulled into the drama. "every country on the planet will commit genocide if they get a chance." That's obviously not true. Projection maybe? USA and west has the heart in the right place. China, Russia, North Korea, Iran, India, etc. don't.

The stupid thing is that it's west who made/makes China great. Because we throw our money at them. Just stop sending your money to China. How hard can it be. So you like dictatorship? If we give Ukraine enough support so Russia gets completely defeated, then China wont attack Taiwan in the future. But west (especially US) needs to ramp up its support for Ukraine. Nonsense. Finland won over Soviet Union three times. With much less support from west. And Finland was/is much smaller than Ukraine. And Soviet Union was much more powerful than Russia. And Afghanistan won over Soviet Union without any help from west. Ukraine will win. Nonsense. Russia wont use any nukes. Russia knows that it would be the end of Russian Federation, and that Putin would get killed.

Some people can see clearly only after they have got attacked by evil and got their freedom taken away. For example getting militarily attacked and annexed. You seem to be such a person. My advise is to try to think proactively before bad things happen.

Exactly. People who think Ukraine shouldn't fight for its freedom, and people who don't want to help Ukraine in its fight for freedom, should be consistent and also say that US should never have fought for its freedom.
