If US would start another war by declaring war against Russia and kill 2 million Russians (soldiers), then US would still have a heart of gold. Would actually have a even better heart then. USA kills only terrorists and other evil people. Yes there is some collateral damage but it's not possible to completely avoid it. Your drama seems to be to not get pulled into the drama. China, Russia, North Korea, Iran, India, etc. don't.
