  1. @NoSelfSelf lol being grounded yeah that's true, but also game requires learning through trial and error and developing skill, the not giving a fuck attitude is itself the result of developing social skills through approaching and getting rejected.
  2. was wondering if that was from the construct aware or the strategist stage « If we think of a spider as a creature that spins webs, we can think of humans as creatures that spin narratives about reality. That’s why people have such radically different worldviews in a certain sense, it’s because every worldview is constructed by the ego mind. Hinduism, christianity, islam, judaism, atheism, relativism, feminism, postmodernism, veganism, buddhism, agnosticism, communism, capitalism...All of it is pure fantasy and constructions that help us survive. It’s like constructing a car, it’s useful, but not real, i mean what is a car fundamentally, existentially, we don’t think of a car as what it actually is but of how it can help us survive, how it can serve us. That’s why ancient Egyptians could get away with believing in multiple gods and stuff. They were not crazy, they were just constructing something that helps them make sense of reality. And you’re doing the same thing with whatever ideology you’re subscribing to or whatever worldview you hold. » tell me what you think
  3. @Rasheed sahguru is a wise guy but you know don't take everything he says too seriously. if he says that you shouldn't have sex with many women doesn't mean you shouldn't.
  4. talking about horizontal development here: at stage blue, it is following the instructions of the holy book, and becoming a better muslim, hindu or chrisitan. maybe marriage and raising good kids. going to church and so forth. at stage orange, it will be more about career oriented goals and achievements, as well as maybe fitness and dating. at stage green, it will be more about exploring different states of consciousness, different perspectives, relationships and countries. as well as developing one's self internally, becoming more compassionate, developing one's passions, philosophy of life and living a more harmonious, balanced existence with the whole: ecological awareness, veganism, exercising... at stage yellow, integrating all that came before so that you can be a hippie without being broke. + taking responsibility for your sense-making, reading more books acquiring more knowledge, and being effective at systems thinking. + contribution to mankind through one's life's work. at stage turquoise, i haven't reached it yet so i do not know.
  5. @John Paul i mean yes that's true, but still relative to stage orange, stage green is kind of the first stage to start valuing diversity of perspectives, holism and balance for their own sake even though of course stage yellow is more adequate in general at doing this.
  6. @FlyingLotus why are some many videos on the forum inexistent ?
  7. @Tyler Robinson hey tyler, if you want to talk, i'm here
  8. @AndylizedAAY the key here is to keep masturbating. you can not expect yourself to at the same time get rid of bad habits and install healthy habits at once. keep masturbating but also mediate for 10 min a day, not necessarily in the morning whatever time during the day, meditate for 10 min. do not change your "unhealthy" habits for now, even though masturbation and some youtube entertainment does no harm if done in the right proportions, but add 10 min of meditation per day, after some time you would want to meditate more. but for now 10 min of meditation a day is doable if you do not have any health issues.
  9. @Leo Gura -more practical videos like the how to get laid series but about business and health -videos like "making sense of jordan peterson" but on other interesting figures or phenomenon in society, basically a "making sense of" series like for example making sense of women, the evolution of technology, climate change, incels, sadhguru, etc... -a second video on jordan peterson would be appreciated also thank you for your work
  10. Like what is the biology or brain chemistry or whatever that makes self discipline possible ? Do non-human animals have it too ? A lot of people attribute success and free will to discipline, but where does self-discipline comes from exactly in the body ?
  11. @Tyler Robinson what do you mean by a “well adjusted” brain? Is it a skill that you develop same thing as getting good with women for example ?
  12. @Leo Gura would you consider him to be wise ? personally i would say that relative to a daniel schmachtenberger or a ken wilber, he is not. but he certainly is wise relative to a regular conservative who's at stage blue/orange. but overall according to my standard (which is fairly high) i would say no. what do you think ?
  13. @Leo Gura that's why i think peterson is cognitively at integral even though he has a lot of regressive elements. he's really a unique teacher, combining religion and science and postmodernism, etc... he is like a low quality version of leo gura
  14. @Carl-Richard dude i literally said "one hour a day" is meditating one hour a day for years a waste of time or not ?
  15. @Leo Gura so do you advise people to keep meditating for one hour a day or do you think it's a waste of time ?
  16. @Raptorsin7 damn, i'm living in a stage red ghetto
  17. i'm still very young, 19 years old, living with my parents. i did 1000 approaches this year without being able to fuck girls because of bad logistics although i made out with a bunch. i don't have a car yet or a place of my own. should i forget about girls for the next few years and focus on my studies to get a job and then be able to have my own car and house to fuck girls there ? this sounds to me like the best option, i don't want to spend years bettering my game for no results because of bad logistics, my current game basically can get me laid right now if my logistics were optimal.
  18. @petar8p how would i go to their place without a car ? and no i mostly don't keep contact with them, because i was aslo struggling with some deficiencies because of a bad vegan diet that i started and so i was tired all the time etc...
  19. if you have watched the ego development theory, this is clearly a stereotype of the opportunist stage of ego development. lots of blaming, magical thinking to make sense of the world, physical words for non physical stuff... on the other hand you have compassion for this dude, his life was certainly not easy
  20. @Danioover9000 but still there's a very big difference (relatively speaking) between the pluralist for example and the strategist, when i was a pluralist i used to think that everybody should be vegan and that meat eaters are selfish and i used to debate and argue about it not understanding the relativity of my position. whereas when i became a strategist, i started taking way more factors into account, and started being more understanding of meat eaters and became way less judgemental about the whole thing, partly is because i myself realized that it was more difficult than what i thought to stay healthy on a vegan diet, but also just because you start taking more factors into account when you reach higher stages of development, you become more conscious, less ideological and dogmatic and more aware that the map is not the territory. the paragraph that i wrote in my previous comment, i wrote it yesterday and shared it today because i wasn't really sure if i was at the strategist or the construct aware stage. but yeah maybe i am somewhere in between the two
  21. @LiberatedMonkey just approach but ideally you would want to move out to a denser city in the future, but for now start in your city, see how it goes
