@something_else maybe you’re right, but look in of itself those guys who are talking to women and pulling girls, are doing pick up, that’s literally what pick up is, even though they may be not doing it deliberately

@Roy getting laid isn’t synonymous with the kind of results you get from doing pick up lol most guys don’t fuck dozens of women. Same thing with money, most people aren’t rich, this doesn’t mean they can’t pay the bills. Pick up is about having exceptional results relative to normal people. Look at some point you need to take responsibility for the different areas in your life and stop running on auto pilot

@Roy actually no, most guys like 90% suck with women in general, they have no game at all, even the most good looking males with muscles and stuff, they have no game. To develop game you need to approach thousands of women. Most guys in modern society are not socialized properly because the most natural thing in our environment is not to socialize but to stay home on the laptop. That’s not the exception, that’s the rule.

@DocWatts so ben shapiro would be at the expert stage as well as dennis prager. dennis prager for example emphasize the importance of rational thinking. whereas a typical conformist in my opinion would not. but i might be wrong. by the way for a conservative, the opportunist might look liberal lmaoo where do you think the opportunist, spiral dynamics stage red, would fit politically ? or is it too instinctive to even care about modern politics ? and i think a lot of stage blue people might confuse stage orange and green for red, since blue is a reaction to red. same way green might confuse turquoise for green. or orange might confuse turquoise for green or blue and yellow for orange.

@julienw truth but what's your alternative anyways ? i can't go about my life without having a long term plan, and i don't want to expect the bare minimum from myself, just have money to pay the bills and nothing else. so my plan is to first do programming to earn decent money, living conditions and independence, then putting the work in to break free from it through my creative original work. will it take 10 years ? yes but remember even for leo it took him a decade to align his life with actualized.org successfully. so yeah life requires you to be very resourceful. but the big thing is that each time you're solving your problems and getting closer to your ultimate life. after i get my programming job i will have freedom from my parents, money to do pick up and bang as many women as i wish, money to finance my creative endeavors and so forth... it's so fucking appealing

@Leo Gura alright then i guess, like you said, i would have to teach myself business and marketing as well as music making. man life is so inspiring, you can accomplish a lot by taking full responsibility for your life. thanks for your wisdom anyways

@Leo Gura alright so i guess i should develop my skills as a musician, like i want to be a rapper, make music, so i will develop that skill set, beatmaking, writing lyrics, sound engineering,etc... and then after 3 to 5 years i’ll be signed to a record label in france, cuz i want rap in french ideally. the only problem is that in lebanon if i’m gonna be getting a little job just to buy the equipment to make music, sort of the studio and softwares, etc... it will take me like a year since in lebanon we’re paid 100-200$ a month for work without degree, and if i need a new laptop, i need to work for an extra 7 months, and if i need a course on business or marketing, i’ll need to work for months. And i can’t be asking my parents for anything since we’re living in survival mode. And if i want to make a music video i need also some money. That’s why it isn’t very practical for me to not enroll in university and quit the country through that. My plan would be to go study in france finish a programming degree, like 4 years, then i would have both the money and the right location to then be able to work on my creative projects. I want to have this peace of mind that i have a solid stable income and not being reliant on my parents before i start working on my true life purpose. Just to have enough money to buy the life purpose course and the book list, i need to work for 2 months. Or i can probably develop a marketable skill that i can learn in a few months, and start making money through that in lebanon to finance my creative projects and education (courses,etc...) but i’m not sure how much i’ll be paid for that. And i don’t know how do it yet but i can probably learn. The advantage of staying with my parents is that i have free food and shelter, but nothing else no money for pick up or dating, no car, no money to finance my creative projects... So yeah i’m kind of in this dilemma right now of what i should do, i know i’m gonna accomplish my goal in the long term, just the means can differ, but both will lead to the same conclusion.

@blueberries the thing is, i'm starting out in a 3rd world (lebanon) country and the easiest way to get out of it is to continue my studies in a first world country, can i quit my country to a better country if i learn a marketable skill like the ones you've listed above ?

@julienw yeah i mean depending on your financial situation, you can afford the luxury to not care about money. but personally i won't be investing thousands of hours learning a skill that i love if it's not going to impact people in some meaningful way. i care about my life's work and impact on the world more than just the pleasure of practice, i want to be valuable and useful to mankind in my own creative way.

@Leo Gura i mean i can hypothetically do engineering or programming at university and getting a good job. the problem is i won't be passionate about it and it's going to cost me in the long run. but if i'm going to pursue my passion let's say making music, i want it to work, i don't want be the broke artist with no money. i guess i should learn business, marketing and sales and take the life purpose course to figure it out.

I was just watching the video about understanding the conservative mind and i thought that a video on understanding the pick up mind (or the player mind, or the pick up artist mind) would be extremely interesting.

@tuckerwphotography tricky because the conservative mind is black and white for the most part, whereas higher ego development entangles more blurring of boundaries and relativity. i think jordan peterson is a conservative by temperament and brain chemistry and maybe environment and age. liberals have in general higher ego development because higher ego development equals more open mindedness in general or at least the capability of being open minded without being scared. but yeah i would like to see someone from the strategist stage being a conservative other than jordan peterson.

i want make this thread a catalogue of videos containing the widest variety of radically different perspectives possible. conservative, racist, criminal but also progressive, liberal, atheistic, theistic, sage like perspectives. it would be appreciated if you could indicate the level of spiral development and maturity from which the perspective is coming from. as well as it level of ego development. or one of the two. here you go, let's play !

@NoSelfSelf dude all of the theory has been derived from the field. you're going at it backwards. to be able to build character and become free you need massive practice, no amount of theory will give you that. reading books about enlightenment, although important, won't make you enlightened. plus, you should not demonize pleasure. pleasure is a good thing as long as your whole life is not built around it.

@NoSelfSelf success with women means attracting a lot of women, making out with 10 women in one night, being able to pull girls from the club.... it is good that you care about the theory, but ultimately the real results come from approaching thousands of women. you do not need a lot of theory just the basics that leo covers in his three part series.
