  1. here are three psychopaths for you : gaddafi, idi amin and stalin.
  2. @Husseinisdoingfine i mean i don't understand what's the point, you don't need to work 100 hours a week to earn a living. 35 or 40 hours is enough
  3. @Leo Gura leo when are you gonna release the episode on how to distinguish good from bad character ? i've been thinking about it a lot and i think that ego development as well as spiral dynamics are a great way to help with that, basically anyone below orange is automatically a bad character, simply because below orange there's no notion of human rights and people tend to be very irrational. also have to take into account the dark tetrad: sadism, narcissism, psychopathy, Machiavellianism. sociopathy as well. also levels of education, wisdom and maturity count. how open minded is the person. also maslow's hierachy of needs can be helpful. is the person only interested in money and sex or is it spiritual, artistic and philosophical.
  4. If we think in terms of genetics, many people, a minority but a significant number of humans, are naturally born spiritual and contemplative. People who have mystical experiences without having done any spiritual practice. I remember my first mystical experiences and heart chakras connections, started without doing spiritual work, just by watching leo’s content. Now maybe let’s say 1 to 5% of the population is like that, are we an oppressed minority since spirituality isn’t taught in our culture as a scientific field, and we’re not taught about it unless we do independent research. Plus when people have spiritual talents they generally tend to not have many opportunities in terms of traditional jobs, and also spiritual people aren’t very effective under the current capitalist system that promotes careers as a means to an end and not the end in itself. A lot of spiritual people might want to not work, just because they’re concerned with other stuff. In a sense society is designed for materialistic people, we have a materialistic normative society. And people with spiritual talents are excluded and not even acknowledged as legitimately different and deserving of special consideration. Consider what i’m saying as for the heterosexuality, homosexuality dichotomy. It’s like materialistic people are analogically the heterosexual people oppressing and not acknowledging the validity of the homosexual minority, in this case spiritual people. Should we have a sort of life orientation guidance, in the sense that the same way we teach sexual orientation, we should teach life orientation whether it’s materialistic or spiritual and create a society where both these categories even though different have equal empathy and place, same way with men and women for example, different but equally deserving of empathy and place in society, and not having the men, patriarchy, oppressing women, misogyny. Maybe we should have a similar name for our materialistic society, same way as patriarchy in the case of the genders, but for the life orientations, something like materialarchy.
  5. @Leo Gura consciousness is fascinating
  6. @Leo Gura can you through consciousness penetrate totally into the consciousness of a dog and see how it's like to live from the mind of a dog ?
  7. leo when you talk about alien consciousness. are you talking about the consciousness of an actual alien, like becoming conscious of an alien's perspective ?
  8. @Princess Arabia the one you've never tasted before
  9. @Leo Gura i haven't studied evolution that much or the categories and species of animals. but basically we can be attracted to animals otherwise i wouldn't be.
  10. @Schizophonia i mean technically when you're being attracted to girls you're being attracted to monkeys. what do you think you're doing stupid. it's your speciesist mindset to say that we can't be attracted to monkeys from other species. that's like saying a white man can't be attracted to a black woman/man.
  11. @Vibes how can you guys not be attracted by this, god
  12. @Leo Gura alright i ain't straight. however once i masturbated looking at a picture of a monkey and i enjoyed it. what does that mean ?
  13. My cousin is an interesting figure psychologically. First he’s a hardcore capitalist. Second he’s a creationist, doesn’t believe in evolution. He’s a muslim as was the family he was raised in. I asked him once about slavery, he said that slavery was normal and it’s still practiced with football players for examples. That slave masters had slaves so that they can give them shelter and food, something along these lines. Asked him once about animals rights and veganism, he said that he doesn’t give a fuck about animals. He’s a workaholic, and love business, passive income, crypto, technology... and my father was talking to him once about me and he told him to kick me out of the house so that i remain on the streets so that i can appreciate how important money is or something like that. he grew up in lebanon, but immigrated to the us. He says often that america is the best country in the world. But once recently he said that he wanted to live in lebanon or a muslim country because that’s where he came from. And he’s overweight/addicted to food. He’s in his 20s and he has a girlfriend but is maybe, not sure, virgin, because waiting until marriage. In my analysis he’s at stage blue/orange, he’s a fool, and he’s borderline psychopathic. Will love to hear your analyses.
  14. after having studied leo's episodes on the conservative and the liberal minds as well as his episode on wisdom. i found that the liberal mind corresponded more to the description of the wise mind whereas the conservative mind was more leaning towards the foolish mind. similarities between the liberal and the wise mind include: high emotional intelligence. greater cognitive complexity and capacity for nuance. greater ability for self reflection. value for education and intellectuality. great capacity for open mindedness. humanism and selflessness... similarities between the conservative and the foolish mind: the opposite of the above list.
  15. @Leo Gura where can i find more information on this ? the fact that people who do good get away with bad
  16. so i've asked my aunt if she wanted to sleep with me. she obviously said "no, i'm your aunt" lol. but anyways do you think i should tell my parents about it or just leave it under the rug ?
  17. @Danioover9000 i just don't understand why people don't have sex with their family members, actually in many cultures they do, it's just a western social norm. it's like people in afghanistan being homophobic. it's so relative
  18. hey leo, i wanted to ask you how do you justify murdering thousands of animals in your lifetime by eating a carnivore diet. i know you have health issues but still why would one life be worth more than that of thousands of animals, if you were forced to rape thousands of women in your lifetime and you knew it was going to hurt them, but you had to do it for survival, would you do it or would you choose to kill yourself ? i'm not guilting you just trying to genuinely understand how can one justify that. i myself eat meat because of necessity due to my current conditions.
  19. @Leo Gura isn’t this a double standard ?
  20. @Leo Gura do you think it is possible for adults to have sex with children consensually ?
  21. how do we know that jesus, mohammed, moses... were mystics ?
  22. if you've watched the video leo shared, which stage of spiral dynamics are they at ?
