Religion grounds people's sanity. That's why it's so prominent throughout the world. Deconstructing religion feels like losing one's sanity and mind.

I meant to interpret the word "faith" the way religious people use it, in a higher way. I get your point though, but for most people truth isn't their priority, they need some sort of structure or system that grounds their lives and from which they can reap benefits like having a community, etc... You're not going to change the level of maturity, development, and wisdom of most people. So, i was sort of speaking to them.

Religion is a narrative of an artistic nature enunciated throughout generations. The way to choose a religin isn't by the fact of it being true, since all religions are invented stories and artistic narratives, but by the quality of the invention being narrated. That's what faith is! You have faith in the beauty and quality of the story being narrated that is the religion.

Most people subscribe to a self made paradigm of how success work, where you earn your success by working hard and suffering, the more you suffer, the more success you deserve. @Natasha Tori Maru Yes, i had a relationship with a somewhat mature person as a friendship, but like it's extremely rare to find mature people. Most people are either brainwashed with religion, science, or they're money whores, or drug addicts, etc... At my level of mind, it's rare to find people i can relate to.

I was thinking and contemplating this issue and i realized that career and work takes hours and hours each day. If you aren't passionate or have some affinity with your work it can get really risky. The trap many people fall into is finishing high school young and dumb then entering university, choosing a major just because it pays well. This is more dangerous than trying crack. When you're naive you think that's a good strategy, but upon contemplation, you realize that as a human being if your career isn't fulfilling you, you'll fall prey to all sorts of traps which end up hurting you in your search of happiness and fulfillment. Think of happiness as a spectrum, happiness on one end, and suicidal depression on the other, and in between all sorts of dysfunctions and pathologies and addictions and so on... Happiness and fulfillment aren't optional in life. They are fundamental to your well being and not falling into self destructive behaviors. And it is simply impossible to be happy working a career you hate and isn't motivated by and not passionate about.

If you're God and you're not a human, and you're the only one in existence then there aren't other sentient beings including animals. Therefore veganism gets debunked. I've struggled with veganism for a long time, i was a vegan, then i stopped then i realized solipsism and awakening which put an end to veganism in my mind.

If reality is a hallucination, then whatever you consciously hallucinate becomes your reality. We can think of it even in this way, reality is infinite, hence infinite possibilities, if you focus your mind and pay attention to that which gives you opportunities to actualize your vision, you'll end up actualizing your vision. We can call it the law of focus. Whatever you focus on, you end up achieving. Your psychology, self-esteem, inner mindset,etc... are the primary factor in determining your success. Therefore yes, believing in yourself has always proven to work, and is a prerequisite for success.

Skip to the beyond postmodernism segment. I found his talk about the raving homeless madman really profound. I started contemplating and realized how my understanding of these people was terribly distorted because of my biases, assumptions, hear say and conformist thinking. I realized these people are conscious of God and are in heaven. They are enlightened sages, who have realized that life was a joke, hence they live and act the way they do. Contemplate: what is the inner experience/consciousness of these people like ?

@Leo Gura Also substance abuse is common, which is quite interesting from a metaphysical standpoint as these substances can create higher consciousness experiences. It's definitely a complex topic, but like the way society treats it with the stigma is completely uncalibrated.
