The project of me requires should and shouldn’t. The project of me requires trauma. The project of me is heavy because it’s not easy to „do“ life, clinging to everything with a sure death at the end and death of all loved ones. The project of me requires confirmation. The project of me requires knowing what is and what could be. The project of me is a story. Knowledge is very important in the project of me. The project of me is in relationship with everything and everyone else and is in relation and comparison with other. Me is a project and a process. But in this immediacy, is there the project of me? In this direct immediacy it’s seemingly nowhere to be found.

You know i find it interesting. I live in a European rich country. But imo the culture isn’t extremely consumerist. My city and neighbourhood are quite lefty. And there are a lot of hippie types who don’t care at all about flaunting money or anything. Everything is quite understatement. Although also more and more people buy Suvs which is crap and they probably have small ding dongs. But i see many tourists from asian and arab countries and imo chinese, russian and arabs are often extremely about consumerism and flaunting wealth. I’ve also seen videos about chinese marriage markets where all they care about was mobey. Many Americans also love to flaunt wealth imo. So what is the future of consumerism? I was watching this video which talks about consumerism, capitalism, communism, putinism and so on. And how the middle class and the workers got shaboynked in the 80s by moving away from caring about the workers to consumerism, reaganism/thatcherism.

You know the self or the seperate self or the ego always has this idea of getting somewhere. Of getting something someday. Of some day there will be “me” who is good or safe or happy or ok or better at least. This path. Could be healing traumas. Could be monetarily. Could be socially. Could be spiritual to get enlightenment. Could be knowledge. Could be helping others. It could be anything. But what if it’s an illusion. If there’s no goal even. All the goals are an illusion. If there’s nowhere to get to. Because there’s no one and no thing and no time. So what if this isn’t going anywhere. (But not “not going anwhere as a new goal) Full stop.

That’s true. Well because you always talk down on western and European countries. So i thought you can tell us how amazing your country and culture is.

Yea right now it’s hot. Like 32C and i‘m swimming in lakes and rivers every day a lot. It’s so beautiful. But also a lot doesn’t get done because summer is lazy. So autumn etc. are more productive. Yea the colour changes are too pretty. Winter can be a drag but then you know soon it’s spring. In summer it’s more lazy. Beach lakes rivers. Outside esting gelato. Women in bikini or some topless. Parties outside. Cafe freddo. Different vibe. But it wouldn’t be special if all year was like this.

I really do enjoy my four seasons too.

Or like a separate self Basically an Ego is seemingly bound by beliefs, thoughts, energetic pulls, traumas, defense mechanisms etc. we can’t really say it exists, it’s a construct, you could say it’s illusory. Same with ideologies and countries etc. we can’t say they exist or don’t exist. It’s a construct. With countries there are borders which are basically just lines, they can change and do. (For example if we look at Israel/Palestine) And then it’s a construct of ideas, beliefs, peoples, traumas etc. and it’s held together by law, armies, currency etc. There’s a lot of stuff like hypocrisy, confirmation bias, narcissism, cognitive dissonance in egos and countries and ideologies etc. The human and the let’s say country or ideology also have a shadow. And similarly the shadow is hard to confront. You could say woke ideology is part of the shadow of Western Society for example. But woke ideology itself also has a shadow which is hard to confront for itself. For example Germany seemingly was forced to confront its WW2, holocaust etc shadow. But in a way what they learned from it is to fully support the Jewish state no questions asked let’s say and not to be against any and every oppression. I feel like (and that’s just an opinion and maybe not true) countries and ideas like China, Russia, Islam etc. haven’t even really began to confront their shadow. While “some” western entities have done more but there’s also endless hypocrisy and defense mechanisms, cognitive dissonance and so on. Anyway it’s not deep stuff i’m just at the spa ranting.

But the ultra rich are so greedy that they probably just leave to Texas or Dubai when the taxes get higher.

I would say in Europe in many countries it’s comparatively quite well. I mean the human condition already is kind of suffery but it’s ok.
