  1. What do you mean by that? What kind of things are those? Just the looks?
  2. I am really worried about throwing up when drinking Ayahuasca. I’ve been told to eat lightly for 3 days before the ceremony - what does this exactly mean? What should I eat? Should I skip breakfast the day of? I hate hearing other people throw up too, and I hate throwing up myself. Throwing up in a group of people sounds horrible, I think this would make the experience absolutely terrible. Would I throw up if I eat nothing for 3 days? Is there any kind of food I could eat that would guarantee me not throwing up? The only reason I am interested in Ayahuasca in the first place is because I don’t know where to buy psychedelics.
  3. @Devin and women want stability and for men to invest. So how do you reconcile those two polarizing agendas? Don't you see the world is not black and white? Going from one extreme to the other is not wise?
  4. Multiple partners sexually? No. But (for the sake of this argument), multiple partners whom I am detached from and who buy expensive stuff for me? Yes.
  5. Most guys who have experience eventually want what women want. I think eventually one night stands/shallow relationships f*ck you up though.
  6. That is why I use worlds such as “could be” or “majority of”, these are just my observations, but they don’t hold 100% true in all the cases. It’s hard to say without knowing the whole story or what you’re referring to, but I am just giving angles. Also, many times what guys say they want doesn’t correspond to what they want. He could say he wants love to keep having consistent sex, for example. You can only know what the guy (or anyone really) actually wants with time and consistency in his behaviour.
  7. High consciousness doesn’t mean psychologically healthy still. Look at Teal Swan. But there are a lot of scenarios and it’s not a 100% one way or the other. I have observed many other more nuanced scenarios, but I rather not share them because I’ll be judged ?
  8. Lol, I am just giving plausible scenarios as to why they are acting this way. Am I supposed not to analyze the situation and just “yes” you?
  9. I kinda agree with that. Looks is something you are born with, you didn’t do any work for it. What is truly attractive is people who do great things in their life, achieve success, change the world, etc. Of course if the guy is a multi millionaire, but he just inherited money from mommy and daddy, or did one good investment that would be a complete turn off. I think what needs to be highlighted here is where the status comes from. I mean even most men would want to befriend a guy that is building such an amazing life for himself.
  10. Could be that you’re doing a kind of reverse psychology with them with the fact that you don’t want to commit which hurts the male ego - “I am so awesome, who does this woman think she is not crawling after me”. Also, yea, some men do pickup to eventually get a relationship.
  11. Isn’t that what majority of men who are into pickup want? Sex without much of attachment/commitment?
  12. What ends up happening is that women who are ok to sleep with the guy on the same day they meet, are usually very low conscious and/or unaware (sometimes deny) of their female nature and/or psychologically damaged. A large majority of women are not wired to have one night stands, it’s hard to separate sex from love due to female nature. So when you think about it, these women literally do no screening of men before making this intimate connection with them. They presume things about the guy that they can’t possibly know after such a short period of knowing them. That’s why you hear from all the players and fuckboys so often how “women are crazy” - because if the guy is hot/successful/whatnot, these women do end up developing feelings for them (or better say the idea of them) too soon, and start acting clingy/demanding/etc., which surprises the guy since he doesn’t understand female nature as well.
  13. I take social media breaks of about 4-8 months per year. I got my Instagram back early June and since then I feel like my life flew past me without really accomplishing anything. I don’t know if I am highly sensitive, but I can feel myself disconnecting from myself and becoming a 1000 times unhealthier, worried about what other people think and insecure. @Ethan1 unless you use Instagram/social media for work, I recommend you deactivate that sh*t. I guarantee you will be a lot calmer of a person and a lot more put together.
  14. Scrolling through Instagram, it seems that a large majority of the insta-model accounts have lip fillers, cheek fillers, face contouring, jaw fillers (there is even a package that does full face for $3000+), eyelash extensions, boob jobs and even ass fillers. I’ve always been a bit against such procedures and more on a “take care of your body the way it is” kind of side. It also seems ridiculous to me to spend so much money and time on such things - like the eyelash extensions - you need to see a technician for 1+ hours at least every month for that (for such a small tiny part), and be careful not to wash your face in that area much. The other issue is that there is endless things that you can do to yourself if you go down that path. Just now I saw someone got fillers because they didn’t like their hip dip and probably payed a 1000$+ to have this for 6-12 months (fillers are not permanent): Some of these procedures I just straight out don’t understand. Like this popular jaw thing - what if my jaw was ugly this whole time and I didn’t know it? How should I know if my jaw is square enough? ? I always thought I might reconsider when I am in my 40s or so, but it seems that women do these things very early on now, in their early 20s. I remember I somehow stumbled on this strippers YouTube who was a college girl 21-22 years old and she already had ass fillers, boob job, nose job, lip fillers, under eye fillers, cheek fillers and doing body contouring procedures - she was pulling thousands of $ per night and driving a Porsche. Most men are clueless about these things and I mean some of these results are looking quite natural. I am not particularly interested in stage orange men because I find them boring and empty, and I always assumed stage yellow men would not like such things (however, again, some of these results do look natural). It’s kind of like when movie stars or high grade fashion models have very few, if not none, invasive procedures done. Wanted to ask what people on here think about these things? Is it worth it to play this plastic game for the sake of finding a partner? I don’t necessarily have issues finding men, however, when I see all these girls doing all these things to themselves, I feel like maybe I am not doing enough for my looks, maybe I am underperforming. Also they do have lots and lots of followers on Instagram (and Instagram is basically an unofficial dating site)
  15. Yes, but you most likely won’t even notice many of the procedures
  16. When you “become enlightened”, do you start to understand why things happen? Like today I was going to the gym, but when I arrived there they had to close it due to emergency. I got upset, but I went for a run/walk instead and listened to a good audiobook. If your higher power is guiding you and throwing things on your path and if you just trust the process, wouldn’t you be much more happier and stress free? Or would you just be kidding yourself that everything is going to work out and everything is going according to some higher “plan”? Why would I create a war in my reality? Why would I make it so much harder on myself that it’s already been? Would things get better if I just start trusting the process? There is a quote by Albert Einstein “reality is merely an illusion, albeit a persistent one” - if I create my own reality, why is it so shitty sometimes? Why is it not what I want?
  17. Wow, I guess it’s impossible to understand then
  18. Is induced vomiting going to mess up your digestive system? Some spiritual practices involve you drinking a substance that induces vomiting. I think it is very dangerous and unhealthy for your body/can mess up your system for a long time after, especially when done on a weekly/by-weekly basis.
  19. Lol, sure, that’s why they on average live to a good old age of 55
  20. I understand that it will most likely happen, I have thrown up in my life in the past, but I extremely dislike it, it almost feels like you’re about to die, and the sound of others throwing up, if I was alone it would be better. I feel this will be a traumatic experience. The organizer said only not to eat chocolate, avocados, bananas, fermented foods and to “eat lightly” 3 days before and 3 days after
  21. Are HIIT workouts or even weightlifting and jogging bad for you in the long run? If you work out 5-6 times a week, for 1-1.5 hours is it going to lead to some wear of the body?
  22. What is the best way to detox your liver? Is there a diet to follow? How long does it take to detox it?
  23. Wanted to hear your thoughts on some topics. Do you think the world is catered towards extroverts? If so how? Is majority of the world extroverts? Do you believe introverts are being discriminated against? How? Do extroverts make more money? Why? Do they deserve to make more money? Do extroverts make better leaders? If you have some other thoughts, please write them below.
