  1. I did write out a reply to everyone but lost in due to internet connection but will try again lol Hi Dany, that is just the start, it becomes more complex, but when everything finally fell into place, I was the same, was honestly like WOW, thank you for your reply Dany. Hi Mikel, impossible to provide proof, but this is the reason why we experience Deja Vu 100%. Hi Meow meow, the only thing I have looked into is if anyone can give an explanation as to why we experience Deja Vu, I have seen different explanations like past life experiences, a glitch in the matrix lol, these explanations are incorrect, but I will try and answer your questions the best I can. 1- You, 2- The human brain, it is very complex, 3- I’m not sure, I don’t even know how many dreams people have each night, 4 - again I’m not 100% sure, but I think once something is stored in the subconscious memory, it is there forever or until the brain accesses it. Thanks for your questions meow meow Hi NonduelesStudi, when your brain retrieves the subconscious memory, it’s is a thought, of a feeling you have been there before, but there is more, how many times have you walked into your house and done the same thing over and over ?? You don’t experience Deja Vu, but when you do, this is what happens, your experiencing the event for a 2nd time, it is very difficult to understand the concept of everything in the Universe has already happened, but this ties in with Deja Vu. Hi Visionary, our perception of Time is not really the way we understand it to be, it is difficult to explain, but if everything in the Universe has already happened under Eternalism, the best way I can describe it, is this, did you choose to reply to this thread ??, the answer is no, you were always going to be reading this thread and replying, but this is you just reaching the point in time to experience the event lol, very difficult to explain, I hope that makes sense. Hi Judi, thank you for your post, and you are 100% correct, there is more to it, it is not just about dreams, but when you experience Deja Vu, this is your brain retrieving that subconscious memory from a previous dream, and this is why it is so difficult to explain or come to terms of what just happened, as it’s a subconscious memory, no recollection of how you got the memory or where it came from. Hi Consept, this is what is basically happening with the comic book, your story has already been planned out to every small detail, the start and the end, everything in the Universe has already happened, Time is not the way we understand it to be and everything happens for a reason, have you ever been 2 mins late for a bus for example, and you say to yourself if I was here 2 mins sooner I would have caught the bus, well you were always going to be missing the bus that day by 2 mins, forget about it and move on, no point getting annoyed or angry, it was always going to happen kinda of thing. It is difficult to state something as fact without proof, I understand this, but what I am saying would be impossible to prove, people can come to their own conclusions if that’s ok, I’m just trying to help people understand what Deja Vu really means, as no one really does.
  2. Dreams can be very complex to understand, which I don’t , I don’t think is a case of it’s only the dreams you can’t remember that come true, and some people do claim to have dreams about events that they did remember that have came true. When you experience Deja Vu, it’s your brain retrieving that sub conscious memory which you had while you were sleeping, a dream, this is why no one can really explain why they experience Deja Vu, as it’s a subconscious memory, they have no recollection of having that memory, or where the memory came from, but everyone has the same feeling, like they have been there before, and I don’t just mean the event seems familiar, it actually feels like you are experiencing the event for a 2nd time, well you are, the first time was in the dream that you did not remember, you could have had the dream a week before, or 1 year before, but it’s stored in your subconscious memory, and when you actually reach the point in time when you experience Deja Vu, this is why you get the strange feeling, like your experiencing the event for a 2nd time, you actually are, the first time was in dream you forgot about. When you say the event hasn’t occurred yet, our perception of Time is not as straightforward as some people think, when you say the event has not occurred yet, it’s already has, we have just not reached the point in time to experience the event yet, but everything in the Universe has already happened, it’s called Eternalism, I am not an expert on dreams or anything lol, I’m just explaining what happens when you experience Deja Vu. Thank you for your post Osaid and meow meow, I don’t have all the answers but I will happily answers as many questions as I can.
  3. Hi, This is my first post but I just wanted to explain what Deja Vu really means as I have seen a few topics on the subject but no can really seem to explain what happens when we experience Deja Vu, and there is a reason for this as well. I find it amazing that nearly every person in the world has experienced Deja Vu at some point in their life, and everyone has the strange same feeling, like they have been there before, but no one can really explain why, but this is what happens when you experience Deja Vu. A Deja Vu is a dream that you have had, which you did not remember when you woke up, but the dream has been stored in your sub conscious memory, so when you experience Deja Vu, it’s your brain retrieving that subconscious memory, and that is why when you experience Deja Vu, you get the feeling like you have been there before, you have, in a dream, and that is why Deja Vu seems so strange, as you did not remember the dream, it’s your brain retrieving the dream from your subconscious memory, this is you actually experiencing the event for a 2nd time, and this is why it seems so familiar, like you have been there before, you have, in a dream. I suppose the next question is how can you be dreaming about things that have not already happened ?? It seems Everything in the Universe HAS already happened, we have just not reached the point in time to experience it yet.
