  1. Technology induced attention disorder (TIAD) , pronounced tee ad
  2. Spiral dynamics = Values my values 1) Truth 2) Love 3) Consciousness 4) God 5) Intelligence
  3. My advice to anyone who hasn't tried drugs yet would be just don't. Take psychedelics occasionally, fuck the rest. Don't end up like me, and I'm not even that bad, but still. It will eat your soul from the inside out. I feel like all the spiritual work I do is compensating for my addiction. Fuck do I need to go to rehab? That to me would be way, way scarier than spending a week meditating 10 hours a day. I genuinely am shocked I ever got to this point. It snuck up on me in the last year . When I relapsed immediately after my retreat, that's how I found out just how hooked I was. The fact that my brain even wants to entertain fantasies of doing harder stuff is a huge red flag, and honestly terrifying.
  4. My kratom use has gotten way out of control, I spend up to $50 a day and now I'm catching myself fantasizing about how aesthetic it would be to nod out on real opioids.... time to stop. Somehow even though the retreat didnt fix my addiction I feel it gave me more power to choose where I direct my energy.
  5. You're joking right ? 🗿
  6. @Deziree Great Vow Zen Monastery outside of Portland, OR, has Sesshin (7 day retreat) every month. When I went they had a teacher named Jogen there, he was super dope. I asked him at one of his talks about something he said earlier. Talking about how loving kindness was powerful enough to change the world. I pressed him on this, asked him for concrete examples of how it could change the world. He said there is no "the world," just "your world." I already knew this , of course. But in that moment I didn't. I actually think the most powerful techniques are 1) just trying to earnestly figure out what's true at all times 2) DMTs 3) retreats
  7. Meditation is harder, psychedelics are scarier. I wonder if you do a lot of meditation retreats you can hone your psychic ability. I want to go to the casino lmao.
  8. The only psychedelic I've found that works for me is DMT, which I don't have regular access too. Mushrooms and lsd are pretty much just recreational drugs to me at this point, so I'm committed to doing more hardcore meditation retreats . At my first one I got my first big awakening since I did dmt 2 1/2 years ago.
  9. Sex on its own is a low consciousness pursuit but sex with intimacy leads to more Love which leads to Truth. so I think if you want to realize Truth, having sex could lead you to that.
  10. Gpt o3 Will’s Eightfold Ontological Cascade Truth Definition. Truth is posited as the aphilos (ἀφιλός) or underived principle: non-dual, trans-categorical, and ontologically prior to all modal determinations. Function. It serves as the necessary and sufficient ground (grund) for all subsequent instantiations without itself being conditioned. Analogues. Plotinian Hen, Advaitic nirguṇa Brahman, and the medieval concept of ipsum esse subsistens. 2. Love Definition. Love is construed as the primal energetic differentiation within Truth—a vectorial self-expression rather than an affective state. Dependency. Love presupposes Truth as its ontic substrate while introducing relationality (pros hen). Analogues. Eriugena’s processio, the Neoplatonic eros of Porphyry, and Schelling’s Ungrund in its dynamic aspect. 3. God Definition. God denotes the reflexive self-awareness of Love, i.e., the moment at which the self-expressive impulse becomes cognitively luminous. Dependency. God is intelligible only as Love’s self-recognition; devoid of Love, “God” lapses into a reified abstraction. Analogues. Saguna Brahman, Proclean Nous, and the Hegelian Geist in its logical immediacy. 4. Intelligence Definition. Intelligence is the formal, law-like articulation (logos) operative within consciousness—responsible for order, teleology, and coherent differentiation. Dependency. As the structuring principle, Intelligence presumes consciousness for its intentional domain yet informs it with determinate relations. Analogues. Anaxagorean Nous, Whiteheadian Eternal Objects, and Peircean Thirdness. 5. Consciousness Definition. Consciousness is the phenomenological field in which the God-relation is instantiated as the possibility of experience. Dependency. It relies on God as its transcendental condition of givenness while providing the site for individuation. Analogues. Husserlian Lebenswelt (in a broadened sense) and Aurobindo’s Supermind prior to its partitioning. 6. Contact Definition. Contact designates the bidirectional interface between finite centers of awareness and the infinite ground—phenomenologically manifest as mystical union or noetic intuition. Dependency. It presupposes Intelligence (for cognitive tractability) and simultaneously re-opens the finite to its infinite antecedent. Analogues. Nishitani’s prajñāic breakthrough and Plotinus’ epistrophe. 7. Perception Definition. Perception is the concretized act whereby contact yields determinate appearances—qualia imbued with intelligible form. Dependency. It is conditioned by contact for its transcendental horizon and by intelligence for its categorial organization. Analogues. Kantian Anschauung after the application of the categories; Merleau-Ponty’s perceptual faith. 8. Being Definition. Being is the enacted actuality of entities within spatio-temporal horizons—the terminus of the cascading articulation of the Absolute. Dependency. Being integrates all prior stages as constitutive dimensions of its manifestation; absent these, “existence” remains conceptually vacuous. Analogues. Heideggerian Sein-als-Anwesenheit and Aquinas’ participatio entis. Systemic Dynamics Although presented linearly for analytic clarity, the model is recursive: perceptual Being can initiate a dialectical return (ἐπιστροφή) through re-activation of Contact, culminating in re-cognition of Truth. Thus, the schema supports both emanationist and reintegrative interpretations.
  11. @integral blue and green have both severely restricted our sexualities. Blue primailry repressed feminine sexuality and green repressed masculine sexuality. The result is sex that is either completely sterile or perverse to the point of disgust. I think the fastest way to get good at sex is to reach tier two.
  12. Love is Oneness. It's expressed differently by the masculine and feminine. Masculine will call you out on your bullshit , Feminine will listen and hold space. Both are love. even if you don't like the chakra system, it's pretty much universally recognized the heart is where cosmic and earth energies meet. Oneness. That guru was going against thousands of years of tradition (not necessarily wrong though).
  13. Because chasing endless hot new ass is ultimately unsatisfying, even the biggest players usually eventually snap out of it. A conscious man either has a long term relationship or becomes a monk, in my opinion.
  14. Where do you think the courage to fight originates? Love of home, family, etc.
  15. Are you familiar with the phrase "heart of a lion"?
  16. They're all just words for the same thing . Truth is simply what is, and it transfers its being through them .
  17. Beagles are my favorite dog, along with Aussies . My girl may have been either an australian shepherd mix or a heeler mix . beagles are just the best. They're the most common dog in lab research, so there are alot of lab rescue beagles out there . Spiral dynamics reaction to beagle testing Green: Outrage Turquoise Profound compassion. beagle testing is a necessary evil in the evolution of consciousness .
  18. Ramana Maharshi said that the "I am" rests in the heart, although most Westerners are identified with their third eye (the Western mind feels its identity as being located behind the eyes). So opening the heart is opening to the higher self.
  19. Yeah, maybe not a majority of people suck, but a rather large minority. I guess I just have a habit of attracting those types of people, probably my karma for being a fuckhead when I was in my early 20s.
  20. I felt the same way. Literally can't be bothered. I reframed it though, by realizing that most people just kinda suck. It's not just that you're struggling to connect with women on a deep level, it's that most people simply have no depth, and your ex did. lol Before you met your ex you were fine with zero-depth relationships. You could spit game on low consciousness women and have sex with them. Now that you've tasted something real, with a woman with some degree of consciousness, you don't want to go back.
  21. I lost the love of my life (so far, I am confident I'll meet someone else) through a combination of unclear boundaries, emotional instability, and ego tricking me with shiny objects (hotter girls). I can't even begin to describe the level of misery that ensued. Depression is thrown out there for all sorts of mental states, this was a level of despair and misery that consumed my entire being basically 24/7 for the better part of a year. It was so intense that I feared I would die, not necessarily from suicide, I feared the feeling itself would kill me.
  22. Yes, it's a massive fucking distraction from doing spirituality. I kinda have more respect for these red pill rotation builders than people who dress up their polygamy in spiritual mumbo jumbo. At least the red pillers aren't posturing like they're actually highly conscious, lol.
  23. @Leo Gura thank you. Actually just had a really insightful conversation today. There's this regular at my favorite spot who inherited millions from his parents after their death. He's in his mid-forties, doesn't need to work, takes a cruise every other month. When he comes back from the cruise we can all tell whether or not he got laid by his attitude. If he got laid he's manic, if he didn't get laid he's super depressed. it's clear that this guy has suffered profoundly because he just views women in an entirely objective way. Nevermind God, this guy hasn't even had meaningful relationships. It's just endless dopamine. And he's rather like Aubrey with his spiritual posturing.
