@Leo Gura Duly noted mate!

Big thanks to @Leo Gura for featuring one of my salvia trip report narrations on his blog. I love sharing these profound experiences and helping them reach a wider audience. Also thank you for guiding me towards awakening, it changed my life :-)

@Leo Gura I'm very much in agreement regarding your perspective on the consequences of weed legislation. This is a very pressing issue that could impede many people's life purpose. If smoking weed becomes as normalised as drinking in a bar every weekend with people treating this cultural shift as just how "things should be", it will neuter an enormous amount of people's potential to carve out meaningful life purposes and contributions to humanity. The bottom line is that many people will abuse cannabis recreationally once it becomes fully integrated into our society and the price to pay for that is that individuals will be content with doing nothing with their lives or potential for global contribution and shall instead find comfort in using the high from weed to give their low effort lives a chemically induced state of meaning, which will distract them from aiming higher and contributing to our species as a whole. The drug decriminalisation/legalisation problem is far more nuanced than progressives make it out to be, so I applaud you for pointing out the ramifications of what this could mean for society.

As a ketamine addict in recovery, I can say that while it definitely did help me mitigate my overactive mind when using it wisely, it also led me down the path to addiction due to how effective it was in the moment. It can be a very useful tool for exploring consciousness and relaxing an overactive mind if used sparingly, but the effects of the drug will not bleed into your sober life. It should be appreciated in the moment as a glimpse towards what it's like to have a quiet mind. Consistent meditation practice and engaging in creative pursuits that put you into a flow state are much better for ironing out your overthinking. I empathise with you though, my mind is firing on all cylinders most of the time, it can be exhausting, hence why I got addicted to ketamine lol

I really enjoy mixing turmeric, spearmint and green tea (the Pukka brand) together. I find that it soothes my stomach and tastes pretty nice to boot. One of my favourite hobbies I've found is discovering different types of tea at various cafes both locally and globally that I've never heard of before and also exploring a range of concoctions like the one mentioned above. Just wondered if there's anyone else who enjoys partaking in tea sampling as much as me! I also enjoy a classic English brew with milk as an occasional treat.

@Princess Arabia they sound good, I'll check out that thread. Cheers mate!

@Leo Gura Glad I'm not the only other psychonaut who doesn't get King Gizzard

I don't really like Swans overall, but this song is one of my all-time favourites:

@NewKidOnTheBlock Logan barely even speaks in the video bro. Put aside your disdain for him a second and focus on the the content of the interview/video itself. It's really not that hard. -
@Raze Cheers mate!

@Leo Gura Sweet I'll check it out. I used to love Walking with Dionsaurs as a kid but that's almost ancient history now and I bet there's much better out there today. Serious bit of TV grade CGI circa 1999:

@Leo Gura Do you know of any good dinosaur documentaries worth watching on streaming?

Struggling with this exact scenario right now in life, I empathise with your confusion.

London and Manchester are especially great for nightlife, loads of different clubs that each channel a specific vibe. Just don't take LSD on a night out and run around naked like I did back in 2017, that'll learn ya.

Relatable. I ran around Manhcester naked during an ego-dissolution experience on LSD during 2017. It felt like the right thing to do at the time, just made perfect sense to take my clothes off and rid myself of all my possessions.

@Leo Gura Well said -
I can't stand the juvenile aesthetic of the bulk of anime, but I'm a massive fan of anything geared towards more mature audiences like Monster, Berserk, Ergo Proxy, Ghost in the Shell SAC, Cowboy Bebop & Serial Experiments Lain. These are a dime a dozen though, 90% of anime is horrendously shallow and no amount of exceptional artistry and animation can make up for the laughably flat dialogue and nonsensical stories that plague most of the medium and has also infiltrated itself into the various anime-isms seen in Japanese video game series. I've watched hundreds of anime over the years since I was a child and do honestly still enjoy it purely for its artistic merits and mesmerising animation, but anyone who tries to claim that shonen stuff like Jujutsu Kaisen, Bleach etc. has any nuanced storytelling or well written dialogue is kidding themselves. Doesn't mean you can't enjoy it though, I completely get why people are entertained by run of the mill shonen, but I cannot fathom how anyone enjoys the chibi looking high school dramedies with cringe af goof out moments and highschool English class level dialogue, especially when you're in your 20's and beyond.

The only film I can think of that I honestly disliked & thought was criminally overrated, would be Alien Romulus. Literally just a "best of" compilation film for the Alien series alongside the usual member berries bullshit that Disney shoehorns into all of its legacy sequels. Worst Alien film by far imo. Prometheus and Covenant had their problems but at least they were imaginative and tried something different. Romulus is indicative of the nostalgia bait marketing that plagues modern cinema, it's tragic af.
