@Leo Gura Say hi to Vegas from me 😂
-
@Leo Gura Here in London soooo many attractive women everywhere, too many it's distracting. Can't believe you had that problem.
-
Did you even train a lot to reach 1600 at Fischer Random? Were you born with a talent for Chess?

@Leo Gura I got that too actually. But for I didn't have it 100% for free, had to memorize the pitches actively for awhile until they stuck and became immediately recognizable like how you would perceieve a syllable of speech. -
@AtmanIsBrahman Yeye it's nothing remarkable but I heard the chess.com rating is about 100-200 points lower than real tournament rating. So that would be 1100 of real "tournament chess ELO" - enough to be foolishly confident in my ability to win against any random on the street, and to come up with great but illogical excuses when I lose.
-
@Leo Gura My daily Chess rating is 1327 on chess.com - 96th percentile according to their stats.
-
@Leo Gura Thinking about it, even just having a great ability to focus might explain a lot of it, your consciousness work should have helped a lot with that. Apparently one of the things that make Magnus Carlsen great is his amazing natural ability to focus for long periods of time - he could easily sit and focus for 8hours straight even as a kid. Like you I'm much better at slower games rather than quick ones. And... sign me up for a chess game any time.
-
Btw check the stats, 1600 should be top percentile on chess.com
-
@Leo Gura Well. In daily life (not online) I win literally every chess game against anyone and my Chess.com rating is around 1400. It is not normal to have 1600 rating after a month of playing- Maybe you are highly focused when you play? I only play Chess online to distract myself and always listen to something in the background lol.

If you at some point have had mouth herpes (like 50% of people) what is the risk to spread it from mouth to genitals? Let's say you don't have an oral outbreak at the time of oral sex. Do you guys have oral sex without protection?

I am looking for best assertiveness training workshops, types of coaches etc. For speaking out truth better and negotiating better.

Well, what does the music you are hearing make you feel? It is that simple. J-dilla's tune 'So Far To Go' is a musical masterpiece, check it out if you want to hear good Hip Hop. Also Kendrik Lamar's album 'To Pimp a Butterfly' comes to mind. What might be true is that the lowest level of Classical Music is better than the lowest level of hip hop. "Classical" sounding Music requires a set of decent ears to be written, as it takes an understanding of harmony and melody to create it. Hip Hop can be made more or less by just drag/dropping sampled beats into a computer. Furthermore Hip Hop has a steady beat. This can limit the variety of chords and melodies that fit in a Hip Hop context vs a Classical context - which in turn can limit certain subtle emotions to be expressed. The more subjective tempo and absence of drums in classical music open up for subtle emotions and harmonies to be expressed by the performer in the moment. In Hip Hop these harmonies and subtleties would easier be overridden by the rhythm section and/or feel forced to bring in. But to me, 'So Far to Go' makes me feel just as much, if not more than all the classical pieces I have heard.

@Leo Gura Do you know someone with BPD? I believe my mum might have it, currently reading up on it for that reason.
-
Yeah but wouldnt the bf get super pissed off?🤦♂️😂

@Leo Gura WHAT..! How exactly did those interactions play out? 😂 And btw why, what do you learn from that..?

A family friend relieved his tinnitus completely using cannabis oil. Another friend used Hopi Indian earwax candles.
-
What a strange coincidence, I just contacted medical advisors regarding my tinnitus today as I just decided that I have reached a point where I need to be proactive about it. I have "whitenoise" sounding tinnitus, it has come on gradually from around my teenage years and gotten louder with time. It might stem from prolonged exposure to semi loud sounds as I work with music. It could also be extensive ear wax, but I am still trouble shooting it. I would put mine on a grade of 5-6/10. Really looking forward to see if your cure works!

@Leo Gura Clearly you never spent a summer in Scandinavia🫐

Just looking for some support fellas We went on one date, had a good time. Went back to her place and were very close to having sex but she was adamant about waiting (we teased each other though etc). Next day great vibes, she sent pics to me she took on our hang. The following days we chatted, she used my tune in her social media post and we had an overall "connection-type" communication going. She went away on a work trip, I went away to my home country for a week (she said she wished I could bring her). But after these three weeks when I'm back in town she says she recently met another guy, must have been literally during the week I was away. And she wants to see where things go with him instead. Dafuq. Not heartbroken but guessing what should I learn from this?

@Applegarden8 Thanks for the tips, luckily I'm meeting others as well. Was just surprised that she ditched me so quickly

@meta_male Yeah that's a fair point that they often speak with what they feel in the moment, which can shift.
