Authoritarian powers always fall apart pretty quick. Just think of all the peasant revolts, peoples' revolutions, king's jealous brother, losing wars, etc. I'd say many authoritarian governments will fall just to get replaced other ones Using low-yield nukes to wipe out a carrier fleet in international waters may be an 'acceptable' strategy for some. -

Yes agreed. Your subconscious will keep self-sabotaging - you feeling disillusioned is one example of that happening right now. Willpower only works in the long term when you feel good about doing something. If you feel like shit willpower will only get you through a couple months max

Agreed! Another important factor to consider is that the world is mainly green and below. So, much of yellow politics would be about preventing them from doing stupid things. Yellow politics in a yellow society would be very different. -

I think it depends on the society and circumstance. National conservatism for example is interested in preserving national and cultural identity. When too many opposing identities exist within a single country, this oftentimes leads to political instability and at times collapse. That's because each group acts in it's own interest, for example the Tigray war in Ethiopia. Arguably, the US is multiethnic but not multicultural, where people identify as 'American,' which is a stabilizing factor. So a yellow thinker can recognize the benefit of maintaining homogeneity within a society and thus be conservative in that regard. They wouldn't be as interested in any specific traditional value though. -

I must disagree. The US will likely remain the global power for the next few centuries because: Healthy demographics Competitive 1: The best people from all around the world come to the US. Competitive 2: There's a strong culture of making money and being the best. This isn't great from the consciousness standpoint but a marvel in terms of geopolitics Strong national identity in most states. People these days are anti-nationalistic but that's very important for a multi-ethnic country to remain stable. Military: Not only does it spent the most but has adopted effective doctrines. Things are much more bleak for other contenders: China: The whole social contract is built upon the promise that the communist party will provide economic growth in exchange for freedom Rapid economic growth (double digit %/year) only works in low income countries, and China is middle income now. Demographics. An aging population is tough enough for Japan; for China with a GDP per capita of $10k USD this will be a catastrophe The CCP is stifling private companies. It's a well known fact that state-owned enterprises don't work nearly as well due mainly to corruption and inefficiency. The trust in the government is highly dependent on whether they can take Taiwan, an island fortress. Even if they do win, they'll lose at least a million troops and that's destabilizing. Poor military track record: In the most recent war they invaded Vietnam with a big numeric advantage and failed due to lack of coordination, poor training etc. Other stuff: government doesn't effectively collect taxes. Selling rights to land isn't working anymore since Evergrande China can and will likely become the world power, but not in this century Russia: Rapidly shrinking population. Furthermore, the population of the Slavs, the ruling elite, is shrinking while that of ethnic Muslims is increasing. This is bad news for them because the latter were previously conquered by Russians. Poor resource based economy and corrupt government It at least has a strong military.? Nope, can't even conquer Ukraine, should've been done within a month but they're still fighting over Donbas. Western Europe: Basically got traumatized by the world wars and lost their competitive edge. Not interested in becoming hegemons India: Currently corrupt and unable to get much done. Developing a solid democratic tradition that should propel it onto the global stage, albeit much later - after sorting out their internal issues. -

No problem, at the end of the day we're talking about the same thing with minor differences in our approach. I'm likely an outlier as I haven't seen anyone do anything similar yet. Keep up the good work as well, you're helping a lot of people with your coaching!

While doing shadow work, I've noticed that after working through x amount of pain, my mind starts shutting down and I need a break or I'll go insane. I believe it is. I tried pushing through it only to burn myself out further and waste a normally productive portion of my trip. I definitely have 'given up', or 'given in,' when things became super painful. When I said that I felt helpless, it wasn't because things got harder than they previously were but because I depleted my stamina; and had enough willpower to sit there but only enough to haphazardly probe into more blocks, getting my ass handed to me in the process. Going further would have only resulted in falling into subconscious thought patterns and creating more blocks for myself. So what I'm saying is that I (and I believe people in general) can only surrender to so many things before becoming ineffective and going insane; so a strategic withdrawal would be good in a situation like this so long as you intend on working on it later (no more than 1 day later). I believe that this is the reason why most people advise against using psychedelics too frequently.

Walking around everyday is definitely something to get out of your system, but getting stung by a bullet ant is a whole other level The mere fact that he's narrating the pain after a few seconds, puts the ant back in it's hill, and has a YouTube channel getting stung by all sorts of angry insects means that he has extreme levels of pain tolerance. If this were a normal person including myself, after 2 episodes, the trauma would make us visibly shake with our voices quivering hours before the 3rd sting.

Yeah makes sense, just doing it enough times at manageable levels would increase the allowable amount. Yes definitely the case. It feels like a war of attrition after a certain point, very tough but rapid purification ^ this. Usually on LSD after a couple hours of nonstop work (root chakra blocks, what I'm focusing on now makes me feel like absolute shit with little relief on the short-medium timescale). Sober / modafinil meditation involves grinding out a good 45 min before getting exhausted and being ineffective. Will def need to clean up my diet, above average but too much takeout lol. Music seems like a hit or miss for me, I generally get the best results listening to solfeggios. Music used to work better but is more distracting now. Maybe when I'm feeling really bad, turning on some good music may be helpful The breakdown only happens on LSD (only use that rn), and generally occurs after the peak. At this point, I've been integrating for the past several hours and my mind gets ground to dust. At this point, the blocks feel much more real and there's a sense of helplessness. This really spirals out of control on mushrooms, which is why I consider them less effective for grindy type of work. The only solution found thus far is taking a break and coming back after 30+ min, during which my mind seems to work through these blocks at a much lower intensity and prepares my energetic system to purge them more effectively after resuming. That's a very effective way of doing things. I started out doing something similar to that and after doing enough psychs developed an ability to perceive blocks very intensely and work on them directly via nothingness meditation. This involves feeling physical pain, seeing dark imagery (representations of blocks?), and finally getting a spinal adjustment (like going to the chiropractor) once the block is resolved. I think what I was asking about is analogous to 'how do I look at a computer screen for longer without getting a headache.' Starting to think that the only way of developing high levels of pain tolerance would be to have little/no shadow left, which leaves me out of luck :-( But how does BraveWilderness do this, unless he's secretly a guru who doesn't mind a bit of pain, he probably never did proper shadow work in his life! Yup definitely derails egoic success for a loooong time. Lucked out and had the opportunity to dedicate most of my attention span to personal development with psychs, for 2 years. Sucked at everything Only after a long time was I able to start using more of my brain to do ego stuff. But my ego doesn't want what it used to want anymore.

Modafinil counts as a psychedelic... right? I've always taken only modalert until recently when I got modvigil instead (hard to successfully complain in these situations lol). So if any of you were wondering which one is the better generic here's my experience: - Dosage: Modalert is stronger. 3/4 of a tab is generally optimal in the morning for me. Equivalent to 1 full modvigil. - Half life: Modalert lasts longer into the night. Thus modvigil is likely healthier as it allows better sleep (idk why the same chemical would have a different half life) - Quality of consciousness: Very little difference. Modalert is marginally better for meditation. - Cost: Modvigil is slightly cheaper. - Overall: Both are legit. I prefer modvigil since my day is ruined if I get under 8 hours of sleep, which happens more often on modalert.

@Jannes Hey didn't log on for a few weeks. 2) I do a medium dose (300ug for me) + an extra 75ug booster around 4 hours in. Goes without saying that I dedicate an entire day. Also take 30-45min break watching TV after maxing out my meditation stamina and meditating in shorter intervals going into the night. I haven't done too high of a dose on lsd but tend to become God at high doses and forget about my problems, which come back a few hours later. 4) Modafinil definitely raises my senses but can definitely go a whole day and get nothing done lol. This one has a lot to do with what you hold as the most important things in life. Personally I think I'm 'too good' to feel shame, guilt, anger and fear and decided to eventually get to such level (without suppressing anything + being virtuous) and believe I'll see my life really start taking off as I approach that point. Thus, every time I feel even an inkling of such emotion, I go home and try to meditate it out of my system.
