  1. @mr_engineer thats not what i was getting to though. I'm talking about the propoganda that he spreads through the platform is intense In terms of censorship I don't know. I've heard some things he does censor but I don't remember fully id gotta research
  2. Elon musk has an intense desire to destroy "wokeness" (self stated). X is propoganda *machine*. It's extremely biased. Don't let him fool you
  3. Anyone notice we not getting abortion back in our lifetimes What the shit bro I feel it's a symbol of regression
  4. @The Renaissance Man Nathaniel Branden also has a book called the art of living consciously. Been a while since I looked at it but I think there are some exercises in that
  5. good point. i think they're just essentially made up rules but with the intent to keep society functioning. almost similar to the law.
  6. The supreme court gave presidents immunity from the law a few months ago (from a right-leaning supreme court). This part feels dangerous given trump's history and character he's also regressive on a ton of social issues. like around women's, lgtbq, poc rights. how did we get to a point where abortion became illegal in 2024 (in many states?). muslim ban, travel ban toward some african countries. trans banned from the military etc. he's barely pushing society forward. stopping people from immigrating to america is suddenly gonna make america great again? reducing inflation (is this even true?). what are people even resonating with
  7. I can't tell (He has amazing content btw)
  8. yeah a lot of people do it. though i don't think it's a get rich quick scheme. you'd need probably a long-term time horizon, a high degree of skill and some connections in the field
  9. Genuinely curious if the rate of assault is really that high or if it's leaning into fear mongering of trans people? Im quite skeptical but I'm open minded
  10. it was the second result for me when i typed joe rogan
  11. Observe how socially adept people interact and copy some things from them Befriend socially adept people and learn through osmosis Gather best principles for social skills (through books, videos, your contemplations or other people) Gain repetitions in some form (lots of different environments to learn from) Have a growth mindset and iterate *constantly* Consider also your inner game - it's probably half the battle for a lot of people (Things like good mentality, self-esteem, mental health). Also if you have something like social anxiety it can be worked through with exposure as well as some type of self-therapy
  12. We need our school systems teaching the fundamentals of bigotry... could prevent a lot of BS
  13. Facts there is no magic solution. It is a combination of dozens of those high quality principles integrated over years. Mastery of your life takes a while
  14. For sure, it's great stuff. Can't get enough of good ideas lol
  15. Yes 1. reflect on your life to gain the right lessons 2. Gather all the best resources, people etc. 3. Develop a plan 4. Execute plan 5. Repeat 6. $$$
  16. Bc they're oppressed in some ways. See: post-9/11 anti-muslim sentiment in america, camps in China etc. They're also a diverse group and not all radicals (see: Muslims on this forum) But yeah, in the pursuit of trying to protect Muslims, they can be blind to some negative aspects that occurs in the diaspora Part of the right has the opposite problem, they can't see the diversity
  17. This guy makes a lot of doomer content. Careful of that type of stuff
  18. @Leo Gura my main point was just to say to pursue content with intention 🙌 you don't need such efficiency if that's not your value
  19. "I jump around and scavenge from content exactly what I need. Stop trying to be a completionist about content (books, videos, podcasts, etc). Most content is not good enough to warrant it and actually abuses your time and focus" What's really important here is Goal -> procure insight to achieve said goal. Everything else is a distraction I remember one of my friends in school when acing exams, would never even attend lectures. He would just sift through online lectures (they were posted online) as quick as possible to get needed material and move on. The main point of this is like consumption only helps marginally when pursuing goals. Most goals require very little consumption
  20. @The Renaissance Man Yeah, and also like it's really important because you are the average of the people you surround yourself with. So just through osmosis of being around these people will be super critical
  21. it's probably a near-necessity for success in something, they will really shortcut the process for you. you can do it without it, but I think a good mentor speeds things up a lot. you can also consider things like masterminds or meetups (small groups of people that meetup regularly) i'd say it's 100% realistic. there are so many people you can network with/befriend/pay in just about every field. i don't think it's *that* hard either, but it takes some effort and some mass messaging/networking. maybe like 20 hours of networking and another 20 hours of trial and error? for example, i was looking for a mentor in competitive chess, and i found a discord community where people are talking and discussing chess 24/7, really easy to find mentors here. i also paid a (GM) coach weekly $15/hr to coach me (found through fiverr). there's definitely a bit of trial and error. some mentors are not committed, unskilled, or low integrity. so there is some sorting you need to do and of course a mentor can't help you 100%, you need to supplement with your own wisdom & other sources
  22. @Leo Gura ill buy it ☠️
  23. Damn great share! I will consider this. i listened to a few of his podcasts and he's pretty wise. He also stresses things like EQ and healthy communication as well which I appreciate about him Question - How was the inner game section? I often wonder if these types of courses cover the inner part well. Imo i feel that is extremely critical (at least for me)
  24. There should be a lot of groups specifically for this business, it's pretty popular. Unless you wanted this forum's opinion particularly
