  1. @Nivsch Did you have to do militar service?
  2. If you want to ahieve that it takes insane levels of life experience. But you can manage that.
  3. The wisest 50 year olds always go unnoticed. Like chamaleons.
  4. @Rafael Thundercat @enchanted That death is imaginary, probably.
  5. What an absolute masterpiece. I recomend the entire album, which is a lot of good songs. If you travel by train this is the perfect album to plug. Or by bus too. And also a car for that matter.
  6. The miranda rights was the cherry on top.
  7. How much time do you spend at the gym training?
  8. Incredible decisive action by cop.
  9. It could be beauty, too. We get attached to beauty.
  10. But I want a healthy body, not a sick body
  11. If I have to ad my two cents, psychic phenomena is just a distraction. Reality is as direct as it gets. Impossibly misterious and jawdroping, but direct. Like there are not intermediaries between your experience.
  12. Short answer: Maslow hierarchy of needs.
  13. This is a song I've been practicing the last couple of months in piano. Besides my guitar practice.

  15. So little can be done about your genetics, but a lot can be done about actualizing yourself.
  16. @Joseph Maynor It is just like learning a language. If you've had any experience learning a new language you know is hard af. The serious musicians study a lot of hours a day. 3 hs is rocky numbers, and that's where I am at currently. The key is to use your intelligence to keep yourself motivated. Like super tunned to your practice. Otherwise you loose patience easily and quit early.
  17. That was a boring guest tbh. I've found this interview a bit more to the point, but I think he's still distracted with the panthism/idealism hair splitting. I like his "live" contemplation way of talking that lets you follow along. First time hearing him btw.
  18. This is a cool report. I resonate with it. Ego death is like mental surgery without anesthesia. I did not understand much your "fana al fana" thing back then.
  19. 25 y.o and been watching actualized.org since 18
  20. The issue is that this shouldn't mean that you get to bomb nannies in their homes.
  21. I would add that "thinking for yourself" is being in a place of not knowing (either skepticisim or wonder). So you are not jumping from one belief you hear to the other. That one is cool because next time you're with people you can see them getting pulled from one belief to the other and you can just be in a place of not knowing.
