I’m finding that in my contemplations, the question is steal unclear: What do non dual teachers get right and what do they get wrong? How does non duality square with notions/definitions of Enlightenment & God Realization? Can non duality be held as an ideology or a dogma? If so, how does it look and how is it different from direct conscious of the Unity of Existence/Mind? Why are certain non dualist opposed to make distinctions between lower / higher states of consciousness? Just a few- have it if you have thoughts or have contemplated such questions yourself.

So.. why does that bother you so much? it’s quite clear that socialization has its limits when it comes to solo time needed for independent thinking, contemplation and avoidance of group think. This is all part of self actualization. In the video Leo’s states it multiple times how demonization of socialization is not the aim, but rather to see its limitations. He also points out the benefits of socialization and how it helped him in his life. @Emerald- seems like a personal matter, helps to look at Leo’s perspective objectively

More assumptions. Be open to the possibility that you may be misjudging a perspective on the grounds that goes against your notions of what spirituality and personal development looks like. Ideals are ideals .. meaningless at the end of the day. OP is not saying any of this .. these are your claims. Hard truth is some of us are more conscious than others. Reality is not fair and equal in this way, but it is what it is

this makes a lot of assumptions that OP is coming from a place of feeling superior. You can become conscious to such a degree where other people don't even exist, no one to be superior to. Right / wrong, morality, relationships, being good in relationships-these are all human games in the mind of God Real inner work genuinely leads to one realizing they are God-humans would call this as superiority complex, but what if it isn't? What if it's Truth itself .. food for thought

The day my life changed is when I realized my experience of reality is not happening in what I conceptualize as my “brain”. In fact I don’t have a head or a brain outside of what I conceptualize. Implications of this realization were as follows: what i call my body became an appearance in reality, I could step outside of identifying with it for periods at a time. when my body become an appearance in reality, the distinction between it and everything else in reality collapsed. There was longer any difference between what I called “my” body and the body of “others”. Meaning the self - other distinction collapsed. The idea that I ever interacted with anything or anyone outside of present experience of reality was seen as an illusion. This ultimately brought me to the realization that the experience of reality is not happening inside of any container that I could label “me” (what I call “me”). The “me” I take myself to be possess nothing in reality- humans I call “my” parents, “my” career, “my” house, “my” lover etc. The absence of me/my is what makes reality / the experience of -infinite.

@Leo Gura- thoughts?: Enlightenment acknowledges that all states of Consciousness are Absolute, but it does not acknowledge that state itself determines what one is conscious of. What we call ‘Enlightenment’ is just one state of Consciousness out of many forms that Consciousness can take. Non Dualist are in denial that Enlightenment is contingent on state of one’s Consciousness, and that there is the possibility of infinite states higher than Enlightenment. In this way, Enlightenment is subordinate to one’s state of Consciousness. For example, there is no Enlightenment from rat state of Consciousness, just as aspects of reality beyond Enlightenment are inaccessible from a sober human state.

I find it helpful to look for truths in all forms of spirituality Reality is based in experience over intellectual understanding. Transcendent sources can only be grasps as so far one deconstructs their sense of self and identity. The question then become what spiritual paths most effectively lead to this The ones which are most closely aligned to this aim are the truest, the ones most furthest are the fakest. True vs fake spirituality exists on a spectrum-with deconstruction of self/identity as the arbiter of what is most true
