  1. Boredom is simply ego's defense mechanism to fight against the very present moment which of course is the source of the ego. The more you stay in the present moment having nothing to do to distract yourself of yourself, the more you harass your ego, so of course expect some strong resistances towards This. ego won't simply sit and watch it's death. And of course this whole thing about ego are just illusions and nothing else, eventually you'll see there's not a separate being from you living inside you called Ego! Once consciousness expanded all these illusions are gone!
  2. @Schahin No, it's just impossible. Boredom is the consequence of ones lack of consciousness. You simply are saying "I'm unconscious AF" by saying "I'm bored". Once one expanded one's consciousness beyond default identification with ego-mind like ordinary man, one cannot even imagine being that unconscious again.
  3. Yeah I actually surprised myself how well the teachings and explanations worked on him, i didn't really expected anything, he was never listened to me to meditate regularly. I thought he'll completely forget about everything and reset the day after, but nope, this time something clicked on him. Some people who suffer their illusory self so much suddenly get it and everything shift in them. Like Eckhart Tolle who realized it all by pure intolerable sadness and mental suffering and had no clue about a damn thing about sprituality or meditation.
  4. @AdamR95 I taught self-enquiry to one of my friends, and tried to make him become conscious of his true nature, during the teachings and explanations he experienced a very clear state of mind like something he have never experienced before! His crazy thought process was literally gone! Even though he didn't even have experience of meditation much! After a few days he told that his life is literally changed forever and he'll never be the same again! And some days after He told me that he just needs 30 seconds to completely clear his mind again and gain consciousness if he become unconscious again! ( He was a nervous, depressed person and had a lot of psychological problems for a very long time) This is how these techniques work on a person who is not even into sprituality or even are interested! But he was suffering his illusory self, so I helped him destruct whatever was made unconsciously during years of his life and see something which cannot be unseen after!
  5. You'll reach a state which you become so conscious of who you are that it'll dramatically reduce your thought process in unimaginable way forever! Then after there's only thoughts when needed. And even if unwanted thoughts arise, there's no one to care about! See? Then being unconscious like before would be impossible for you no matter what you do or what situation you are in.
  6. I recommend self-enquiry too! Very very powerful technique.
  7. Yes thoughts, emotions can still exist, but are we 100 percent identified with it like ordinary people? See in this path we practise and strive to remind ourselves of our true nature, every time we are lost in the illusions of the ego-mind, so the more we see the distance between ourselves and the illusions the more conscious we become, and eventually the mind is no mind! See it's all about the power you give to the mind by forgetting about your true self, and becoming unconscious, if you completely forget about it then I'm afraid you're fucked up and lost in the dream!
  8. See we all fear in life right? But how much of our fears is like the one you described? Almost zero! We worry and fear 99 percent of time about some of the most ridiculous stuff too that we don't actually have to! You can only worry, fear, become anxious when you are not conscious enough! Even in some serious life threatening scenarios self-aware people don't lose themselves in the mind body automatic reactions! Because they realized their true nature! So they are fine even when they are not fine!
  9. Imagine you become lucid in your dream, and instead of enjoying as much as you can and do whatever you wanna do untill you wake up, you start worrying about stuff in the dream you know there's absolutely nothing to worry about in a dream but still there's experience of worrying!! What?! it doesn't fucking make any sense really.
  10. You are no a thing! you are reality beyond time and space! changeless, stateless being! Pure being. notice that nothing, something, this and that are only byproduct of the finite mind! if you don't think, everything is exactly as it is!
  11. I agree with you, but it shouldn't be more than just a tool for us, for most people their mind and thought process is where they actually live in, they don't know how beautiful and amazing it is to just "be" without following a constant stream of thoughts! it's a huge problem! but they are so unconscious that probably they will never become conscious of this whole thing! unless they suffer so much that eventually being in spiritual path would be inevitable for them. Exactly! we use it when it's needed, if we chose to sit in silence for 10 hours straight without thoughts there should be no problem! if we can't then it's a big problem. It's the absolute best state one can b in! our natural state of just being!
  12. "I" am practicing digital art for almost 10 years, "I" perform my best when there's absolutely no thoughts, fully in the zone, mind completely shutdown! In fact "I" just witness the creative force express himself through my hand! "I" don't do anything! "I" need to be gone for the creative force to perform it's job with absolute perfection!
  13. Notice that when you're on autopilot mode your are time traveling, you can be found everywhere but absolutely not in the present moment and so have very little almost no attention on what you're doing. So we'd be even much finer being in present moment fully engaged with the task in hand in the no-mind state. In fact you'd be even fine being in this state almost all the time!
  14. @Leo GuraI'm just curious, do you prepare you self every time before your trip for your actual physical death knowing that you may never come back again this time?
  15. @Dark_White You remain! As always there's only you! Are you different from objects and others in your dreams? From dreamer's POV yes, but from mind's POV obviously No. See, from awareness POV either it's dreaming blank or stuff, its all one continues dream. Awareness can dream and experience anything it wants.
  16. @Dark_White imagine you pick up an object in your dream looking at it, in the dream it'll appear rigid and solid object just like "real world" objects wich from your point of view obviously is something and not nothing right? But from the mind's point of view who dream that plus everything else, it's actually nothing (no a thing)! It's made up of pure knowingness, awareness. It was never that wich appeared to be. That's how everything = nothing. Nothing is not equal to none existence, it exist but its no a "thing".
  17. @ilja Letting go of it would be the best strategy to deal with this, because you don't wanna treat it like it's an actual entity living in you! If you constantly think about it or decide to do some serious work to get rid of it, then you unconsciously giving energy and life to it and making it real and real everyday for yourself. You should seriously avoid this.
  18. @ilja Your friend is probably still living in your subconscious mind, it takes time and some effort from you to let go of him and slowly forget about him.
  19. It's all about filing the mind with the object of meditation and concentrating so intensely to the point which "I'm meditating" thought also completely dissolve. Then the gate opens, that's it. Even if you sit and concentrate on something intensely for like 15 minutes you gonna notice your sense of self gets weakened and you become very relaxed. Same thing when you are about to sleep.
  20. What's that which is aware of all this? basically anything you experience? you need to ask yourself "what am I really"? can you be a thought? just a simple thought which arises within you? can you be a simple emotion? can you really? and if not what are you?
  21. @meow_meowTo whom it becomes exhausting or boring? And who wants this process becoming more pleasant? Is it you or this secondary false "I" which you become aware of from time to time? Enquire into it. In all states you are Aware of every fucking thing! Its doesn't matter what you are aware of! But basically you are Aware, no matter what! Pure awareness. The false "I" appears and disappears with feelings, emotions, thoughts etc. You constantly need to enquire and ask yourself "to whom all this"? To eventually break the identifications with this false sense of self, this false secondary "I" wich appear and disappear within you. This practice is not about finding an answer, it's about being aware of awareness. It's about building your power with the knowledge of the self and rise above the illusions of egoic mind. It's about finding your true nature as ever present peace and abide as who you are.
  22. The real happiness is not a change to your natural state by doing something which is just a form of distraction from the emptiness within "you" do caused by wrong identifications you have with your ego-mind. Being means happiness. You exist! So you can only be happy about it. So existence is happiness, you'll realize this if you train your eyes to see all subtlest mind's projections and tricks it plays on "you" and finally remove your identifications with it.
  23. removing the identification with the imaginary "I" with sober methods like Self-inquiry sticks.
  24. how can you ever figure out if others actually exist or not without experiencing "others"? or they are conscious or not?! it's exactly like trying to figure this out in your dreams. you can only at some point believe someone's answer. realize that you are the reality which everything depends on you as awareness to exist. realize that the moment you wake up to the world, is the moment you give birth to everything!
