I would disagree with that,...more like 99.9+% Similar to the availability of accurate books on the subject. "99.9% of the World's so-called wisdom, East and West, for the purposes of awakening, is about as useful as a glass of warm spit with a hair in it." Jed McKenna

"without taking earthly action"...is a First-tier concept. For example,...Meditators HATE me,...when I bring up the subject of Non-meditation. They have invested many, many years sitting,...it has become their opium. The most threatening thing for First-tier thinkers is the confrontation between everything they believe to be meaningful, and the reality that it is all meaningless. “If your purpose is to medicate dukkha,...then meditate. If your wish is bodhi,...practice absolute bodhicitta.” "Free yourself from meditation, practice non-meditation" - Kyergangpa Chökyi Senge Turquoise is a game changer,..it's the Great Juncture between Sense Beings and Spiritual Beings. Thus the First-tier speculation of Second-tier value systems , and First-tier understanding of Second-tier value systems, pivots from First-tier paradigms. Clare Graves was quite correct in saying, "First-tier thinkers (first 6 substance levels of Spiral Dynamics) cannot recognize the Second-tier on their own, and react negatively if challenged; lashing out whenever it is threatened." Spiral Dynamic Value Systems attempts to be a model for determining how we make a decision and set priorities in our lives. Value Systems within the 6 lower Substance levels of SD, being rooted in the senses, always pivot from falsity,...what Buddhists call the Five Skandhas. On the other hand,..."A wise man (Turquoise SD 8), recognizing that the world is but an illusion, does not act as if it is real" Bukkyo Dendo Kyokai. First-tier thinkers believe that the Turquoise (SD 8) who doesn't take action is unhealthy,...because unlike Turquoise (SD 8) they have no comprehension that Space-Time is One,...thus, there is no action to take,...only the following of Spirit without hesitation. Turquoise (SD 8) does not seek to be directly involved to solve complex global issues, but desires Sentient Beings to become aware of their sentience for what it is. Turquoise (SD 8) realize that suffering is a consequence of the desire for things to be other than they are. Buddha did not say don't desire,...but don't desire for things to be other than they are. Sentient Beings don't understand the way things are. "The senses do not grasp reality in any way" Socrates Because high functioning Yellow (SD 7) are open to learning at any time and from any source, like bees that gather nectar from many flowers, they are among the few who can converse with Turquoise (SD 8) in an unguarded way. Turquoise (SD 8) must engage the Substance Levels in carefully orchestrated ways, or find themselves being physically threatened. "People don't like their version of reality fucked with." Jed McKenna At Turquoise (SD 8) personal truths, 'me stories,' and individual versions of reality are irrelevant. Values of Turquoise include: Life is a Dream. Unfeigned surrender to the Spirit that underlies all Form. Metasensory insight. Absolute Truth. Elevating the Conscious Awareness of Humanity. the Other Compassion. Direct Gnowledge, not Past Knowledge. Emancipation from things Divine. Recognition of the in-breath/out-breath of rhythmic balanced interchange. Holistic view - Fulcum, One Lever, Yang and Yin. Unconditional honesty. Non-sensory intuition. Impersonal. Non-meditation. Transcender. Appreciation of the One Space-Time. Humility is merely a degree of pride. Real Emotion (vs positive and negative emotion). Unfabricated Present Awareness. Flow with Spirit without hesitation. Non-sensory integrity. Realization that Higher Self may be stuck. Aware of Absolute vs Relative. Avoidance of hope and fear. Liberation from the 6 senses. Simplicity and Ease. Selfless Living. Cooperative vs Competitive. One foot in the manifest, one foot in the Unmanifest.

Sacred Geometry had great potential in the mid-90's,...and then there was a falling-out of sorts among Flower of Life aficionado's. Not the Dan Winter drama,...but the "sending Love," drama. In the 90's there were some studies on the geometry of Sending Love,...especially that of projecting love to others without their consent. Bob Dratch argued that "true service is the spontaneous outflow of a loving heart and an intelligent mind; which is produced by the inevitable INFLOW (not SENDING), of spiritual force and NOT by strenuous physical plane activity (doing a "something" for instance)..." the Master INFLOWS,...Pushing or sending is invading the space of another." Dratch said, "Link a planet up by telling innocent people to SEND LOVE (or ANY SENDING ACTION), or any other way where the resultant action is to "create an effect" in others by having others who are aware and those who are NOT AWARE of what is going on receive the SENDING action, is to open us globally up for a fall. AND we are seeing that globally. God help the innocents that were subjected to this violation of spiritual law!" It may have been Dan Winter who injected "I don't know if this negativity (sending love) can be stopped, I am very disappointed that these people who purport to us that they have a RIGHT to do this. The negative effect is not stopping, or diminishing, it is growing, and it is not the LIGHT that is growing, but another way for expressing a wave of death." These comments infuriated many,...predominately Green's (SD 6). Many people believe it OK to "send love"...or prayers of love,...and in their ignorance they have the best intentions. However, from love's point of view, such an undertaking is not only fully irresponsible, but impossible. Some at the time were calling it a psychic rape,...a violation of another with one's own personal desires,...a forced intrusion of one's idea of love upon another. You cannot send an Unconditional, as if it was one of your conditions to send.. "as long as love is a commodity to be given or received or even shared, as we like to say in spiritual circles,..."to share the love,"...you can't share love,...love is unshareable,...it's whole, it's indivisible. So as long as love is a commodity, to be given or received, then it is not real love,...it's the dream of love, the fantasy of love,...and there is no real fulfillment in that." Amoda Maa Jeevan But,...many are indoctrinated with the idea that love can be sent,...and their paradigm states that it is a kindness to do so. Those who never had or have let go of such beliefs, understood that "Sending" implies that the Sender thinks Love is lacking. Those who imagine they send love, are denying love. Compassion is a key to understanding love,...yet what Easterners call real compassion (Karuṇā), is inaccessible for First-tier thinkers. An authentic compassionate person would never attempt to "send love or hope." In fact, any intention to "send love or hope" is a clear indication that compassion is void in the sender. "The realization of emptiness and compassion arise simultaneously." Padmasambhava So Drunvalo argued for the Sender's, and other's for not Sending, and the high potential of the Sacred Geometry movement faded,...with First-tier Green's (SD 6) controlling the dialogue to fit their paradigms, thus denying expanded understanding of the Flower of Life. -
All those who "shoot the messenger" are caterpillars. "At the end of the day you're either a caterpillar or a butterfly, and the only way anyone will ever have even the slightest sense of what it means to be a butterfly is to become one. There are no butterfly experts among the caterpillars, despite innumerable claims to the contrary" - Jed McKenna Although I don't consider Yellow (SD 7) a butterfly, but rather those in metamorphosis,...Yellow (SD 7) has been said to be open to learning at any time and from any source, like bees that gather nectar from many flowers. Quotations and aphorisms can serve as a mentoring device for those who venture into the liminal zone between duality’s sciential sentience and the sapiential consciousness of authentic spirituality. “To read quotations is to live in a planet with multiple suns!” Mehmet Murat Ildan The quotes I use are never OUT OF CONTEXT with the context in which I'm using them. Using quotes both distances me from the label of being a teacher, and they often irritate narrow-minded people. Overall I'd like to connect with those who catch the point of the message, instead of drifting off with some predispositions about the messenger. "Many see a quote, and immediately form judgments about the user or the author of quote, and yet for those serious about Higher Conscious awareness, a quote is only discerned within the context the user was using it. " Gata de Aztlán “Focusing on a particular messenger (guru teacher) can be a major distraction on the spiritual path to self-liberation; it can take away from the importance of the message. The Message Is ‘Everything’.” Anon I mus Because so many have a predisposed negativity towards the messenger, I often like to separate message from the messenger; thus allowing for a more open-minded dialogue. "Following a recent State of the Union speech by President Trump, students at John Jay College were asked their opinions to a few selected quotations. The students responded unanimously, and reacting negatively, described them as warmongering, aggressive, and immature. Then the pollsters revealed that the quotes were actually from a previous SOTU speech of President Obama, the participants were surprised by theie responses." Cabot Phillips, Campus Reform Quotes can arouse and open new ways of seeing or observing. Just because I agree with U.S. President Ulysses Grant for saying that 'church property should be supported entirely by private contributions to keep church and state forever separate,' does not mean going into a debate about the life of Mr. Grant. Quotations should be about the message within the quotation, not the profile of the messenger. “In the garden of literature, the highest and the most charismatic flowers are always the quotations.” Mehmet Murat Ildan Serious seekers don't get obsessed or anally retentive over a messenger of a quote,...serious seekers look at the quote, and note if it (not the author) has value to the conversation. “A good quote is a beautiful bird! Wherever you meet with it, you will start flying with it!” Mehmet Murat Ildan "Until you spread your wings, you'll have no idea how far you can fly." Napoleon Bonaparte

Much of Spiral Dynamics beyond the 6 Substance Levels are speculative for First-tier thinkers. Nevertheless, there are some pointers,...such as the characteristics and definitions of Turquoise (SD 8). Turquoise views life as a dream. This is because Turquoise has surrendered to the spiritual dimension underlying all Form. This synonymous with Bodhicitta,...those who uncover the Conscious Awareness of Bodhi perceive everything in Duality and Oneness as a Dream. “He who thinks of mind in terms of One or Many casts away the light and enters delusion” - Saraha Lao-tzu said, "If you wish to unite with the heart and mind of the Mysterious Mother, you must integrate yin and yang within" - Lao Tzu From my observations, more than 99.9% of humanity don't have a clue regarding Yang/Yin or Who's Who in duality. For example, the Feminine of Duality is NOT a gender of Form, but the Wave of a Particle. Walter Russell mentioned, "As man unfolds from sensed man to spiritual man he gradually becomes aware of the two-way motion of all effect." This is Turquoise (SD 8). Turquoise (SD 8) does not view "limitations" as the Substance levels do,...nor as Yellow (SD 7). Turquoise has transcended the pyramid of Maslow's Needs. I'm not saying there are no limitations, but that those who are not Turquoise (SD 8) or Coral (SD 9) would not comprehend them. Some other points,...there is zero Spiritual about SD 1-6,...or those identified with Maslows Heirarchy within that pyramid,...although more accurately put, SD 1-6 experience life through divided-spirituality,...the patrifocal half,...from which sentience lives. There are ZERO Spiritual teachers among SD 1-6,...some examples of caterpillars teaching caterpillars to be butterflies include: Neale Donald Walsch, Thich Nhat Hanh, Mother Teresa, Malala, and All Advocates of Inter-faith Movements. Thich Nhat Hanh is a great example of a high functioning Green in denial,...which is highly attractive to other Green's. Thich Nhat Hanh is in essences a psuedo Buddhist who grew a business giving Westerners, especially SD 6, what they want, reinforced with slogans like "Community is the next Buddha." No devotee of Thich's New Age rhetoric have any serious interest in waking up in this lifetime. As for "mystics." There are zero people at Turquoise (SD 8) who are mystics. Mysticism pretty much ends with Green (SD 6),..although some Early Yellow (SD 7) may carry residue until they emancipate themselves from paradigms connected with things divine. To realize Turquoise (SD 8) all things "divine" must be let go. Turquoise (SD 8) is synonymous with Avalokitesvara's Dharma Gate,...and liberation from sentience,...the 6 senses. Also,...Turquoise (SD 8) have no reason to meditate. Of course Greens who have invested years in "sitting," you will shout you down for saying so. A Clare Graves quote impressed me, "First-tier thinkers (first 6 substance levels of Spiral Dynamics) cannot recognize the Second-tier on their own, and react negatively if challenged; lashing out whenever it is threatened."

First,...Sentient Beings attach a myriad of meanings to spirituality,...none of which are accurate. Spirit....from the Latin spiritus, or breath,...relates to the in-breath (yang, masculine energy) and out-breath (yin, feminine energy) of duality's phenomenal world,...that is, how this illusory Dream reality breaths. Spirit ONLY exists within the perception of separation. Without separation, there is no Spirit,..no Duality,...and thus no One. Without the Past, Spirit does not exist. There is no Spirit in the Present, just like there is no energy or mass in Undivided Light. Spirit is a manifestation of energy (positive and negative) intiated by the illusion of separation which instantly seeks union with the Unfragmented,...which it can NEVER DO,...because the separation is simply a Dream (not real). Spirituality is a recognition of Spirit,...not something that can be known or perceived through the senses or comprehended through the intellect (the 6th sense). "Sensing is but an electric tension set up by the seeming division of one into many which "strain" to fulfill their desire for oneness" - Walter Russell “He who thinks of mind in terms of One or Many casts away the light and enters delusion” - Saraha A Spiritual Adventure is an undertaking without belief. Experience initiated with belief, can only be experienced through the conditions of that belief, and thus not a direct spiritual adventure. "Man's sense-seeing with his eyes binds him to the illusion of Duality" - Walter Russell "As man unfolds from sensed being to spiritual being he gradually becomes aware of the two-way motion of all effect (Yang and Yin)" - Walter Russell. Only Sentient Beings believe in Oneness. Spiritual Beings, such as Bodhisattva's and Turquoise (SD 8) wish for the liberation of Sentient Beings from their sentience. "Love can never dominate the world until man ceases to live a primarily sensed existence and knows the Light of the spirit within him" - Walter Russell Higher asks, "What is Reality?" "The senses do not grasp reality in any way" Socrates

"At the end of the day you're either a caterpillar or a butterfly, and the only way anyone will ever have even the slightest sense of what it means to be a butterfly is to become one. There are no butterfly experts among the caterpillars, despite innumerable claims to the contrary" - Jed McKenna Butterflies don't meditate. "Do you think you can clear your mind by sitting constantly in silent meditation? This makes your mind narrow, not clear." Lao-Tzu Huahujing “If your purpose is to medicate dukkha,...then meditate. If your wish is bodhi,...practice absolute bodhicitta.” a Chan saying. Hui Neng said that meditation is unnecessary, and warned that such practice can easily become a narcotic. "Free yourself from meditation, practice non-meditation" - Kyergangpa Chökyi Senge "The practice of meditation is represented by the three monkeys, who cover their eyes, ears and mouths so as to avoid the phenomenal world. The practice of non-meditation is ceasing to be the see-er, hearer or speaker while eyes, ears and mouths are fulfilling their function in daily life." - Wei Wu Wei "in my regard there is no view on which to meditate" - Kunje Gyalpo "You don't need to meditate for hours and hours to attain inner peace. You need only to see, feel, and act from the heart." Kung Fu Panda "Meditation is about repetition, whereas Non-meditation is observing something totally new in every moment. If you want to connect with the open, spacious quality of mind, at some point you have to stop trying to meditate." Lama Willa B Miller "The state of non-meditation is born in the heart...." Jigme Lingpa "meditation and religious teachings are all gentle deceptions meant to soothe the inner coward, not forge the inner hero." Jed McKenna Historically, Siddhartha Gautama was near dead from meditation when a young girl named Sujata (likely a dakini) offered him some food (perhaps rice cooked in milk). Some say a state of appreciation filled him from this meal, and others as he recovered his physical strength, through a state of appreciation, he realized the nature of Dependent Origination from which suffering arises. As for LSD,...I've used it over 300 times and never had a "bad trip." Perhaps LSD is not your "cup of tea." Psilocybin was my food of choice,...but from what you wrote, I wouldn't recommend that for you. Bad trips arise from Me Stories,...thus, the best thing you could do for yourself is find and let go of as many personal truths as you can. Personal truths are always lies. Conditions cannot enter the Unconditional,...although the medicated and the media-ted believe otherwise. Don't seek truth,...in your condition that is futile. "We need to draw our attention to what is false in us, for unless we learn to recognize the false as the false, there can be no lasting transformation, and you will always be drawn back into illusion, for that is how the false perpetuates itself" Eckhart Tolle "The real seeker of truth never seeks truth. On the contrary, she tries to clean herself of all that is untrue, inauthentic, insincere." Chandra Mohan Jain "What is false need not be remedied, it merely needs to be seen as false." Wu Hsin -

I guarantee you,...Unfeigned Surrender is greatest, and most likely first, direct experience of your life. Keep in mind,...experience born of belief can only be experience through the condition of that belief. "You abandon completely all belief; you abandon every sort of way of hanging onto life. You accept your complete impermanence; the prospect of your death of vanishing into nothing whatsoever, you see, and of not being able to control anything, of being at the mercy of what is completely other than you, and you let go of that, you see, this means that you even get rid of any God whatsoever, to do it fully. You don't have a thing left to cling to." Alan watts "It's time to let go of what you thought was real" RH Sin "This notion that we must wait and wait while we slowly progress out of enslavement into liberation, out of ignorance into knowledge, out of the present limitations into a future union, is the mentality of the Long Path, which is devoted to clearing away the obstructions in man's nature and to attacking the errors in his character. The Short Path begins and ends with the goal itself; its nature is direct and its working is immediate." Paul Bruton "The most useful piece of learning for the uses of life is to unlearn what is untrue." - Antisthenes One fellow commented that letting go was like jumping off a cliff,..."Go jump off a cliff. Don’t go near the cliff and contemplate jumping off. Don’t read a book about jumping off. Don’t study the art and science of jumping off. Don’t join a support group for jumping off. Don’t write poems about jumping off. Don't cling to a parachute as you jump off. Don't let people tell you it takes 10 years of training to jump off. Don’t kiss the ass of someone else who jumped off. Just jump." Jed McKenna Before letting go,...some Buddhists say,..."Don't worry, there's nothing real about your confusion." "When you recognize I'm not gonna get anything from this; that's when you're very close." Gangaji When, through some marvellous desperation we get to the state of total let go, and then you see religion and their gods simply disappears, there's no room for it any longer. Like you cross to another shore you don't need the raft, you get off and leave the raft behind. When religion is abandoned you are in a dangerous fix because you can very easily slip into madness." Alan Watts - The Dangers of Waking Up One of my favorite Letting Go youtubes is called "Anyone Who Gives You a Belief System is Your Enemy." -
V-8 replied to erik8lrl's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
My favorite Awakening prose came from a Canadian about his Waking Up: "Waking up is not necessarily pleasant; you get to see why all this time, you chose to sleep. When you wake up the first thing you will see is Reality does not exist for you, you exist for it. Shocking as it is when you let it in, there is rest. You do not have to labor anymore to hold together a reality that does not exist; forcing something to be real that is not real. You and this life you have been living are not real ... In letting it in, even through the shock... pain... shattering, there is rest. Reality is when all you want to know is what is true ...just so that you can let it in and be true. Reality is not a safe place for you - the you that you have created. It is the only place where you would die; where there is no room for your hopes, your dreams. Once you have let it in, once you begin to re-awaken; to let Reality wake you up, nothing can get it out. That is the beginning of your end. Waking up can be much more painful than the agony of your dream, but waking up is real." -

The Flower of Life is a geometrical figure that illustrates the sixfold symmetry of the Form aspect of Duality. I facilitated workshops on the Flower of Life in the mid-90's after attending three myself. There is much geometry in Flower of Life workshop,...just as there is much ecstatic dancing in Gabrielle Roth's 5Rhythms. "You didn’t really think this was about dancing, did you?" Gabrielle Roth “Geometry is not true, it is advantageous” - Henri Poincare. The mysticism of the Flower of Life is a deep rabbit hole, where the way out is as difficult as emancipation from patriarchy itself. Mysticism always implies a patrifocal identification. The Flower of Life is about 6. "If you only knew the significance of three, six and nine, then You would have a key to the Universe" Nikola Tesla Tesla didn't say "six" alone,...but three, six, and nine,...the significance of which shows how spectra condenses into Form, and expands back to spectra. A huge part of understanding this is through an awareness of Who's Who in Duality,...which is quite upsetting for ego and patriarchal constructs. The Flower of Life isn't everything,...just everything that is samsara. -
You appear to have identified a very noble inquiry,...how deep do you wish to take it? To enightenment? One of the first things is to forget about enlightenment, or any expectation. Observing your "thinking" is a noble inquiry because thinking is one of 6 senses. "The senses do not grasp reality in any way" Socrates This is because the senses can only perceive the past,...it is impossible to see, smell, touch, taste, hear, or think in the Present. There is no Present in time,...and the 6 senses are all part of time. "The senses do not know, but man believes that his senses do know--and in that belief lies man's confusion" - Walter Russell Same with Taoism,..."Recognize that eveything you see and think is a falsehood, an illusion, a veil over the truth" - Lao-tzu "True understanding does not follow from the sense-organs." Buddha And so you don't waste a life seeking your inquiry by way of meditation,...a Long Path trap that many are tether to.... If you want to connect with the open, spacious quality of mind, at some point you have to stop trying to meditate." Lama Willa B Miller "The state of non-meditation is born in the heart...." Some say a state of appreciation filled him from this meal, and others as he recovered his physical strength, through a state of appreciation, he realized the nature of Dependent Origination from which suffering arises. Look at it this way,...those at Turquoise (Spiral Dynamics 8) or higher, do not meditate. Meditation is a practice for Sentient Beings to enjoy their their delusion.

YES! Green are pseudo feminists. At (high frequency) Yellow one begins to grasp that the Feminine of Duality is not a gender of Form, but the Wave of a Particle.
-
Love you response,...Green especially seems to be a very moral lot. Santa Fe NM is saturated with Greens (SD 6),...much more than the general population,...so they are much easier to observe. "When goodness is lost, it is replaced by morality." Lao-tzu A Buddhist once said, “Morality can only be imposed from without when we are asleep. It can only be pseudo, false, a façade, it cannot become your real being…morality is bound to be nothing but a deep suppression. You cannot do anything while asleep; you can only suppress. And through morality, you will become false. You will not be a person, but simply a “persona”—just a pseudo-entity. . . . Only a dishonest person can be moral."

"99.9% of the World's so-called wisdom, East and West, for the purposes of awakening, is about as useful as a glass of warm spit with a hair in it." Jed McKenna Note: The are many, many levels of being "Woke," only one of which is actually being "Woke." For example, someone raised in a Spiral Dynamics stage 4 household believes they are "Woke" when they get their first tattoo and enter SD 5. Actual Truth Realized people are a rarity. Clare Graves was quite correct in saying, "First-tier thinkers (first 6 substance levels of Spiral Dynamics) cannot recognize the Second-tier on their own, and react negatively if challenged; lashing out whenever it is threatened."

Remember wrote: " this is because you quote a lot instead of experiencing what divinity actually is - as if you knew. theism and divine are not the same, one is an -ism. (and isms are mostly red or blue even buddhism if it is an -ism) also you contradict yourself a lot. (headache program, sorry to say - if you expected an answer hope this is satisfactory enough) " Yes,...Green's (SD 6) believe they are at the top of knowledge, and in a way they are, because at Yellow (SD ) begins a shift to gnowledge. Thanks for your response,...it says you are not Yellow (SD 7) "open to learning at any time and from any source, like bees that gather nectar from many flowers," and surely not higher, as per your beliefs about things divine have been rejected by Buddha, Lao-tzu, Tilopa, Guan Yin, and every known Awakened Being. "Contradictions in perspective among those Seeing the profound do not occur" – Taranatha. And yes,...was so thrilled to come across this Discussuon Forum ( even perhaps having an opportunity to commune with some Kindred Spirits). Considering Kindred Spirits that may come upon this Turquoise (SD 8) thread, instead of commenting on your post,...I'll finish with a few points on things divine, and their place in the One Space-Time; even though my above post on Turquoise (SD 8) was rather complete. Brahma, God, Creator, Allah, all things Divine,... ARE NOT,...nor synonymous with The Tao, Tathagata or Source. The Tao or Tathagata or Source is like a Fulcrum,...they do not Come and Go (Zer0). The Lever is One (Brahma, God, Creator, Allah, all things Divine). Duality effects its motion (Yang-Yin energy) from the Lever. There is no One Lever without Duality, no Center without Boundary, no Here without a There. As quoted before,..."Sensing is but an electric tension set up by the seeming division of one into many which "strain" to fulfill their desire for Oneness" - Walter Russell. However, even ACIM agrees, it will never be found because it's not Real. Oneness and Duality are part of the same illusory loop. Years ago,...likely before Remember was incarnated,...I quested for God,...even attended Religious Studies through the Masters level at two universities and a college. When it could not be found, decided to seek this elusive idea in the Present, which meant I had to let go of all beliefs, even the quest for a God. The Present was uncovered,...and just as Buddha, Lao-tzu, Tilopa, Guan Yin, and every known Turquoise Being had realized,...there is no God or divine thing there. You don't have a thing left to cling to." Alan Watts. To Remember,...this is likely not your incarnation for Truth Realization,...however, an Eastern quote comes to mind that could be helpful in your predicament,...perhaps even posting it on your refrigerator: “Start knowing what you really know, and stop believing what you really don’t know. Somebody asks you. “Is there a God?” and you say, “Yes, God is.” Remember: Do you really know? If you don’t know, please don’t say that you do. Say, “I don’t know.”. . . False knowing is the enemy of true knowledge. All beliefs are false knowledge." And re-member: "In pursuit of knowledge, every day something is acquired. In pursuit of wisdom, every day something is dropped." - Lao Tzu "The real seeker of truth never seeks truth. On the contrary, she tries to clean herself of all that is untrue, inauthentic, insincere." Chandra Mohan Jain "We need to draw our attention to what is false in us, for unless we learn to recognize the false as the false, there can be no lasting transformation, and you will always be drawn back into illusion, for that is how the false perpetuates itself" Eckhart Tolle “Positive thinking does not bring you consistent peace. Positive and negative are attributes of duality. Positive means there's an opposite that you're trying to avoid. Negative means there's an opposite you're trying to attain. This keeps you in a constant state of avoiding, or attaining." Osho

remember said "if greens are not ready for a discussion about heart, it might be that they are still stuck in blue - heart chakra can be emotionally perceived if you are not ready to discuss heart chakra with green, maybe you are not there yet? sorry to be that blunt." Thanks for proving my point. Yes,...I understand it can be very difficult to hear that what you believe to be meaningful, is actually meaningless. At least Yellow (SD 7) would be open to learning at any time and from any source, like bees that gather nectar from many flowers,...the Substance Levels are as caterpillars,...feeding off the land,...without the slightest idea of what a butterfly is. As I quoted from Clare Graves, "First-tier thinkers (first 6 substance levels of Spiral Dynamics) cannot recognize the Second-tier on their own, and react negatively if challenged; lashing out whenever it is threatened." The lower 6 Substance Levels of Spiral Dynamics are tough places to be,...they believe they know all these things relative to their SD level, yet at Second-Tier all those beliefs are irrelevant. The lower 6 Substance Levels of Spiral Dynamics are Sentient levels,...Sentient Beings in need of liberation from their sentience (as the Bodhisattva vow implies). "The senses do not grasp reality in any way" Socrates "Recognize that everything you see and think is a falsehood, an illusion, a veil over the truth" - Lao-tzu "The senses do not know, but man believes that his senses do know--and in that belief lies man's confusion" - Walter Russell “All that I have tried to understand to the present time has been affected by my senses; now I know these senses are deceivers, and it is prudent to be distrustful after one has been deceived once.” René Descartes "True understanding does not follow from the sense-organs." Buddha "The only thing I do know is that when you open your eyes and look out into the world, there's one thing you are not seeing, and that is Now." Hinze Hogendoorn “Phenomenally, we can know no present, as it must be in the ‘past’ before our senses can complete the process of recording it, leaving only a suppositional past and future; noumenally, there is no question of ‘past’ or ‘future,’ but only a presence that knows neither ‘time’ nor ‘space.’ ” Wei Wu Wei "The entire illusion was never really there, The six sense-organs are also thus." Guan Yin/ Avalokitesvara "the ego is a monkey catapulting through the jungle; totally fascinated by the realm of the senses....if anyone threaten it, it actually fears for its life. Let this monkey go. Let the senses go." Lao-tzu "Do not seek it in the visible, or you'll be at it forever with no real results. It's not visible, it's not part of the senses, it's before the senses, prior to the senses." - Bentinho Massaro "you think the material universe is all there is? What mysteries lie beyond the reach of your senses? Who are you Dr Strange?" Ancient One; Dr Strange 2016 "Love can never dominate the world until man ceases to live a primarily sensed existence and knows the Light of the spirit within him" - Walter Russell

Life is Integration (SD 7)....I integrate to realize the highest potential,...it is said that Yellow (SD 7) is open to learning at any time and from any source, like bees that gather nectar from many flowers. If we were to use an ancient analogy,...the lower 6 Substance Levels are synonymous with life as a caterpillar. SD 7 is the metamorphosis. And SD 8 is the butterfly. "A caterpillar who seeks to know himself would never become a butterfly" Andre Gide Most of those I've met who claim to be Yellow (SD 7) don't meet the above statements. Yes,....they may have had a few Peak Experiences that fit their experiences with their beliefs,...thus dragging their beliefs along to the next possible Peak experience. However,...experience born of belief can only be experienced through the condition of that belief,...even 5-MeO,...if you bring your beliefs along, it merely fortifies one's beliefs,...one's conditions. So perhaps there are many faux Yellow's, or the Stages have "signal strengths," with different levels of Conscious Awareness within each Stage. "In pursuit of knowledge, every day something is acquired. In pursuit of wisdom, every day something is dropped." - Lao Tzu I recall Joseph Campbell mention his one and only Peak experience having to do with a track-n-field event,...yet he appeared open to learning. I thought that was humorous at the time, because I had more Peak experiences than most Italians have had pizza in their lives. Had Joseph Campbell reached Yellow (SD 7)? Don't know. Most of my Peak experiences just happened,...yet many were also induced,...such as the Just Because Club activities,...placing oneself in situations that bring pause to ego. One could inhale 5-MeO,...or one can activate 5-MeO naturally through Unfeigned Surrender. The latter is different than the former. I do have some comments with some "key words" from the first post: Going meta: assume that could suggest Metasensory, which would be accurate. Yellow (SD 7) is the Transition between the Sentient Being and the Spiritual Being. As man unfolds from Sensed Being to Spiritual Being he gradually becomes aware of the two-way motion of all effect." Walter Russell knowledge: Yellow (SD 7) is also the transition from knowing to gnowing. 'Gnothi Seauton', as inscribed over the portico of the Temple at Delphi, means Gnow Thyself, not Know Thyself. know\no, v. knew, known, know-ing, knows; OE gecnawan, be able to; akin to L. gnovi. 1. to perceive directly through the senses; comprehend through the intellect (the 6th sense); psyche. 2. to have fixed in the intellect or memory, something as true. 3. to be acquainted with or have a practical understanding of, as through sensory experience; know how to cook. 4. to comprehend noologically; through thought/intellect. gnow\no, v. gnew, gnown, gnow-ing, gnows; from Gk gnosis, understanding through Heart-Mind. 1. to understand directly through metasensory awareness (beyond the 6 senses); comprehend through the heart of essence or thymos. 2. to experience, without media-tion, something as true. 3. to be acquainted with or have gnostic understanding of, as through metasensory experience; to gnow love. 4. to comprehend ontosophically; through prajna/gnosis. Independent thinking: I view Yellow (SD 7) as the beginning of Dependent Thinking,...when one begins to realize that the universe is not here for them, but that they are here for the universe. It could be said that the most significant thing to learn is how to Unlearn. The following McKenna quote is a good summary of Yellow (SD 7): "I can assure you, that anyone who has ever managed to awaken from the dream state was drive by unendurable mental and emotional forces,...many people can build nuclear reactors, compose symphonies, conquer nations, or can perform brain surgery, but very few can see what is. Spiritual awakening is about discovering what’s true. Anything that’s not about getting to the truth must be discarded. Truth isn’t about knowing things; you already know too much. It’s about unknowing. It’s not about becoming true; it’s about unbecoming false so that all that’s left is truth." The threshold of Turquoise is the Unfeigned Surrender to the Spiritual dimension underlying all Form. Some Easterners uncover Turquoise (SD 8) through non-meditation,...no Turquoise (SD 8) meditates. One thing in common with all Turquoise (SD 8) is the Conscious Awareness of unfabricated presence. They're realized that there is no Present in time. "Contradictions in perspective among those Seeing the profound do not occur" – Taranatha

Most physicists will define light as an electromagnetic field that moves 299,792 kilometers per second. However, from light's point of view it travels no distance, in no time, and has no need for speed. Turquoise (SD 8) tend to define things after "standing in the shoes" that are being defined. Although First-tier thinkers believe that Spiral Dynamics is Open Ended,...nothing in the rhythmic balanced interchange of perceived Duality is open-ended. First-tier Thinkers speculate about SD 7-8-9. In fact, most First-tier thinkers believe they are Second-tier. A key to Second-tier is realizing a single truth,...and then a bigger picture unfolds. If we say that the metaphor of SD 8 Turquoise (which most agree) is "Life is Dream,"....then Turquoise, Yellow, and Coral can be better speculated upon. How would a being who views Life as a Dream see? Always remember,...two truths cannot contradict each other. I don't consider Yellow (SD 7) Second-tier, but in Transition. In Maslow's model, Self-Actualization is within the Pyramid of Needs. Transcendence is the first stage of Second-tier thinking. Turquoise (SD 8) understands Space-Time as One,...and that One Space-Time is in the past. Why just Nine Stages in the attached jpeg,..."Nine is universal because it is the wave field number,...Nothing is greater or less than nine" - Walter Russell. I do disagree with some "key words" from the first post: Mysticism: Mysticism is related to theistic ideas. No Second-tier thinker is a mystic. "The mystical experience is the highest form of a "Me" experience." Adyashanti. Me Stories and Personal Truth dissolve during Yellow (SD 7). God/ divinity: no one at the SD 8-9 stage are interested in gods and divine things. Friedrich Nietzsche was correct when he said, "Whoever has the blood of theism in his veins, stands from the start in a false and dishonest position to all things." Please remove all theists from the Stage Turquoise Examples. Non-Dual: There is no full realization of non-duality without Non-Oneness. “He who thinks of mind in terms of One or Many casts away the light and enters delusion” - Saraha The Tao, Tathagata, Source is not One, but synonymous with a Still Fulcrum. "The Tao gives birth to One (Creator, God's, things divine). One gives birth to yin and yang. Yin and yang give birth to all things (such as the genders of Form)....The Tao gives rise to all form, yet is has no [ energy, mass, space-time] of its own." Lao-tzu Duality necessitates One Lever to effect its motion. Due to the illusion of Duality, Sentient Beings seek Oneness,...however, if Duality ends, the One Lever simultaneously dissolves. "Sensing is but an electric tension set up by the seeming division of one into many which "strain" to fulfill their desire for oneness" - Walter Russell There is no One without a Many, no Center without a Boundary, no Here without a There. Only sentient beings believe in Oneness, gods, and things divine,...like the story of Great Brahma, the Creator, Uncreated, Knower of All, found in the Kevatta Sutta. "The senses do not grasp reality in any way" Socrates

Overall not much interested in the Substance Stages of SD, although most should be, because militant Greens ( NO SAFE SPACES) have the potential of plunging humanity into another Dark Age, as Blue (SD 4) did a millennia ago,...not in the name of some theistic belief, but an Aquarian belief in pluralism, such as everyone gets a prize. I do disagree with several "key words" from the first post: Intuition over logic: Green acts from feeling, not intuition. "99% of what you feel is actually based on what you're thinking" - Adyashanti Openmindedness: implies a willingness to consider new ideas. "First-tier thinkers (first 6 substance levels of Spiral Dynamics) cannot recognize the Second-tier on their own, and react negatively if challenged; lashing out whenever it is threatened." Clare Graves Spirituality: Most have a personal definition of Spirituality, which has no grasp of Spirit. Without separation, there is no Spirit. Spirituality should imply that one has an awareness of the nature of Spirit,...Particle/Wave, Sphere/Torus, Yang/Yin. Femininity: is among the most misunderstood words. I've actually written a book on the subject called 'Collage - for integration with the Feminine.' As for why the term feminine should not be associated with Green, nor any of the Substance Stages (SD 1-6) is this: the Feminine of Duality is not a gender of Form, but the Wave of a Particle. Compassion: Yes, Greens like to view themselves as compassionate, yet it is merely a relative compassion. Real Compassion belongs with Turquoise (SD 8). "Buddhist teachings on compassion are grounded in the direct realization of emptiness; without which, compassion is impossible." HH Dalai Lama. "The realization of emptiness and compassion arise simultaneously.' Padmasambhava Soul: Gurdjieff made an interesting comment about soul: "Blessed is he who has a soul, blessed is he who has none, but woe and grief to him who has it in embryo." "Contrary to many opinions, just because you have a self, doesn't mean you have a soul." Gabrielle Roth "When we lack integrity, our souls can't inhabit us." Gabrielle Roth Heart: from a spiritual point of view, any discussion of Heart should include the differences between Thymos/gnowledge and Psyche/knowledge. Greens are not ready for such a discussion. Love: from a relative point of view there are many types of love which can be associated with the Substance Stages of SD,...biological, chemical, instinctual, emotional, or mental feelings. Agape is an example of mental love,...1 Cor 13:7 describes it as, "love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.” This form of love, that is, bearing, believing, hoping and enduring is not authentic love, but the submission, devotion, expectation and suffering to the conditions of their religions brewed beliefs. "Love can never dominate the world until man ceases to live a primarily sensed existence and knows the Light of the spirit within him" - Walter Russell
