  1. Keep this stuff to yourself (don't even try to explain it to them). Don't be attached to your friends. Keep only the ones that are the least stupid. Move away when you're able to. And maybe use islam terminology if you ever talk about this stuff with them (which you shouldn't with people that are not developed enough anyway).
  2. I get all my work done first. Without any distractions. Then I can do all the distracting stuff I want without regret. I think everyone should do the same. It's easy when it becomes a habit. I used to waste a lot of hours on meaningless activities too.
  3. Nice. I think it was a combination of all of it & the sleep & fasting were the biggest factors.
  4. 'alternate realities' is a limited description of what I'm trying to put into words. Yeah, you couldn't tell which one is the "real" one when it's happening. But there are certain states where you have memories / switch between different realities (everything (that is conventionally called reality) NOW changes / morphs into a different one). All that remains is a memory.
  5. Combining different techniques multiplies their effect. For example 1h concentration -> 45m noting -> 15m do nothing. The order matters.
  6. It can take shorter or longer. Depending on how you're able to handle deliberate practice (it's hard). The number itself is just an average.
  7. There have been many reports of people on psychadelics experiencing alternate realities. An important question you'd have to answer is who's choosing which reality you switch into. I bet it would be possible to access it sober if you took a few months of and did concentration work for 16+ hours a day. (According to Daniel Ingram it's possible to experience different realms even after two weeks of it, so imagine what would happen after months of it). Obviously you'd have to build up to it. Maybe start with a week, then after integrating the experience 2 weeks etc.
  8. Consciousness work really sped up the process of learning math from me. I have to learn it in order to pass this semester at university. And I'm speaking as a guy who didn't even know high school math not that long ago.
  9. More than a year. Maybe two. But I'm sure it can happen faster.
  10. The key is to contemplate about a text written by someone more conscious than you or do a guided meditation. It multiplies the transmission (your contemplation * pointers from someone more woke * weed). That way you can get insights way deeper than you'd get sober.
  11. Something similar happens to me because of all the dream work I do. It was disturbing at first and now I just find it funny.
  12. Concentration work is amazing on low doses on modafinil. I'd use it on the first few days of a 10 day concentration retreat. Or maybe set aside the first day of your retreat for concentration work and use modafinil to assist (max 1/4 of the pill). Edit: even better if you fast the whole day. Edit 2: oh, you mean a Vipassana retreat that's not on your own this time? In that case I wouldn't do it & just stick to the instructions.
  13. High quality ashwagandha. And obviously squats / deadlifts like the guy above said.
  14. Why would you use it for lucid dreaming? That would be a waste of the substance. Besides, there are much better (and quicker) ways to induce lucid dreams than relying on the extra consciousness a psychadelic gives you.
  15. It's definitely precognition. There are ways to develop it further (dream journaling, LDing, health is also a massive component and other stuff). It's kind off the same mechanism which makes it possible to see real events during astral projection even though astral projection is just a lucid dream.
  16. Dry fasting is a way to get into autophagy faster. I don't see how that has anything to do with heavy metals.
  17. Because classical enlightenment doesn't nesecarilly equal high ego development. There can even be enlightened people who are stage purple (shamans). Monks can be enlightened blue. And also of course Bible (and other holy books) were written by their (Jesus', Buddha's etc) followers / disciples. If you want someone classically enlightened who's at least orange there's Osho. Enlightenment is easier at the higher stages but they're not nessecary. I know (personally) people who have experienced insanely high levels of consciousness but are still blue / orange.
  18. If you are just assimilating information then yeah, you wont get anything out of it... The books are supposed to make your action more effective (guide it).
  19. Call me weird but I actually enjoy it. And it does get stronger with meditation too. The same sound actually turns to the sound I hear before astral projection when I'm attempting to AP.
  20. Nope. But I wouldn't be surprised if he had some of the lower spiritual experience like astral projection etc.
  21. I couldn't agree more :-). How much stronger / weaker have psychadelics gotten for you after SE? Btw for dissolving the last solidity Frank recommends using guided meditation or at least a dharma talk while doing concentration work (body scanning, breath counting etc). I haven't managed to do that yet, but it really sped up my practice.
  22. I haven't worked as much as @Gesundheit2, but I always had a part time job at least during the summer (often during the school year too). My advice is don't sell yourself short by only trying shitty low qualifications-needed jobs. Try freelancing with skills you learn from sources like Udemy, YouTube, books etc. It's not that hard to learn (for example) web development & it's much better job than being a cashier. The only downside is that you have to have discipline as there will be no boss to tell you when you're not working enough. Keep in mind that in order to become a highly paid freelancer you have to learn A LOT. If you want to make it a career in the future (after you aren't s student) you will have to study on your own even more than you'd have in UNI.
