How many hours a day do you meditate? This is a high quality thread.

I regret taking so much LSD (mixed with shitty genetics, it wasn't really that much) that I fried my brain and now have permanent hallucinations. It was 15 tabs in total, taken within a short time period. Mind you, I was mainly taking 1/2s and 1/4s. I took them all within a month or two. So yeah, shitty genetics.

Update: the doctor ended up reacting well and he prescribed some new meds. So no hospitalization, which is great. I also wont be able to come to work for at least a month. Which means I will be receiving 60% of my pay. I also got some new freelance work, which is great.

Hi, I haven't told my psychiatrist (in fear of hospitalization) that I have persistent visual hallucinations. They cause my eyes to roll which renders me unable to work. I told him about my eyes rolling upwards and he concluded that it was caused by pills he prescribed before, so he put me off them and gave me new medication which is supposed to combat the "side effects". The problem is that the eyes rolling upwards is caused by hallucinations, not by pill side effects. I can come clean (if I get fired from my job, in case the probably-wrong-treatment doesn't work). It's probably a hard choice I need to make in case it's curable.

The thing with the eyes is still happening. He will answer me tommorow in person, he was on vacation. I am on sick leave and I am really nervous as to what would happen if I went to work.

I've done multiple home retreats and I have managed to be strict enough only once. These places really help.

I started listening to his audiobooks during my shifts and didn't get a single thing from it. I'll try to read them when I don't have to work, but it's an interesting side note.

You probably see it differently but to me it sounds like a goofy cash cow.

For the record - I have some uncomfortable hallucinations all the time. Meds don't really help, but my psychiatrist might put me on stronger ones in a few days. No history of irrational behavior or anything like that, just hallucinations. Meditation and occasional psychedelics make zero difference with my condition.

Sure thing. Although in my experience psychedelics in reasonable doses make zero difference with schizophrenia. At least the non visual ones like 5 meo.

One guy on this forum blasted himself out of schizophrenia with weed. I wonder whether that would work in my case or at least make the hallucinations I get sober more beautiful.

I already coded more with AI in one month than in a year when I worked on a game before AI existed.

Update: I already told my psychiatrist, I expect an answer tommorow.
