  1. Probe into it and don't think that you're just going off your rockers. Never know what you might stumble upon.
  2. I usually meditate while lying down and in a dark room. My experience has been that after a point I can feel my "spirit" body beating against the physical body like heartbeats. The more I stay with it, I can feel the whole room beating in and out of me. The first time it happened, I thought I found some super power, now it's normal. Also, it keeps the mind away. We have our ways
  3. Words (logic) corrupt what Is. What other choice do we have?
  4. Focus on heart beat and pulse Focus on rising of thoughts and dropping them Focus on bodily sensations Focus on emptiness between sounds when listening to music These can be challenging but also fun.
  5. The past was in the now. The future will also be in the now. Show us your past? Even if you managed to show it, it will still be in the now. How do you know what's real? How do you know what's unreal?
  6. I just found out Shaykh Lokman Efendi Hz yesterday while exploring Islamic nonduality, and I see how the core essence of all religion boils down to one thing.
  7. Thank you! Infinite love and gratitude to you @bejapuskas Thank you @James123 true love can hurt in short term. I understand that. Infinite love and gratitude.
  8. Infinite love and gratitude!!!!
  9. I had profound insight last night while watching a Mandelbrot zoom video, it occurred to me that we have been breaking down a single unitary event into separate events to study and deal with situations. However, if one wants to deal with any situation with perfect precision, he has to consider the previous event that led to the event at hand and go on backwards towards infinity. That's grossly speaking. Scientifically, a person will also have to consider all data required to deal with any event and the amount of data you can collect for any event is infinite. Insight - One Being and One Event Paradoxically, it also means that since events are relative, the One Being is absolutely non-relative, therefore no events.
  10. Hahahaha! Well, my friend and I met talked today, everything went pretty ordinary, not mystical. What I failed to realize is that even I was projecting my ignorance on him. It was a huge relief. I feel so broad that I also have the capacity to connect with people at different stages without having a shadow of judgment.
  11. Here's what I want to tell you, if you knew that everything was awareness, you will know who you are. Of course, in the human form, there are states that come and go. Now, are you looking to make one state permanent? The awareness is the knower, the awareness is the doer and that itself is awareness is everything. There is no one separate from the awareness knowing what the awareness experiences. My advice would be to verify if your experience was a mystical experience or not. Most mystical experiences are very convincing and they not only give you direct experience of your true nature but they also come with insights.
  12. One of the biggest traps in spiritual work is having conceptual knowledge and no direct experience of the Self. I would recommend that you look for ways to gain at least one or two mystical experiences to know what you're shooting at. I have had one mystical experience and it was profound enough to know what I am shooting at. Mystical experiences are also necessary to understand what words are pointing at. Words are not pointing at something tangible. What you're looking for cannot be understood by the mind. So, it would be helpful to let go of everything you know about liberation and enlightenment. Also remember, in the grand scheme of things, everything is happening for a greater good, however, horrible it seems from one perspective. Words don't do justice. Because if I say yes, you'll conceptualize your own imagination of love and peace. All I can say is go for the mystical experience and know it all by yourself.
  13. Btw,,,here's the zoom video Challenge: follow the zoom without any anticipation.
  14. Try this. I use this method to relax and let go. Sit in a chair and let your body become relaxed, focus your attention on breathing for a while, then try to feel your heartbeats without touching your chest, once you have strong sense of your heart beating, focus on your pulse in your left hand without touching your hand, then move toward head. Next try to focus on your breathing and heartbeat at once and try to smooth them out into one single movement. Now, feel your whole Being moving through your entire body. It's powerful. I haven't recommended this to anybody till now. Give it a shot.
  15. That's true. We have been there.
  16. You see what it means? You don't need a noun to start a verb. Processes are independent by themselves.
  17. It also means that the relative is so intricately interwoven with the Absolute that all separate events *so to speak* interplay with each other to make one whole event. The depth of the statement means that Christ dying on the cross is the reason for all terrorism in the world. Hahahaha! Try make sense out of that. Holy shit!
  18. I had a short glimpse of non-dual state which lasted for a day. I went out and everything I saw, no matter what it did, I saw that it was all me. I had a deep sense of bliss and love, but slowly as I began to describe the state, it all went away. I haven't tried psychedelics and in fact, my first mystical experience was a result of just being introduced to enlightenment and Alan Watts' talks about the World being the Self. Do you have any advice as to how I can navigate this bind when the ego has complete grasp on the mystical state? I know that it is silly to ask these questions because there is nothing to ask about but if you would like to guide me here, I would appreciate it.
  19. Thank you for the motivation. I see what you are delivering here. Thank you again.
  20. I also have a few questions which I think you guys can help me with, including @James123 @WelcometoReality and people reading this thread. 1. Does awakening itself bring about a wholistic change? 2. Does the ego always come back after first awakenings?
