@WelcometoReality @Nak Khid I'm pretty sure this did inspire Ramaji's, I'm not sure about labelling each stage with one emotion, like labelling the 200s desire I think it was, Desire is simply life force, and after awakening it evolves but healthy desire is a huge part of life, instead of desiring for the self alone, I desire to receive in order to share and help people, not just to help myself. But yes, they are similar, it seems DH goes into more details about the pre seeker phases and normal life, whereas Ramaji is more focused on Spiritual seekers in the 500s and then stabilising in non-duality at 640 and each stage of the awakening process. I'm like 90% sure he started this as Hawkins didn't have Ramana at the highest level of understanding. @WelcometoReality have you read 1000? -

@Nak Khid Yes and No. youll never receive an LOC based on a temporary experience but you can have glimpses or Insights, like with Psychedelics people have amazing insights but don’t always integrate as that’s the hardest part. Its often the same with RASA which is why the coaching helps so much. LOC’s are based on your overall existential experience, so your day to day consciousness. -

@WelcometoReality I remember at the start he goes over why he started his research and I think it might be because of him. It was someone who didn’t believe Ramana and Nisgardata Maharaj were “finished.” (At 1000, complete self realisation etc etc) So he wanted to investigate this further and other teachers, then commonalities started appearing between teachers then he formed the map I believe to “describe” these stages. -

@Haumea2018 Very well said and that’s a great way of describing it in terms people are more likely to understand referring to Chakras and other traditions and also why many teachers misbehave in thenearlier stages and can even become cult leaders. I haven’t finished my own process yet, but the description of the expansion of the self is eerily accurate, all I can recommend is people try RASA and the 1-1 coaching themselves if they want to see if it actually works. It doesn’t have to be with Ramaji or Ananda either, there’s plenty of cheaper RASA facilitators they have trained if you don’t resonate with them in particular! -

Hope you're ready for everyone to look at you like you're crazy I would say keep it as beginner friendly and practical as possible. Maybe show the class some sort of intro into non-duality/ Consciousness video, I can't think of one off the top of my head. If you're confident enough, you could run the class through a practical exercise to guide them towards noticing their natural pure awareness that is in the background of all experience, that might actually make people listen more if they realize what you're saying isn't theory, because naturally most people will reject this instantly. This is kind of the challenges sages like Sadhguru have, trying to teach the masses about consciousness is no easy feat- good luck! -

What Leo said. Your direct existential experience is much more important as you're living it yourself, so if you don't feel that way than that is what matters. -
I usually write this in my own private journal but recently I've been feeling obliged to share and attempt to help people in any way I can, so thought I would write here whenever I feel like it. Today has been truly amazing, in terms of external life it was really just a normal day, except I worked a lot more than usual on my businesses. Oh and in the UK there was the debate between the main 2 candidates for our upcoming General Election, one key note is that many Conservatives in the crowd booed when our Labour candidate mentioned tackling climate change and helping poor people, that really showed how far we have to go as a society. Anyways, today I have felt extremely peaceful, even though I've been extremely busy, which sounds like a pradox but it isn't. In fact this inner sense of peace is always there no matter what I am doing and only seems to be deepening as each day passes, as well as my life for life and everything about it, the simple things in life seem absolutely breathtaking now, even writing this is incredibly enjoyable. With this deepening love that I'm feeling comes an increased desire to share and help in all aspects of my life, whether that is on a 'spiritual' level, or even on a more basic level such as being a compassionate and kind human being, with each kind act, a sense of joy comes across me that this life truly is breathtaking. My experience of the now is only getting better. This moment truly is it, as it is right now. Not some special state or whatever, but this moment here is absolutely and completely it, no matter the content. A few recent realizations have been that the mind is nothing but individual thoughts and doesn't actually exist. When you investigate thoughts you realize they rise one at a time in natural pure awareness, do their thing, and then fall back into natural pure awareness, when our thoughts are strong it can seem like there is a mind interconnecting them, but there is always a gap, even if it is the tiniest gap of all, simply put the mind does not exist in actuality, but thoughts do and they continue after enlightenment, and in fact I enjoy my thoughts now, they are no longer a problem for me. Another is the realization of no other, which could explain my desire to help as I am merely helping myself relieve my own suffering when talking absolutely. All is the Self, hence Ramana's famous 'There is no world' quote, of course there isn't there is only the self, and because there is only the self there is no other! Anyways that's enough for today.

@Bill W Thank you mate for approaching this in a rational and open manner and you are more than entitled to your opinion. I would say try less to focus on the number and what each stage represents. It is merely a map to help show students where they are at, as well as show where teachers you are learning from. Tbh I thought RASA was crazy and it took me 3 months to actually cough over the money and get started with the 1-1 sessions but I'm glad I did, I get your point and honestly reading the book 1000 by Ramaji will actually help clear a lot of that up, he goes over many taboo subjects such as the corruption of Spiritual Teachers including cases of sexual abuse and scandals, whether all the allegations are true is another matter. Some examples of these teachers are: Bentino Massano, Mooji https://gurumag.com/becoming-god-inside-moojis-portugal-cult/ These teachers are clearly enlightened but have they gone all the way and are they fully integrated into the heart? In my opinion they can't be if they. In terms of LOC's they are in the 700s. All 1000 represents is complete self realization and stabilization in the absolute, I am personally not there yet, but my existential experience is fucking amazing compared to when I started a confused seeker back in February. My recommendation to everyone has been to read the book fully, then feel free to praise or critique as you wish as I feel we can then have a much fairer conversation. This video from Ananda describes LOC's more succinctly and better than I ever could!- https://www.rasatransmissioninternational.com/what-is-loc I think the precise number have much littler value than the hundreds which for me provide the real value of showing how deeply someone is awakened, I feel awakening and enlightenment is much more nuanced than one simple awakening and that's it, even after reaching 1000 I know there will be years of work ahead of me in terms of integration and on my human personality- that work will never end! If you want to chat more feel free to PM me as I wrote this thread to help people as honestly this forum seems full of hardcore seekers just as I was before all this, this is the path that helped me and I hope it can help many others who are still seeking. It's amazing how simple it all is. Again, thank you for actually being respectful and honest, instead of just taking sly digs, I really appreciate that mate! Have a great week, and remember this moment is it -
@Nickyy Yeah on second read of the article it sounds more like complete self realization to be honestt

@Jahmaine Sorry then I personally can’t answer your question. Hope you find what you’re looking for! I know you’re not asking for this but that sounds like an attempt to transcend the human condition, instead of embrace our humanity, each to their own.

Embodiment is when life starts to get really fucking amazing. Doesnt mean it’s easy though, far from it at times! -
LfcCharlie4 replied to Alex bliss's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Alex bliss a lot of self inquiry has been mistranslated and can be over complicated. i think Rupert Spira teaches it really well when he says simply- “Ask am I aware” then find out the answer for yourself, you don’t need to constantly repeat who am I for 30 mins, Ramana taught self inquiry for those not ready for the silent teaching and those who needed a bit more to help them reach the absolute. From self inquiry, becomes abidance in the Self with a capital S, abidance in the absolute, at first this may sound boring but jeez does it become amazing. -
@Jahmaine I mean my opinion is this sounds like a huge distraction on the path focusing on these powers and supernatural abilities, it’s potentially possible and cool. but wouldn’t stabalising in the absolute and living in peace and happiness for the rest of your life be even better? This seems like a distraction from the work to me, just my opinion though.

@whoareyou Discrediting is easy, understanding is difficult. Division is easy, integration is difficult. Hostility is easy, compassion is difficult. I'll just leave you with that. -
LfcCharlie4 replied to LfcCharlie4's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@whoareyou No I was saying that as most people here go through Leo for what they believe, I don't blindly believe it's a good book I read the book, have been receiving RASA and 1-1 sessions with Ananda since February and it has transformed my existential experience to say the least. I have dropped seeking, my love for life only deepens with every passing moment, the sense of peace in my experience is astounding me everyday. This is not ego games, this is simply pointing out not all awakened people have the same depth of awakening, I thought this was common knowledge, that 1 awakening isn't the end. Most teachers as I pointed out say there are stages to this awakening process. Another example of a model like this is the 10 Ox Pictures. Other examples are- Seven Valleys of Sufism, Patanjalis Yoga Sutras, Nisgardatta's I just quoted to name just a few. Please stop playing the superiority card here, all you have done is come here and call me nuts for showing the thing that has helped me awaken more than anything else, through receiving RASA and working 1-1 with Ananda. I have dropped my seeking, but the reason I made this thread as the majority of people here are still hardcore seekers like I was for 2 years, and some people are seekers for 50+ years. I would love to know your existential experience, without you acting superior and have an honest discussion, cheers. -

@Nak Khid So now you have something against paying for Spiritual Teachings? Why is it different than paying for therapy? Retreats cost money, books cost money, events cost money etc. Eckhart Tolle has $4 Million in the bank he said in one interview, I'm sure that's a LOT higher now, why shouldn't teachers earn money? These teachers that live in the west have to live like we do, I've never understood this. -

@whoareyou Here's a simple introduction- https://www.rasatransmissioninternational.com/what-is-loc -
LfcCharlie4 replied to LfcCharlie4's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@whoareyou Haha, these responses are starting to make me laugh. This book is on Leo's booklist for a reason, because it goes into detail about the various stages of awakening, just because this scale has numbers people seem to abruptly deny it, without actually reading the book and understanding the purpose of the map in helping people awaken. Please explain how it is 'beyond stupid and silly' and why we should know better, instead of dropping digs and calling people nuts, that's not exactly a conscious way to approach a discussion. Many masters spoke about the stages of awakening, well those who were fully self realized that is. A lot of people have models like this just not with numbers. Here's a quote on Nisgardatta about his more simple 3 stages model- In the consciousness hierarchy there are three stages: 1) Jivatman (individual soul). Is the one who identifies himself with the body-mind. One who thinks i am a body, a personality, an individual apart from the world. He excludes and isolates himself from the world as a separate personality because of identification with the body and the mind. (500s and Below) 2) Next only the beingness,or the consciousness, which is the world. “I AM” means my whole world.Just being and the world. Together with the beingness the world is also felt – that is Atman (The Self). (800s and Below, more correlates with the 700s in the book) 3) The Ultimate principle that knows this beingness cannot be termed at all. It cannot be approached or conditioned by any words. That is the Ultimate state. (900s when not embided, this is describing 1000- Lost in the Absolute) The Hierarchy I explain in common words, like: I have a grandson (that is jivatma). I have a son and I am the grandfather. Grandfather is the source of the son and grandson. The three stages cannot be termed as Knowledge. The term knowledge comes at beingness level. I have passed on to you the essence of my teachings. Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj This work goes far beyond just 1 simple awakening and then you are finished and every teacher is at exactly the same stage of awakening, in fact, there are depths to awakening, and this map simply explains 5 Stages of awakening, not everyone goes through them, everyone's experience is unique, and a lot of teachers have certainly not reached Nisgardatta's 3rd Stage or 1000. Instead of instantly rejecting something, study it and ask questions, you don't have to believe it but I'm sure most people would call us nuts when you try and describe that they are God, and that They are the Self and everyone is the Self. Considering Leo teaches open mindedness there's been very little shown on this thread. -

@Jkhv1 Yeah man, it's a key aspect 99% of seekers miss out it seems on, and it's so key to understand yourself on a human level, as even when we wake up we still have a body and a personality! -
LfcCharlie4 replied to LfcCharlie4's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Jkhv1 The enneagram is about personality and who you are on a human level, and it will never be changed- you’ll still have an enneagram type after your awakening, but there is unhealthy and healthier expressions of each type. It goes from 1-9, and each type has certain characteristics that are both positive and negative, and understanding these can be so helpful for awakening l. im working with Ananda and she uses it a lot with students and it’s helped me understand so much about myself on a human level. for example I’m a 7, which is joyous half glass full, always looking for things to do etc, the other side of this is that I hate facing negativity and used to avoid it like the plague and distract myself instead of facing these emotions, so by learning this I’m now learning to sit with these emotions when they come up and understand why they are happening and be with them etc. Id highly recommend it, it’s also hugely beneficial for personal development, there’s tests online, although I found mine out through Ananda and my tests weren’t 100% accurate, so I think sometimes reading each type can be more beneficial than the tests, I’m sure your RASA giver will know a fair bit about it from Ananda and Ramaji! It’s also extremely fun to learn about and shows why different people need slightly different approaches with awakening! -
LfcCharlie4 replied to LfcCharlie4's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Jkhv1 yessss, exactly it actually compliments your practices and just helps you deepen them further, and realise the absolute much faster than normal imo. Its funny how so called “conscious people” will take sly digs at something they don’t really understand yet claim to radically open minded haha, I found it quite entertaining? im glad your practices are helping you man! Have you done much enneagram work with your teacher? -
LfcCharlie4 replied to electroBeam's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@electroBeam They are there. I've been exactly where you are thinking myself into these kind of oblivions that make daily functioning so so hard, and I really feel for you, I can almost feel your pain, and I wish I could help. But they aren't gone, they are more real than before my friend. This is why using nothing to describe the absolute is dangerous, as it can be taken to be literally nothing which isn't the case at all. As much as you are the self, they are also the Self with a capital S, EVERYTHING is the self. We all then have our unique human personalities, bodies and abilities etc etc, but believe me your loved ones are not merely nothing in it's literal sense. Going through the stage you are at alone will be terribly difficult, please reach out if you ever need any help at all mate, I am more than happy to help! -
LfcCharlie4 replied to LfcCharlie4's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Jkhv1 Thank you! I’m so glad RASA has helped you grow man that’s what it’s for, I honestly think it could help so many people here instead of whatever they are doing now, I would never be where I am now if it wasn’t for RASA! Leo preaches no ideology but as soon as something different to Spiral Dynamics and Psychedelics is suggested (such as things that have been used successfully for millennia in transmissions) are instantly shut down. Doesnt sound open minded to me, but hey do whatever you want and if it helps you then I’m happy. I agree with how accurate it actually is, I was skeptical of a “spiritual transmission” being able to even have any effect on me, yet here I am? and yeah if you think there’s more after 1000 keep going, guess I’ll find that out soon enough And it has been proven to be extremely effective, all you need to do is check their testomonials for the results, and by results I mean how many people they've actually helped reach self realization. It seems results is a bit of a taboo word in the spiritual community, but realistically we are all after the same thing, and that same thing is always in this very moment, so the more we seek it the further away it gets, it's quite the paradox. Hope you have an amazing day mate! -

Lol, not sure why I haven't found this before, but this may help explain it. https://www.rasatransmissioninternational.com/what-is-loc (Of course she's taken more to LOC 1000 as this was almost 2 years ago) https://www.rasatransmissioninternational.com/what-is-rasa https://www.rasatransmissioninternational.com/you-are-the-guru https://www.rasatransmissioninternational.com/the-end-of-seeking (This will help a LOTTT of people here, was exactly how I was, please watch this) https://www.rasatransmissioninternational.com/spiritual-transmissions (Explains RASA so well)
