@Nak Khid So now you have something against paying for Spiritual Teachings? Why is it different than paying for therapy? Retreats cost money, books cost money, events cost money etc. Eckhart Tolle has $4 Million in the bank he said in one interview, I'm sure that's a LOT higher now, why shouldn't teachers earn money? These teachers that live in the west have to live like we do, I've never understood this.

This book is on Leo's booklist for a reason, because it goes into detail about the various stages of awakening, just because this scale has numbers people seem to abruptly deny it, without actually reading the book and understanding the purpose of the map in helping people awaken. Please explain how it is 'beyond stupid and silly' and why we should know better, instead of dropping digs and calling people nuts, that's not exactly a conscious way to approach a discussion. Many masters spoke about the stages of awakening, well those who were fully self realized that is. A lot of people have models like this just not with numbers. Here's a quote on Nisgardatta about his more simple 3 stages model- In the consciousness hierarchy there are three stages: 1) Jivatman (individual soul). Is the one who identifies himself with the body-mind. One who thinks i am a body, a personality, an individual apart from the world. He excludes and isolates himself from the world as a separate personality because of identification with the body and the mind. (500s and Below) 2) Next only the beingness,or the consciousness,which is the world. “I AM” means my whole world.Just being and the world. Together with the beingness the world is also felt – that is Atman (The Self). (800s and Below, more correlates with the 700s in the book) 3) The Ultimate principle that knows this beingness cannot be termed at all. It cannot be approached or conditioned by any words. That is the Ultimate state. (900s when not embided, this is describing 1000- Lost in the Absolute) The Hierarchy I explain in common words, like: I have a grandson (that is jivatma). I have a son and I am the grandfather. Grandfather is the source of the son and grandson. The three stages cannot be termed as Knowledge. The term knowledge comes at beingness level. I have passed on to you the essence of my teachings. Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj This work goes far beyond just 1 simple awakening and then you are finished and every teacher is at exactly the same stage of awakening, in fact, there are depths to awakening, and this map simply explains 5 Stages of awakening, not everyone goes through them, everyone's experience is unique, and a lot of teachers have certainly not reached Nisgardatta's 3rd Stage or 1000. Instead of instantly rejecting something, study it and ask questions, you don't have to believe it but I'm sure most people would call us nuts when you try and describe that they are God, and that They are the Self and everyone is the Self. Considering Leo teaches open mindedness there's been very little shown on this thread.

@Jkhv1 Yeah man, it's a key aspect 99% of seekers miss out it seems on, and it's so key to understand yourself on a human level, as even when we wake up we still have a body and a personality!

@Jkhv1 The enneagram is about personality and who you are on a human level, and it will never be changed- you’ll still have an enneagram type after your awakening, but there is unhealthy and healthier expressions of each type. It goes from 1-9, and each type has certain characteristics that are both positive and negative, and understanding these can be so helpful for awakening l. im working with Ananda and she uses it a lot with students and it’s helped me understand so much about myself on a human level. for example I’m a 7, which is joyous half glass full, always looking for things to do etc, the other side of this is that I hate facing negativity and used to avoid it like the plague and distract myself instead of facing these emotions, so by learning this I’m now learning to sit with these emotions when they come up and understand why they are happening and be with them etc. Id highly recommend it, it’s also hugely beneficial for personal development, there’s tests online, although I found mine out through Ananda and my tests weren’t 100% accurate, so I think sometimes reading each type can be more beneficial than the tests, I’m sure your RASA giver will know a fair bit about it from Ananda and Ramaji! It’s also extremely fun to learn about and shows why different people need slightly different approaches with awakening!

@Jkhv1 yessss, exactly it actually compliments your practices and just helps you deepen them further, and realise the absolute much faster than normal imo. Its funny how so called “conscious people” will take sly digs at something they don’t really understand yet claim to radically open minded haha, I found it quite entertaining? im glad your practices are helping you man! Have you done much enneagram work with your teacher?

I've been exactly where you are thinking myself into these kind of oblivions that make daily functioning so so hard, and I really feel for you, I can almost feel your pain, and I wish I could help. But they aren't gone, they are more real than before my friend. This is why using nothing to describe the absolute is dangerous, as it can be taken to be literally nothing which isn't the case at all. As much as you are the self, they are also the Self with a capital S, EVERYTHING is the self. We all then have our unique human personalities, bodies and abilities etc etc, but believe me your loved ones are not merely nothing in it's literal sense. Going through the stage you are at alone will be terribly difficult, please reach out if you ever need any help at all mate, I am more than happy to help!

I’m so glad RASA has helped you grow man that’s what it’s for, I honestly think it could help so many people here instead of whatever they are doing now, I would never be where I am now if it wasn’t for RASA! Leo preaches no ideology but as soon as something different to Spiral Dynamics and Psychedelics is suggested (such as things that have been used successfully for millennia in transmissions) are instantly shut down. Doesnt sound open minded to me, but hey do whatever you want and if it helps you then I’m happy. I agree with how accurate it actually is, I was skeptical of a “spiritual transmission” being able to even have any effect on me, yet here I am? and yeah if you think there’s more after 1000 keep going, guess I’ll find that out soon enough And it has been proven to be extremely effective, all you need to do is check their testomonials for the results, and by results I mean how many people they've actually helped reach self realization. It seems results is a bit of a taboo word in the spiritual community, but realistically we are all after the same thing, and that same thing is always in this very moment, so the more we seek it the further away it gets, it's quite the paradox. @Pharion I'm not shocked, majority of people on here just seem to agree with Leo. The picture I posted is simplistic as it's a snapshot of it, read the book 1000 itself and it's far from simplistic, the book itself is around 700 pages on Kindle I believe, and goes into extreme detail on every stage, giving examples of teachers and personal examples of each stage, it may not be perfect but it certainly isn't simplistic, or 'artificial.' And, about teachers, you're correct you should go with whoever you resonate the most with and whoever will help you awaken as that is the purpose of a teacher in my opinion, not to feed you endless concepts but to actually deal with your unique problems you face in your awakening process, understand you as a human being and help you understand yourself more and of course actually help you fully awaken. For me, that's exactly what Ananda has done. I was in the 500s when I started working with her in February. Let's just say now, I'm not at 1000 no, however, the deep feeling of peace I have that never leaves me is beyond amazing, the deep love I feel for this life and everything around me is constantly growing, this moment is literally it, this moment as it is, is as breathtaking as life gets. It sounds so simple yet it is so fucking amazing. I have a LOT of work to do on myself as a human, and on embodying my awakenings, but let me say these last 9 months I have grown more than I ever would have in my lifetime if I carried on just watching videos and reading books (they have their use don't get me wrong!) So, this model may be simplistic but it has helped me and hundreds of others actually awaken to our true nature and my existential experience is beyond revolutionized to this time last year when I often felt depressed and instead of being I actually believed I could think my way to enlightenment lol. So, all I am doing now is trying to help people in the best way I can, so many people on this forum are stuck seeking as I was, spinning their wheels. I wish you the best in your journey

@erik8lrl okay yes from the absolute sense. I mean from the relative sense, for example I had my first real awakening in March, and it has only deepened since.

@Nak Khid she’s at 1000 or wouldn’t be able to give RASA and teach using RASA, they try and not filter it as much as possible. They’ve only been together since 2014 I believe so Ramaji delivered RASA before meeting her, and she was awakened before meeting him. She has a book called intimacy with the infinite which goes through her story, and highlights the destructive nature of enlightenment, let’s just say she gave up a VERY comfortable and wealthy life for what she’s doing now.

@Nak Khid Honestly mate the main focus of the book is about Non-Dual consciousness, I read it as a spiritual seeker so that was my focus was to understand the 'stages' of awakening and enlightenment and even beyond enlightenment (that'll raise a few eyebrows lol) 1) From my memory I think below 30 is literally animals hunting in the wild or extreme psychopaths, but don't quote me on it, it's been a while since I read anything below the 600s stage, I might re read it, and plus like I say it definitely isn't perfect, it's main use is for the stages of awakening imo. 3) I'll pull this section up now and have a quick browse. Lol he's put George Bush in here at 283 if that helps at all and some Victor Lustig who's a con artist. Basically these people lack empathy and often their pleasures come at the expense of others, basically they are a hero to themselves, hence the term 'Selfish Heroes.' I imagine typical corporate win at all costs mentality in the corporate world would land here. I would really recommend reading the book, you at least seem intrigued by the teachings.

@assx95 Instead of trying to transcend the sex drive (Which I personally would not recommend Sex is life force, and can be amazing) why not try and improve your social skills and relationship skills so you can build relationships with Women mate? The more you tell yourself you can't you won't be able to, there's a shit ton of material out there for helping guys get good with Women and build whatever kind of sex life they want. Watching porn 3-5 times isn't going to help you though it's kind of like a vicious circle with Porn, and can be VERY fucking addictive, just go on NoFap forums on Reddit, it's almost an unspoken about problem with young men, I mean look at the 'OnlyFans' craze on Twitter where men are paying $1000's to women for nudes and videos etc its absolutely crazy. 'Your Brain on Porn" is a great book to read about Porn and overcoming the addiction. A couple good YouTube channels on game are John Anthony Lifestyle, Alpha Male Strategies and Playing With Fire (More social media game) However, if you are going to go down the game route, try not to become a horrible person and lie and manipulate women for sex etc, some of these guys aren't the most conscious, so take the teaching and embody it how you wish mate, but please don't give up on relationships or 'transcend the sex drive' maybe that will happen naturally to some people but there's nothing 'wrong' about Sex, and relationships can be incredible!

@Nak Khid Look mate, I get your skepticism, I was like that as well, but spiritual transmissions have been commonplace for centuries, if not millenia. You don't have to believe it, however all I'm saying is receiving the coaching and transmissions has transformed my life, just like psychedelics have done for many here, or how meditation retreats have for others etc. Let me go through someone I guess you understand is a true master, Ramana Maharshi. This article explains how silent teachings (transmissions) are the highest teachings, RASA is a form of that, it has also developed since that video. Amazing post. In reality this is it, this very moment truly is it. There's no other way to say it. There isn't some magical mystical world you'll get to when you awaken, but you'll realize this ugly world as it is, is absolutely perfect as it is. This can be so hard to grasp, especially with what goes on in the world. This moment truly is it, and it is amazing. (Even when it's not amazing haha)

You're focusing on the words, God is nothingness, the absolute, emptiness etc, it's another way of phrasing it, but of course it has baggage if you come from a religious background.

Only way is to test things yourself, you don't have to pick Leo as your teacher though, but I'd at least pick someone and stick with it instead of bouncing through teachers, do your research and find something that resonates with you. Psychedelics may be your path, or they may not, you don't HAVE to do it anyway, in fact, you don't have to do anything you don't want to. I personally starting working with a teacher in February and receiving transmissions and 9 months later I've had 'results' I could have never expected in my existential experience. Yeah it's definitely spreading, modern day teachers NEVER had access to the information we have access to. Just think you can go on YouTube and there's hundreds of teachers if not more you can watch and learn from, as well as hundreds of books, websites etc etc if not thousands. The teaching is also developing for westerners who are busy people, you no longer have to go to India and study for years and give up your life. We really are SOO lucky to have all this information available, imagine being stuck on a question, ordering a book from India that takes 3 weeks and then reading the book and it just gives you more unanswered questions, we really have it easy compared to the old days. Psychedelics could also be a factor, although the 60s was flooded with them, but more young people are seeing the value in them for healing and spirituality reasons, and not just to get fucked up. We really live in an amazing age, that we all take for granted!

@Nak Khid I have no idea lol, the book is mainly focused on contemporary LOC's of spiritual teachers, it has a few examples of peoples below the 500s level. I'm surprised Leo isn't in the book tbh, maybe he will be in the next updated edition, but they updated it this year.
