  1. @Villager Albert Would have to hugely disagree with you there, and I've read Ben Greenfields stuff on it also. I had a deficiency in B12 and D3, ever since I started supplementing with B12, D3, EPA/DHA and a Whlefood Multivitamin, I've felt 1000000000x better, like literally on top of the world. This has reminded me to make a thread about how much my health has transformed in the last 12 months, I've also recently cleared up my sinuses with Wim Hof Method. Issues I had were mild Depression, lethargy, fatigue and mood swings. Now I'm ALWAYS at peace and happy (mainly to do with awakening thought) have unlimited energy daily, sleep like a baby, workouts have only improved (until Gyms shut here :() etc, etc I get your points, and you need to be careful going Vegan, I was a bit of a junk food vegan first 4 years and wasn't following Whole Food Plant Based, so yeah a lot of vegans will fall into that trap. We can go into studies and doctors etc, but you're on here for Self-Actualization and spirituality I guess, so I'll leave you with this. When you awaken to love, and the true nature of yourself and reality, and you realize The Self Is ALL including Animals, killing another living being for your own pleasure is certainly not an expression of this love, therefore, while I first went Vegan to clear my acne (It did that) now it is an expression of this love and understanding of The Self as EVERYTHIG meaning I want to minimize exploitation and suffering to other beings where possible, not saying I'm perfect, but in 2020, I'm sorry it isn't hard to eat Plant Based. A lot of teachers are vegetarian- Ramana, Rupert Spira, Francis Lucille etc It's the one area I disagree with my own teachers on, to me there is no hierarchy, and I don't want to murder living beings for food, and an expressing of Non-Violence and this Love, and equality of beings to me in 2020 is Veganism. I get it it's impossible to be perfect, and this isn't about morals, but is beyond morals and more about the understanding of Love, and expressing this in day to day life.
  2. @Derek White Yeah I wasn't saying Sadhguru, he has to water down so much due to the nowadays billions he speaks to, I'll PM you, but like I said if you resonate with Leo, stick with it! I just found 1-1 sessions with teacher so helpful and effective
  3. @electroBeam The Absolute WANTS to experience this 'human', it wants you to be a unique expression, so as well as basking in Non-Dual freedom, we also get to be unique individuals and get to experience this without any resistance, and live life to the fullest! The Ego was simply always in the way of us LIVING and LOVING! A life without love, is not a life worth living, just look at Voldermort for what an absence of love brings
  4. Awesome message bro, hit the nail on the head, drop the 'Ego' and live life in an effortless state of flow and spontaneity without resistance to whatever is arising and with complete and total acceptance. Sometimes, that may mean dealing with a break-up, a death of a loved one, losing your job etc, but that doesn't mean you can't totally accept what has happened, feel the feelings it brings in each alive and spontaneous moment& carry on living. Funny thing is, it's always 'been like this' it's always been The Absolute/ God/ The Self running the show so to speak, yet 99.9% are just completely unconscious to this! A spontaneous, effortless life, lived in complete acceptance and harmony with what is is truly beautiful. And, the funniest thing of all? Dropping the Ego allows your true individuality and uniqueness to flourish. It's the opposite of becoming a white blanket of awareness.
  5. @Leo Gura Of course, I didn't mean to imply that understanding and deconstructing reality in your own experience is absolutely key. I also didn't mean to imply to become a teachers sheep, teachers are helpful guidance but it's YOU that has to understand this in your own direct experience, not simply start parroting teachers or practicing without true understanding of why you are etc
  6. It basically boils down to this. If you resonate with Leo, it means your main forms of practice will be psychedelics and regular trips, that’s essentially what he promotes nowadays. If you don’t resonate with Leo, go and find a teacher that resonates with you and work with them directly if possible, even some beings on here offer that, or just go to their retreats or listen to their teachings and what they recommend. I don’t think Leo is saying Don’t meditate or do practices, his view is just that you can’t reach the “highest levels of awakening” without drugs, at the end of the day that’s his view and if you resonate with that stick with the teachings. That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t also do other practices etc. if not, go and find another teacher and see what kind of results you get. I did just that, and it was the BEST thing I ever did and transformed my life. Leo will say to me “you’re not awake” but you shouldn’t let someone’s opinion on a forum bother you that much, only you are your Guru. so for the majority of you here it’s either: 1) Go with Leo, start the psychedelic path and dive as deep as possible into psyches along with Leo. 2) Go find another teacher (theres 1000s these days) and understand their teachings and whether they can help you. It will be of course different from Leo, but fully Self-Realised teachers say the same thing, with their own flavour of course. Arguing with Leo about his path and teachings is pretty pointless at this point, he’s made his mind up and all that really matters is your own direct experience, not what you read on here or what this guru said about that guru. I will say this. Leo seems more into deeper and deeper exploration into God Consciousness, than abiding awakening and the realisation of the truth of your own being, and then abiding and integrating this into life. So if you resonate with tht stick here. Majority of other teachers are more into the realisation of your own being and simultaneously reality, the happiness and peace that comes with it and then aligning all areas of your life with this understanding and the “end to seeking.” What Leo teaches is getting VERY different from masters and sages across millennia, so if you resonate with that then stay, if you don’t then find another teacher, but I’ve realised debating with Leo and his followers is pointless at this point. Have a good day everyone
  7. Hey everyone I'm not sure exercise if emphasized enough on this forum, it's such a key part to long term health and wellbeing, and quite frankly makes you feel AMAZING. It can also be used as part of a Spiritual 'Practice' when done mindfully and can truly bring us into complete being in the now, especially when you're playing a Sport or something similar, or in 'Flow' state. I don't think I need to go on about the benefits of exercise, everyone knows them, but I thought we could all post our current exercise routine, why we do it, and what our goals/ long term plans with our routines are- how we want to improve/ change them. Maybe it'll help people start their own as well! Mine: Weight Training 3x Per Week- Following Lean Gains/ KinoBody method of Compound lifts, RPT and Rest-Pause Training, don't follow their nutrition though- eat WFPB and Health > Gains always. Training consists of Squats, Military/ Shoulder Presses, Weighted Chin Ups, Bench Press, Deadlifts, Rows, and Accessory work. Usually, follow this up with the Sauna& Cold Shower! (Highly recommend) Do this as I LOVE weight training, helps improve body composition, increases fat loss, builds stength and of course builds muscle. Also, feels amazing and gives you that extra incentive to eat healthily all the time. Will admit when I started when I was 16/17 was mainly wanting to look good, has evolved since then, but still one of the reasons is aesthetics, not main focus anymore though. HIIT- Recent addition, I was an idiot for years and hardly did cardio outside of my sport/ school when I was there. Now aim for 4-6 Tabata sets a week, mainly on off days, or post-workout. Do this as it's great for you, it's fun (and TOUGH at the end) and helps increase a number of key areas in fitness. Occasionally do a mini Interval Swim, but not very well! https://bengreenfieldfitness.com/article/fitness-articles/workouts-exercise-articles/longevity-training/ (Section on Endurance) Fasted Cardio- New one for me, but I am to get 10-30 minutes of fasted cardio in every morning before a Cold Shower, basically helps accelerate fat loss, also in the article above, also LIC so like a walk, biking, swimming etc but not high intensity Low-Intensity Physical Activity Throughout Day- I work from home, so every 25-30 minutes will take a break and go on a short walk, do jumping jacks, jump on the exercise bike etc, helps increase blood flow and emulate what blue zones do. Things like Pull Ups, Kettlebell swings great do, just don't have equipment at my house. If you work a physically active job you're very lucky in this regard. Also, gives boosts of energy throughout the day which is awesome. Finally I play a sport called Cricket in the summer, for those outside the UK I'll link a video, this is purely for fun and enjoyment and I tend to play 1-2 matches a week (they last most of the day) and then train 1-2 evenings a week, so I'm all good for cardio in summer! So, what's your guys routine with exercise? Mine has developed this year as I turned my focus towards a more 'holistic approach' to fitness, instead of just 'Gym.' In terms of what I want to add- Foam Rolling/ Proper Stretching, Some form of sprinting potentially/ Power& Speed workouts
  8. @Javfly33 I’m not sure difficult is the right word, but it sounds like you need to start cultivating your emotions and feelings. If everything feels “neutral” it sounds like you’ve had a typical “mind” awakening which is common for westerners first (same for me). But, you need to start getting in touch with how you truly feel in each moment and allowing your feelings to be felt in each moment, don’t block or resist them. People hate doing this though, as you’ll probably have “ negative” emotions come up that you’ve repressed over the years, it was hard for me to learn to face my emotions and even things like boredom instead of running away from them. But, to Me, it’s the greatest “part” of awakening is to deeply awaken to infinite love and integrate it into your life, although it could happen organically, you can can do things such as loving kindness meditations, and self-inquiry into feelings. Also, whenever a feeling arises during the day don’t push it away but welcome it in like a guest to a guesthouse, and then from there completely feel the emotion and investigate it.
  9. Awaken to love, it’s as simple as that. It’s true, without an awakening to love this can happen. Look at teachers like Mooji and Bentino Massano and countless others caught in abuse scandals. Even Charles Manson spoke of No-Self etc When you truly know the “other” to be yourself you want to share nothing but Love and help people. Even “normal” people know Love to be “the strongest force in the Universe” the entire Harry Potter series is based on this for example. Awaken to love, and you will realise your actions will become guided by love, truth and happiness. Why would you want to ever hurt yourself if you could help yourself?
  10. @Aaron p I’m not saying this is (and yes I know Leo has 2 videos on this) But, just for a second look at what you wrote from a 3rd person perspective. “Leo is emptier than anyone I’ve ever met” “All other teachers have dogma, but not Leo” (and all other teachers are ignorant of course) “Leo has made all the best traditions even better! He’s purified them all for us!” “Nobody else has this, Leo is so special and unique!” “Leo has found the best technique ever!” “This isn’t normal, something very special is happening here with Leo” Surely, I cant be the only one who sees how this sounds. You can’t tell me that if any “outsider” came on here and read that message that you wouldn’t think Leo was running a cult. You’re literally saying how Leo is superior to every other teacher and tradition that has ever existed. Maybe he is, but doesn’t that sound a little bit too convenient? Again, to be clear I’m not saying this is a cult, I’m merely pointing out how that message sounds, and especially how it would sound to a “normal” person. If it was someone else saying these things I wonder how everyone here would react. Just remember at all times you’re your own guru, and to never give your power or authority away to anyone. You are the guru.
  11. @Meta-Man ???? That is peak enlightenment, the Heroin and Meth users have been so close for so long, just needed a different drug.
  12. @Beginner Mind In Rupert terms, don’t forget the outward path ?
  13. @andyjohnsonman awesome man. @remember yes is amazing! @Gneh Onebar Strange, are you following the guided one on YT, that’ll give you an idea. That is strange, keep us updated. @Surfingthewave Lol, it wasn’t meant as a competition. Simply shared it to get more people involved, more of a co-operation?
  14. @Beginner Mind Of course, as well as finding out the truth about your own being and reality itself. Yet Finding out this truth about our own being allowed us to find the inherent peace and happiness that never leaves. Never known an unhappy self realised being, let’s put it that way.
  15. @Serotoninluv I was simply attempting to ask Leo if he abided with Absolute peace and happiness that comes with true Self-Realisation that all masters speak of. This Happiness is our nature, it is inherent in The Absolute/God/The self or whatever you want to call it, so to me, it’s almost like a litmus test for true self-realization and stabilisation there, and not just insights or awakenings.
  16. I agree with you in terms of the Francis quote below, and that realisation of I Am The Self/ Awareness etc and that’s ALL that exists is it. This is it. However, not every awakened being has this understanding. go listen to Eckhart or Tony Parsons Then go listen to Rupert/ Francis and you’ll notice subtle differences. I agree there’s an end to seeking though, and that comes with realisation of The Absolute, of This, and with it all concepts and notions of enlightenment and spirituality are simply destroyed. Anyone who says they are an enlightened person has much further to go. Enlightened people don’t exist, all that exists is The Absolute, and those who are conscious of this and those who it is veilled in. and, all that is left is THIS. It’s ridiculously simple, yet paradoxically can be so hard to “get.” But, God is literally staring us in the face in every moment.
  17. @max duewel I do around 1-2 songs worth, but I’ve been doing cold showers for 4 years since I found out they help acne and redness, now tbis is just added incentive! I’m going to try some 10 minute showers this week and hopefully an ice bath if I can make it work?? But I’d say start at 10 seconds at the end of your hot and work up to a 2-5 minute cold daily shower + mixed in some cold exposure challenges, as I go through the Wim Hof course I’ll update you guys
  18. 1 Week update. I recommend 1 session of 4 x 40 breaths on an empty stomach, followed by a cold shower to work best for me, doing it at night gave me too much energy! Still have a second cold shower at night though, won't be stopping that Going through week 2 of Wim's course now so will update. Also, from the PDF going to try a 10 minute cold shower this week, now that will be fun.
  19. @Raptorsin7 There’s not that many typical teachers who offer it, many stick to talking to a large audience as you can reach more people easier and when you have 1000s of followers I guess it’s a lot easier, although it’d probably be possible for Rupert and Co to do some 1-1, but maybe it’s just not for them. Also, people have a lot of resistance paying for 1-1 sessions, not sure why when they can be so beneficial, I guess it’s because back in the day Jesus and Buddha and Ramana were giving it all away for free, however, they also weren’t living in 2020 in the west, but I do understand people’s concerns. But, that goes out the window if people are then willing to pay 1000s for a retreat, and maybe that’s why big teachers don’t do 1-1, I remember Eckhart saying he had 4 million sitting around in the bank. Although, that must of been a shitty deal with his publisher, he’s sold millions of books ? Also, say your retreat can hold 50 people and each person is paying £1000 for the week for accommodation, food and teaching. Say you pay the hotel, £600 per person to cover the room and food for a week, that’s not a bad profit left over for a weeks work? Average 1-1 costs like $100-200 say, that’s 100-200 hours of work to make the same amount, these Non-Dual teachers must be loaded ?
  20. @Serotoninluv I wasn’t talking about human happiness, Or a happiness dependent on anything whatsoever though. More, the “happiness” inherent in The Absolute, and inherent and the Realisation and abidance as The Absolute. I also agree it goes far beyond happiness, And awakening is simultaneously very destructive and can have serious repercussions on your “human” life, that’s part of truly accepting and integrating the understanding. I’m not saying it’s all sunshine and rainbows, far from it. In fact, I agree more teachers should be honest about this. My teacher ended up leaving her marriage, creating issues with her children, and cutting contact completely with her family for many reasons and completely starting a new life that caused a LOT of issues relatively speaking, of course none of this was an issue for The Absolute. Im also not sure why everyone got so defensive, I just asked a simple question to Leo, as I wanted to know his answer. I didn’t comment at all on his path or his deepest desires, it’s his path and I respect that, and whatever he decides to “pursue.” And for you, I completely respect that, and I wish you well in healing the issues you spoke off in relative life, I know health and personal issues can often drag one Down, always here if you need someone to chat to man ??
  21. @Leo Gura I just have one question for you Leo. Are you happy?
  22. @Beginner Mind there’s plenty of teachers out there who offer it I think even our own @Nahm does ? But, yes of course I’m not doubting Rupert you know how much I love him! I just feel it could be hard to to “all the way” without additional guidance in some cases
  23. @Beginner Mind If I’m honest I didn’t find that practice much help from Rupert, for me it took working 1-1 with a teacher and working through certain blockages and sticking points, basically a whole process of “unlearning.” That’s kinda wbu o moved away from Rupert and mainstream teachers, they only offer retreats, which are great but I see 1-1 as like 1000x more effective. it’s like Being taught a sport 1-1 compared to in a group, you’ll get much more out of it in a 1-1 setting for sure, as the session is dedicated to you and your game in that case and what you need to work on. Let’s just say there was a lot of storms before the sun came out for good, it wasn’t as simple as clicking my fingers, I know for a lot of other people it’s similar, whereas, some are lucky and “get it” instantly, that wasn’t me! As @Nahm said Being is all there is, it is just often Veilled in 99.9% of beings.
  24. @Beginner Mind Eventually awareness “fuses” the background and foreground and you simply abide as The Self always. Hard to put into words and that’s probably a shit description. Put simply, Yes, there is a peace and happiness that never leaves. But it’s not like the happiness of your sports team scoring a last minute winner, more of a subtle absolute peace and happiness that never leaves.
  25. Remember awakening is all about unlearning and realising THIS is it, concepts are great to help on the journey, but as always the map isn't the territory. Just be without expectations and paradoxically the peace and happiness will arise naturally, from abiding as what you are.
