LfcCharlie4 replied to Matteo's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@EntheogenTruthSeeker I worked with Ananda for 9 months with 1-2 sessions a month before reaching so called LOC 1000, but even then, that’s still just a concept, a useful one, but eventually still needs to be dropped. People vary in how long it takes, some could take years, I know some take a couple sessions (then of course have integration) Every case is unique, and a number of things play into that. Receptiveness to the teachings, built up beliefs, conceptual understandings, Seeking past, you could even argue “past lives” If you believe in any of that. I first hand know RASA isn’t some magic pill, it simply helps clear blockages and experience your true nature, to me the 1-1 sessions were just as if not more valuable in clearing my blockages and issues along the path, it also helped with integration each time. Plus, only You can ever know your own “LOC”/ awakening, you are the guru. I personally haven’t had 1 session with Ramaji, only worked with Ananda and she was amazing, Ramaji seems great in Satsang and I know @Haumea2018 worked with Ramaji. This all said, maybe it isn’t the right path for you, there’s no one right path for everyone -

@Matteo if they’re advertising it takes a few sessions then that’s BS, Ramaji and Ananda are pretty open that it takes (usually) around a year, and even then you will have integration and embodiment work. If someone is saying it takes a few sessions that’s BS, there is no quick fix, even if you have a spontaneous realization like Ramana you then have integration work, for example, Eckhart Tolle sat on benches for years! There is no quick fix, even with psyches you will have plenty of integration work, if you look for a quick fix you’ll just chase your tail forever. -

@Smiles You can do both, but usually one will take the front seat so to speak. For example, there will likely be a period when you're a hardcore seeker that 'The Work' takes your primary focus so maybe your career and relationship don't grow like you'd want them to. But then say post-awakening, you are freed from seeking, and therefore free to express this understanding in all areas of life and can actually 'merge' the two by 'improving' your life Consciously in terms of career, health, finances, relationship etc, but while you can still learn from typical Self-Help teachers you'd likely add your own flavor and depth to make them more in line with your own understanding. One thing many Non-Dual 'students' forget is that we still need to embrace our humanity, and Human work never ends until we drop the body. However, it can vary, some may want to go and sit in an Ashram and meditate for the rest of their days, whereas, some will want to delve deeper than ever in their career and have a family. It's absolute freedom, and absolutely it makes no difference whatsoever, just follow your heart. And, awesome man, society changes one individual at a time, and it sounds so cliche and corny but it does feel there's some kind of collective awakening going on, I mean you didn't have Non-Duality teachers on every corner even 10-15 years ago, now YT is flooded with them, these sorts of forums were a lot rarer as well, it seems humanity is starting to wake up! @Carl-Richard Exactly, as a seeker it can be hard to 'combine' the two, but often, post-awakening, this confusion is cleared and life can be 'built' on a whole new paradigm that is aligned with Truth, Love and Happiness. It's beautiful. -

@Keyhole @pluto I hope these messages can somewhat get through, these are important, even without these entities the excess use of these substances is bound to cause energy and physical problems at the very least. @pluto I have also noticed this when I go out drinking, people will become a lot more violent and aggressive, whereas, others will become a lot more outgoing and happy, would you say this is due to having a vibration beyond these entities? How do you know when the entities are effecting people? -

@EntheogenTruthSeeker Who are you getting RASA with? And, if that LOC is correct, you won't notice much difference yet. -
@Osaid That's a good place to start, 10-30 seconds at the end, but eventually just dive in and go straight for the cold!

My advice would be to follow your heart, and if that is telling you to pursue Psyches then go with that, or if it is telling you to take a break from all of this work and go enjoy 'normal' life without considering spirituality go do that. In my view, it will probably do you worse to force yourself to keep 'seeking' if it isn't coming naturally. From your descriptions, it potentially sounds like more typical practices of healing and dealing with the issues you are facing may be a better approach to take, for example, you mentioned long term depression and not being over the girl you are/was in love with. So, in these cases, I usually ask what are your fundamentals like? Depression is usually caused by something being out of whack, our natural way of being is happiness and peace. So by fundamentals I mean your Diet, Exercise, Sleep, EMF exposure, Vitamin& Mineral levels, do you have addictions to things like Porn, Phone, Weed, etc, are you over stimulated by Dopamine? Do you get outside much/ in nature much at all, even things like that can really help. To me, these should be addressed before we then move onto Spirituality and awakening. However, in regards to your emotions ALWAYS feel them fully, do not resist. Whatever you resist will persist! Treat ALL emotions and thoughts like guests in your guesthouse, LOVE them unconditionally and welcome them, only then can you start to investigate and truly understand their true nature. Also, sorry to hear about your lackluster RASA experience, mine was the complete opposite, I worked 9 months with Ananda Devi and it was the single most helpful thing on my journey, it was also the 1-1 sessions which really helped overcome blockages and integrate the insights from RASA. Who was your RASA facilitator out of interest? I'm biased, but maybe you weren't at the end of seeking, and it wasn't the right time for you to undertake RASA and were looking for some kind of shortcut. It doesn't exist. True awakening will also involve facing your shadow and the depths of your being, unfortunately, it isn't all sunshine and rainbows. But, it's always worth it. Or, what @Salvijus said. Problem is we come from materialistic and scientific backgrounds (mostly) so it can take a while to get on board with the whole 'energy blockages' and kind of new-age terms like that, but transmissions are based on grace and energy, so if you go down the Psyche path it's best to stick with that and not mix, same as if you go down the 'typical' path of transmissions and whatnot, it's best not to mix that with Psyches. You also have to remember transmissions have been used for 1000s of years, the highest teaching has always been silence. All words are simply modulations of this teaching to help express and explain the teaching in various ways to relate to most people. This video explains transmissions pretty well. In terms of RASA, it isn't personal, it is simply presence being shared and helping clear the blockages someone has. Not about getting high and having amazing experiences. They also actually don't give RASA to anyone who's tripped in the last 6-12 months usually. Awakening isn't an experience. https://www.rasatransmissioninternational.com/spiritual-transmissions -

Question- Why place so much value on anyone else's opinion? What makes their opinion more authoritative than your own? You're your own Guru. If you resonate with Rumi, go read his poems -

@electroBeam I completely agree absolutely speaking nothing matters. But, when you truly understand nothing matters, and you’ve truly understood THIS, you’ve found the “thing” that does matter. Happiness. Love. My worry is that your average No-Self teacher falls into the trap of nothing matters, without an awakening to Love, leaving it as kind of Non-Dual Nihilism that you see a lot. Once “Nothing Matters” is fused with Love, the issue is non existent, of course to The Self/ Absolute, absolutely nothing matters whatsoever, and in fact nothing ever happens either, and everything is perfect as it is. -
LfcCharlie4 replied to VeganAwake's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@SOUL Must admit that is a great description of the No-Self dogma. One thing I hope- our public services workers don’t awaken without the awakening to love and start regurgitating “nothing matters” there’s nobody there to their patients! -
If you want you could try the Wim Hof method for a few weeks. Breathing Exercises + Cold showers and cold exposure therapy, although, cold showers can be tricky at first!

@Nahm Bro, you’re fucking awesome, by far the most helpful and understanding guy on here, and I’ve only heard good things from your students. Just wanted to say “you” are a legend, also, do you cover manifestation in your sessions / is that a big part of your dream board? -

Here's something ironic, Sadhguru talks about mahasamadhi around a Yogi he met and his wife. Essentially it's leaving the body consciously when you are ready to and want to, without waiting for an illness or old age to lead to your death, so it is very much something you have to be willing and want to do. I feel you have a lot more to give Leo before you leave this reality, but then again it's completely up to you. Most people tend to be old of course, but many are young who do this, such as Sadhguru's wife, it usually comes in the form of a desire that your work here is done, and it's time to move on. However, for most of us we won't be ready for or want this. I know I don't yet! So, it's best to focus on living life the best we can and integrating this understanding in all areas of life, and most importantly having fun and enjoying life! -

@Leo Gura Great response, agree 100% with that. I feel some people want to dive in at the deep end in their first swimming lesson, which is fine, just be prepared for a few times where you almost drown. As you mentioned, even post awakening these things have their relative importance, unless you plan to become a monk or hermit, which I suspect not that many on here do. Out of curiosity do you plan to teach on any of those things you listed above? I was speaking to someone the other day, it’s going to be fun when the first/ more truly awakened nutritionists, bodybuilders, money coaches, businessmen, school teachers, interior designers, athletes etc start popping up everywhere. -
LfcCharlie4 replied to FoxFoxFox's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@FoxFoxFox Great point on the psyches, we need more guys like you around here Refreshing to see someone who gets it isn’t simply about shoving something up your arse and having amazing insights, and these peak experiences are quite simply experiences. Like @Raptorsin7 to me it sounds like you’re trying to chase a state which puts you in a constant state of seeking for more more more, you’ll realise the truth when you stop and breathe. I also agree if you want to “feel good” more often clean up your diet, exercise every single day, cold showers, breathing exercises etc, true awakening will of course bring lasting peace and happiness but not the kind you’re describing just from how you’re talking about it. -

@mp22 We must now remember, Leo is the most awake human ever, and nobody else is close. have you not got the memo recently? on a serious note, as much as Leo May think nobody else is awake, I’m yet to find a teacher or really anyone in the community who doesn’t think this is just Leo experiencing Inflation, Grandeur and potentially even Narcissism. So, it’s either Leo is the grand master of awakening and 5MEO is the holy grail, and over the millennia, all awakenings are void. Or, maybe, a lot of people’s suspicions regarding Leo and his “awakening” could also be true. Who knows! Maybe, Leo has had deep insights and awakenings on these drugs, but maybe isn’t truly awakened as he claims he is and that’s why he keeps going back for more? I will not say either. Who really knows? Although, I will say, I think recent behaviour has left a bad taste in a lot of people’s mouths. But, then again who are we to judge someone’s else’s awakenings? Maybe, in 100 years they will look back on Leo’s life as a great advancement in awakening and the proof of the psychedelic path. or they will look back on the first online psychedelic cult of its kind, that lead to lots and lots of issues. Or maybe somewhere in between. who knows? Focus on yourself, do the work and be your own guru, teachers are there to help you, not to idiolizse Personally I haven’t resonated with Leo for a long time, and am finding it very interesting what he is writing recently. -
@andyjohnsonman Love that, wish we had a lake nearby, hope it felt amazing despite how cold it was! And Midwestern method is awesome, he's been at it 4 years so knows a thing or 2

@Shiva Well said, thank you. Aside from the nutrition which I think there’s plenty of science for. Its where I disagree with many non-dual teachers and where guys like Ramana, Rupert and Francis seem to have a deep understanding of love and equality of all living beings, why harm and exploit living beings if there’s no need to?

@Villager Albert Id argue very different, and if you know little about the meat industry I’d say get to know what you’re consuming, if you continue to after that’s up to you. Im kinda unsure how a lot of people continue to eat meat after understanding factory farming& the dairy industry. Even if the diet isn’t optimal you can certainly get everything you need and more when you plan and eat properly and supplement where necessary.

@whatthefucksgoinon Just so you know, Francis is Ruperts teacher, and who taught him the direct path. And, no you don’t! solitude and the inward path has its place but you don’t need to be a hermit, that can also come from a place of fear of the “dirty world” and protecting your peace. The only reason to do that, would be if you really wanted to, however you can be completely involved in life and completely awakened, Rupert is a great teacher. Go enjoy life! Go live! -

If you’re drinking every night you probs won’t feel great very often, and your body won’t thank you much. If you’re drinking here and there as a celebration, why not enjoy yourself? If you’re drinking as an escape and way to avoid what you’re feeling and whatever else, it’s coming from a sense of lack. But, this doesn’t only apply to alcohol- TV, Movies, Sex, Video Games, a lot of other activities. Are you doing them to escape how you feel and from a sense of lack. Or, are you doing them as a means to express happiness, have some fun and enjoy life. That’s what makes all the difference. Here’s a response from Francis Lucille regarding impersonal desire on this matter: The wanting itself comes from the ego. Is this correct? Or is enlightenment, in fact, a way to manifest one’s worldly desires? Ignorance is the problem, not the ego. Our wanting comes from ignorance when we believe that our happiness depends on its fulfillment. Example of desire that comes from ignorance: I feel miserable. I don’t like it. I want to drink some champagne to get out of my predicament. The liquor store is closed, I feel even more miserable. Example of desire that doesn’t come from ignorance: for no reason whatsoever, I feel happy and lighthearted. I have this friend visiting me later today. It would be nice to celebrate friendship with some champagne. The liquor store is closed. No problem, it was just a nice idea, my happiness is not affected. The door bell rings: my friend appears, holding a bottle of champagne to celebrate the reunion. You see the difference?? -

@VeganAwake Exactly!!! After all words are concepts and pointers and nothing more even the “best” and “biggest” words are simply pointers to.... THIS. Robert Wolfe is awesome, but we have to remember he’s probably not awake! -

Do whatever you desire, but awakening truly means it's done in a loving way that expresses this understanding. Maybe that's orgies every night or maybe that's cellibacy, varies for each individual.
