  1. @Raptorsin7 You sound very convinced that you don't want to do this. I believe in character. I'm old skool. I'm generation X and believe that if you have a value of success then you should finish what you start. Dropping out is a pattern of behaviour I find to be destructive, because you tell your brain that it's fucking ok to accept instant gratification. You know what you want, there is no doubt, but you're in something now and you can learn a lot by delaying instant gratification and just working through it. I would go against my whole being if I agreed with you to drop out. It's not just a thought story for me, it's a massive piece of the puzzle about feeling congruent. My self image is not a drop out, so I don't drop out, therefore j don't have conflicts in me. But there is more to consider than your own interiors here. There is the fact that actually finishing the degree will speak VOLUMES to the right people in the future that you need to work with in order to actualize any business plan. Others are always screening you for integrity and if you are a guy with no integrity you will attract bad situations and people until you fix it. The easiest way is prevent that by just having integrity now. Millennials can sometimes think they are entitled to something. Also saying that you can transcend negativity sound like spiritual bypassing. If any negativity can be transended, then why don't you just stay at college and be a millionaire lawyer who transcends his negative feeling about life?
  2. @DrewNows Detox healing, dieting, whatever you want to call it, fasting, should be done in the presence of qualified medical professionals. Again, cross reference your information with other models (schools of thought) to find out what true. Your quack herbalist puts people at danger because he's a reductionist and unwilling to acknowledge any other form system other than his own narcissistic teaching Fruit works, as we have seen backed by science and channels like mastering diabetes. Fasting works as has been shown by true north fasting centre. Vitamin c works because it's also been peer reviewed. But do it under proper care and with surgery and chemo if that's what your doctor is open to. Eat fruit and fast by all means. But do it in an integrally informed way rather than joining a cult who thinks they have all the answers. That's what I'm saying
  3. @Raptorsin7 Trust me, when you have figured all this out you will find yourself a lot more present and content. Out of that will come motivation and from motivation will come presence. They feed each other. Just like depression and thinking feed each other, presence and purpose feed each other.
  4. @Raptorsin7 Also, you're being financially supported by your folks (because?) you are studying law. If that's the case then figure out what your values are with regard to taking the support knowing full well you won't be using your degree when you're done. How does this all work for you?
  5. @Nickyy @Raptorsin7 Maybe you can find motivation by reframing your education in light of the fact that it will serve your life purpose. The psychological cost of dropping out and not finishing a path is harsh. It's better to have a clear mind and tie things up sensibly.
  6. @Raptorsin7 How long have you got left? What are the costs of dropping out? What are the costs of staying on? I was the same at high school. I hated it so much that I left at the Easter break and went in solo to finish my exams. It was tough but I'm glad I finished it for my sanity and the fact that it actually opened a lot of doors for me. Yes you don't want to be a lawyer, but finishing school has a lot of benefits that you won't see for a few years. From my view id finish it even if it breaks me. Always end what you start in a positive way is my sincere advice to you.
  7. @SoothedByRain Let's not forget though about Leo's rant against rationality and rant against sciences which now he has to retract in order to really adopt a 2nd tier worldview, because science and rationality play a big part in the big picture. I think leo was going through a green phase at the time trying to understand relativistic thinking but didn't know how to put it all back together. Allopathic is not all bad, it just needs upgrading and integrating with what works from natural medicine.
  8. Lets define this more. See what he thinks? Hmm By that I assume you mean to ask him to suspend his intellectual opinion on the matter and tell you if he thinks you're not 100% coming from your heart. Youre after a congruency screening. He might not intellectually agree with you, but if he's a good friend and an honest guy he will be able to feel that you are being 100% honest with yourself because of your passion. I interview people for my company and this is the quality I look for,non verbal confirmation that it's the only thing they want to do with their lives. Everything else (verbal communication) is prone to self deception This is why a lot of therapies are done in person and not over the phone or Skype
  9. Here is a talk from John gray presenting male female needs from a biological perspective. Ken Wilbers AQAL upper right quadrant. David Deida talks about the same issues from the upper and lower left quadrants.
  10. Ok. But I've seen a lot of life coaches, especially "men's group" wanna be coaches, and they make a lot of errors by basically telling guys what their purpose is as a "man" by telling them that they goal is to make money, to get game hot women, to build muscles, to get a great diet. All the cliche things. This has nothing to do with an individuals purpose, it's about them and their ideas. Surely you have a best friend?
  11. I get it, I really do. It's not other people's opinions you want, it's you want a mirror. Think of it this way. I did a job that I hated three times in a row because in my head I believed that I couldn't do anything else and that I had to pay the bills. Every day my work colleagues knew that I wasn't happy doing this job..it didn't excite me but I didn't even realize that I was unfulfilled. That's the sort of feedback you want. You want to make sure you're not deceiving yourself. People can feel you better than yourself. It's not their opinion, it's their wisdom you want.
  12. This makes no sense whatsoever. What do you mean that there are an infinate amount of facets in creation? It's clear what you are doing . You like something on YouTube and you come on here and parrot it word for word without showing any ability to question it or try to find what's true about it. That to me says you haven't even started to question conventional conditioning. It seems you want to replace one kind of culture with a other without doing the work so that you can feel like you're making progress. I haven't seen you present a single argument on here . All i see is posting teal swan videos and the rankest quack nonsense from the raw food community. Just because something is not mainstream doesn't necessarily make it post conventional. Especially if it makes no sense, people like yourself blindly adhere to conflicting ideologies and cannot see that what it is about a system of thought that has commonality with another system thought and cross reference results in order to find out what is actually true and what is fraudulent . All I've seen so far is blind belief and conformity to new age ideas. The biggest problem is you really don't see how irresponsible you are by spreading this stuff as if it's gospel.
  13. @Raptorsin7 They should be able to feel your passion.
  14. @Raptorsin7 So all of that is what you really want to do? If so then go tell someone close to you and ask them to give you feedback if they feel that it's true for you. If they don't feel it's true then take what they say seriously and keep working on it.
  15. Buddhists go sit in grave yards. Or they have a skull sitting in the retreat centre. Maybe that is a good practice? You soon discover what's really important.
  16. Yeah, its like that. You lose it and then you find it, then you lose it. But are we clear on how to discover life purpose?
  17. @DrewNows I don't adhere to spiral dynamics . I use it as a tool to expand my self concept. How can the transcendence of ideology be a self centered belief? Belief IS ideology. Transcending medical ideologies by integrating different schools of thought to expand Consciousness isn't an ideology or belief. It's a tool for personal and collective growth. Now, if you insist on even talking about yellow and turquoise and all the things you try to associate new age medicine with, then you have to understand what 2nd tier is. You can't really have your own version of it. Having your own version of what it means to be 2nd tier misses the point. Most of us here will agree that 2nd tier is a very specific stage of development. We have decades of research supporting it . 2nd tier people resonate with each others perspectives. It's a thing. Trying to bastardize it is a sneaky way to cherry pick what you want it to be so that you can elevate your quackery to the highest hights
  18. There's nothing to seek You can expand your knowledge and grow up, but you can never become happy through it.
  19. Meditation is an all day affair. I've written 703 posts all saying the same thing from as many angles as I possibly can.
  20. Just because spiral dynamics calls turquoise "holistic" doesn't mean "holistic health" is turquoise. Holistic health is quackery and ideology. Sure it tries to call upon as many ideas as possible to treat people, but it's not really integral because all the theories contradict themselves. It's fragmented rather than integrated. That's why we call 2nd tier integral.
  21. Do you have anything original to say? Why are you just repeating word for word sentences from these raw vegan community people? How about thinking for yourself? A lot of us have trodden your path, just falling for one school of thought. That's how cults are created. Think independently instead of just posting things that you think sound new age just because you feel that they are true.
  22. Bahahahahahahahahahah! I see the truth. I've just told you how to discover it. It's not through Ideologies like acid /alkaline or iridoligy, it's through integrating what is common from different schools of thought that appear to contradict each other.. Ideologies are for first tier thinkers.
  23. Excellent. That's it! When you're in that state you're expressing the truth of who you are, being instead of trying to become something. In that state you know the right job for you, the right friends for you, the right woman for you. And it all comes your way because there is no more conflicts. What intelligent woman wouldn't give their right arm for a guy who is genuinely happy and doesn't need anything to make him happy? That's why attraction and relationships that are successful are based on a guys life purpose. Trustable
  24. Happiness is always the case, it's just covered up with time. Whatever comes out of that freedom is one's life purpose. It may even manifest as an impulse to strip all your clothes off and dance across a dual carriageway lol Whatever life wants from you, that's it ??
