  1. If Leo's style doesn't resonate with you, you don't gotta watch. You def gotta have a certain personality/brain type to appreciate his material.
  2. Absolutely mind-blowing that the author of the fucking spiral dynamics book came to the conclusion that Republicans have better solutions to America's problems than social democrats... Jesus Christ
  3. One Piece Healthy purple/RED
  4. Yes, of course, they will be abused without regulation. I think that the same way you need training and a license to drive a car, you should be required to get training and a license before you can be responsible to take psychedelics.
  5. content vs structure The soviet system packaged itself in socialist skin, but really, if you look at the structure, their level of consciousness, values, and worldviews were more similar to the Tsars than to someone like Noam Chomsky... socialism in the way Marx described is a theoretical post-orange social and economic system.
  6. @DocWatts True. don't get me wrong, I am not negatively judging Aurelius. He was the leading edge of consciousness for his time and is highly respectable for so many reasons. We are standing on his shoulders. It is def not fair to be hypercritical of him without studying him relative to his social context. The larger point of that comment was that it isn't fair to judge stage blue people like John McCain as assholes simply because of militarist and nationalist tendencies. They can't help themselves!
  7. stage blue leadership is going to be nationalistic and ethnocentric. This is a visceral feature of stage blue politics. Look up Aurelius's thoughts on "the barbarians". Even someone as relatively morally exceptional as Aurelius would have used drone strikes against his enemies if he had access to them.
  8. Personally, I appreciate the dashes of edginess and obnoxiousness. That rawness is the kind of shit that really pierces into the depths of your soul. You teach like a mushroom incarnated as a human being. Sometimes harsh, sometimes obnoxious, sometimes brutal, sometimes offensive-- but those qualities clearly come from a place of love and they make the message feel more intense and real. Of course, people sometimes get butthurt and uncomfortable with your teachings the same way they would during a trip. Tough love and truth are hard on the ego... but our work is not about catering to that illusion. It is about shattering it. This is exactly why I would bet that a higher percentage of your regular viewers are more into awakening and serious metaphysics than like any other "mainstream" spiritual guru. With all of this said, I completely get your decision to make some adjustments over image concerns. You gotta expand your reach and cover your bases somehow. Just make sure you don't turn into Matt Kahn EDIT: nothing against Matt Kahn, I love his teachings as well. I don't find his style as useful for deep work though
  9. @Leo Gura lol, does someone centered at stage red even have the capacity to really understand climate change?
  10. sage(noun) 1: one (such as a profound philosopher) distinguished for wisdom 2: a mature or venerable person of sound judgment I want to compile a list of figures who would fit under the category. Especially if y'all have an autobiography or biography suggestions of these sages as well, that'd be awesome. Also, more female sages would be sweet as well.
  11. @Preety_India look, I am just a display name on a screen on some forum site, take what I say with a grain of salt... but based on the energy of your comments, it does seem life there is a level of judgment/resentment against trump himself. He literally has the cognitive development of a 5 year old... he is doing the best he can. I am doing my own shadow work as well and judging conservatives has been something that I am working on. Maybe I am projecting that side of myself a bit... Just tryna be helpful.
  12. @Preety_India there's a diff between hating someone and criticizing their actions/impact on the broader system.
  13. @Preety_India My man is wrong for judging green, so don't get me wrong... Just be aware of who you judge and who you hate. That is your shadow.
  14. lol, crying oneself to sleep is often much healthier than just pushing uncomfortable emotions beneath the surface and allowing them to manifest in neurotic and unconscious behavior. Good luck though my man. Many lessons to learn from all stages!
  15. Be careful about criticizing green too hard... you are going to have to grow into it yourself one day as you continue to do your personal development work.
  16. @Husseinisdoingfine Lol, slow down man. let's go through a soc dem era before we consider hardcore socialism. Public ownership of means of production is prob not going to happen for decades and decades and if it ever happens, it would be actualized through incremental steps.
  17. @The Don People in Trump's administration got booked in the russia investigations https://www.cnbc.com/2020/08/20/steve-bannon-arrest-list-of-trumps-ex-associates-who-have-faced-charges.html We can work to negotiate and make deals that improve the quality of life in china and across the world while simultaneously continuing to improve the American quality of life for our citizens. Trump's paradigm of America being "the best", passing ineffective sanctions on china, destabilizing our economic and social systems, embarrassing our country, ruining diplomatic relationships.... these things are backfiring and will decrease our cultural and economic influence, which paradoxically make the ccp stronger...
  18. @The Don ok... they don't want to expand their communist values. It isn't on their agenda. we can move towards globalized economy and society that is functional and transparent in intelligent ways. Rejecting globalism in the way that trump has is like swimming against the current.
  19. But if you can control your impulsive behavior, wouldn't that make you... not impulsive by definition? Perhaps these 3 leaders were such anomalies that it ain't fair to just use them as examples of the typical stage red leader? idk... Interesting perspective. So you don't think Putin has those blue restraints? I hear you, he def has a lot of red, prob a bit more red than orange... Thing is though, I still feel predominantly blue vibes. You can still be blue and not give a shit about the economy, income inequality, and standard of living of the average joe. Blue prioritizes honor, tradition, order, and military dominance. Just my take. All y'all are smart af though. I appreciate your perspectives.
  20. @DocWatts @Thewritersunion interesting. I am admittedly not too familiar with those leaders' specific strategies and approaches. I guess a large part of how I conceptualize red is the impulsive facet of it. I def see Putin resonating with red in many aspects, but to me, he just seems very patient and level-headed whereas the leaders you mentioned above(based on my limited understanding-- not a history buff), were primarily focused on "Fighting till the end of the world" and "Conquering for the sake of conquering" whereas Putin seems to have a very complex way of thinking and seems very genuinely patriotic (as opposed to Trump's charlatanism). How would y'all distinguish between red strategy and orange strategy and how specifically does putin have a red strategic paradigm as opposed to an orange one?
