  1. The whole point of the site is self actualization. Becoming the absolute best version of yourself. Being more selfless. Becoming psychologically developed. Increasing your capacity to love and have compassion for yourself and for others. I just don't personally feel like trump reflects those.
  2. I guess would or could. Lol, regardless of what leo directly said about trump... just based on everything else I have seen prager u comments.... it is expected to see them there... Just not really on this site. that is why I am curious!!
  3. @Danioover9000 I would say that someone who supports donald trump as a politician and would vote for him qualifies as a trump supporter. And I am asking this forum because I feel like trump is pretty antithetical to the mission of actualized.org and am just curious.
  4. trying to understand where trump people are coming from and what specifically led to people who initially were trump supporters, but changed their mind came from.
  5. hmm, what specific policies?
  6. @giglio Good luck on your journey my friend. <3
  7. @giglio lol, I'mma spell it out: free market libertarian economic approaches won't solve climate change. Without regulation, corporations will not hesitate to destroy the planet they lead to highly inefficient and dysfunctional public health outcomes. Privatized healthcare is a disaster. they lead to crumbling infrastructure due to lack of centralized organization and planning. they lead to a less educated society and thus lower ceiling for both economic and intellectual growth. This is a yellow nightmare. If you can explain how libertarianism can solve these 4 basic problems, I will give you a cookie. All evidence points that the market does not in fact "just take care of itself". Centralized rules, regulations, and organization, if implemented properly, are good for society. it is just a matter of making them efficient.

  9. @giglio lol, maybe you, L. Ron Gardner, Ayn Rand, no Bullshit, and Jordan Peterson are just post-stage coral thinkers.
  10. @giglio so here is how spiral dynamics works: there are no "green people"... there are no "Yellow people". These are shorthands for "the center of gravity of this individuals world views and value systems across many different facets of life is around green". For example: one can be green in interpersonal relationships, blue spiritually, and orange politically. Also, enlightenment can't be mapped on SD you can be an enlightened mystic, have valid spiritual teachings and be blue. You can talk about SD, Ken wilbur, etc and not really understand systems thinking. This dude praising ayn rand, calling obama a "neo marxist", elite establishment puppet, saying jesus would support ron paul... This dude is a text-book example of a blue/orange dude interpreting of stage green.
  11. @giglio http://www.integralworld.net/gardner2.html "I think the last thing Jesus would support is Big Brother and the Nanny State. In fact, I think he would positively rail at the neo-Marxist fascism of Obama and his Democratic brethren. But the Republican politicians—except for Ron Paul and a few others—are no better; in fact, they may be worse because they reek of hypocrisy and thus are wolves in sheep's clothing. Bush Jr. may be the worst president in U.S. history, and he begat Obama, maybe the second worst." "The typical elite, or “chosen,” liberal, such as Barack Obama, Bill Clinton, or Al Gore, is a product of either Harvard or Yale, and as such, is a hubris-filled, left-wing “social engineer” who believes he is uniquely endowed to inject “progressive” socialist programs into the American “bloodstream.” He is a facile pragmatist who thinks he can, like a master chef, combine Marxism, capitalism, and corporatism into an integral brew, and then spread this concoction around the globe in the form of a “New World Order.” " "You've been bamboozled by political bullshit. But you're hardly alone. In fact, in 1970, when I studied Marxism at UCSD under the iconic neo-Marxist professor Herbert Marcuse, I too was led to believe that fascism was a “right-wing” phenomenon, the polar opposite of “left-wing” Marxism. But many years later, when I finally read Ayn Rand, my political “savior,” I learned that fascism, like Marxism, is left-wing, and statist, in nature. In other words, fascism and Marxism are two closely related variants of collectivism. If you're interested in political truth, you must read Rand." ... This is literally a blue/orange understanding of government.
  12. @giglio yessir, yellow looks at all sides, but that video was clearly not a very high quality criticism of green at all. That is analogous to citing a catholic priest's criticism of voltaire. the prob with channels like that is that they conflate sjw culture with Bernie Sanders and green values and don't actually have valid criticisms of the policies of Bernie... this is so misdirected on so many levels. They problem is you are assuming government inherently is corrupt, bureaucratic and wastes money. This is not the case. This is only true within our current system because our government is orange and functions to serve corporations. That is why we need more Bernies. Bernie's whole campaign was about equality of opportunity and government accountability. we need legislation to hold them accountable with how they use our money. Green is the answer to the excesses of orange that we see... not a different flavor of orange(libertarianism). An individual with a stage yellow approach to politics would not be libertarian. It is just an inefficient approach to organizing the economy and it would not help us make sure that everyone has the opportunity to live up to their full potential... which is fundamentally what yellow wants. We need a strong centralized system to make sure everyone has access to a high quality education, to have strong infrastructure, and strong healthcare system. All can be done and all can be done efficiently. The key is accountability and transparency within the government. the corruption only happens in the shadows. In order for that to happen we need to actually change legislation and elect more green people!
  13. Lol, if they seem "crazy", you prob don't understand their perspective very well. In stage yellow, you learn to see both the validity and limitations of all perspectives. that's pretty much the defining characteristic. Stage yellow would not share a no bullshit video unironically.
  14. @giglio We have to go through stage green as a society. Stage green is literally the answer to so many of our problems. Also, not all stage green are sjws. Those are a small minority. Most are peaceful, loving people. Hopefully you figure that out as you grow into stage green -A recovering libertarian who used to watch JP, No Bullshit, and Ben Shapiro own SJWs.
  15. No Bullshit is stage coral. Obviously, the biggest problem in the world is Bernie and the commie SJWs tryna turn the US into Venezuela.
  16. thanks for sharing. this is great
  17. @IJB063 Here's a collection of some thoughts I journaled yesterday regarding the riots: Rioting is not a good thing. It is violent. It is destructive. Don’t get mad at the rioters though. Get mad at the conditions that lead to rioting. What is rioting other than a reflection of social dysfunction? Happy people don’t riot. People who feel a sense of security don’t riot. People who feel like they have the opportunities and resources to pursue a life worth living don’t riot. This isn’t about George Floyd. Floyd’s murder was just the tipping point. The deeper problem is systemic marginalization. We need to collectively use this as an opportunity to reflect. As an opportunity to raise awareness. As an opportunity to create a more compassionate system that is designed to serve and uplift the human spirit. One that recognizes every member of our community as children of God.
  18. @IJB063 I suggest reading the book by Don Beck and Chris Cowen. It is just a model, of course. It has its short comings... That said it is a damn good one. It was originally made by Clare Graves. The model was made with extensive research and met-analysis of many different models of sociological and psychological development. I also suggest watching Leo's conscious politics videos. It provided a lot of insights into spiral dynamics and helped me move more into green back when I was a.... libertarian. Makes me cringe to think about lol. Just generally, I highly suggest questioning literally everything. Question me, question Leo, question Buddha, Jesus, question Terrence McKenna etc. Most important is to challenge your own world views and logical framework. Question your beliefs about the world. Try to seek the truth within every perspective rather than assuming your perspective is automatically right and dismissing perspectives that challenge your own. And to clarify: not all greens are aggressive sjws. They come in all shapes and sizes. But you will at least understand where they are coming from and not judge them as hard as you transition to green and past it.
  19. Thanks for sharing! Beautiful speech
  20. Careful bout judging "The greens"... You're gonna have to become an angry sjw before getting to yellow. lol
  21. @IJB063 lol. I think you are underestimating how important government is for organization of resources on a national scale. yeah, a supermarket could function without gov. A localized road building project probably could to. Could an entire country with nearly half a billion people? nope. Also........ this one always kills me: "taxation is theft".... There is no tenable concept of property/ownership without government defining and enforcing them on behalf of the people. A society like that would almost certainly be reduced to neo-feudalism. You can criticism how stupid and irresponsible the gov is with how they use our taxpayer money. that is one thing... but to imply that this is inherent in any system of gov is just not true. We need to vote better people in who will be accountable and transparent with our money and who will create laws against things like corporate lobbying.
  22. Y'all... this
  23. @Onemanwolfpac lol, you should consider educating yourself on the history and sociology of race in America.
  24. @IJB063 Stage Green. We will see more and more within the next century. The fact that someone like Sanders, who essentially was campaigning on those kinds of reforms, was able to have so much traction makes it pretty clear it is only a matter of time. Right now, the establishment is resisting it, but they are swimming against the current. All systems have inertia, but systems are also constantly changing.
