This is objectively not true. It’s actually normal and common for governments to rapidly shift to and from authoritarian. There are endless examples in history and even recently. I’m not cherry-picking. The conditions and survival pressures as the reason is true, but that shows how the idea it’s because of neurobiology is nonsense, if that was the case it would be consistent, not shifting rapidly as a result of survival pressures.

That’s a specific surgical intervention. It’s not the same as trying to explain what are often rapid shifts in societies based on collective brain changes. Shifts in how we are biologically structured happen slowly over extremely long periods of time.

It’s not as simple as preferences. People adapt to their surroundings and cultures. Studies find people in arranged marriages have equal or greater satisfaction as love marriages for example.

You guys act like women weren’t allowed to work and were all getting forced into marriages until 2010. Women have been free to not get married or in relationships and to work and earn their own income for decades and decades in western countries.

That’s not true at all. Countries that go authoritarian often do so extremely rapidly. For long periods of time most of the world had monarchs who were all authoritarian, that’s no longer the case. Did everyone’s brain structure change? Unlikely. If the distribution is equal there wouldn’t be swings, one would consistently win out and stop the other. Or it’d be a constant switch back and forth as they fight for power.

It’s not happening on a generational basis. Germany rapidly switched from authoritarian to non-authoritarian to authoritarian to non-authoritarian in the span of one generation.

Why are you presuming being low value causes bitterness? Plenty of low value males are happy or don’t blame women and plenty of high value males are deeply bitter towards women.

“Science” like this is extremely unreliable and regularly fails to replicate. That also makes little sense as it implies the amount who support authoritarianism remains constant, which would mean no backsliding would ever happen, the society would either be authoritarian or not be indefinitely.

Seems like nonsense to me. Authoritarianism makes more sense as a result of societal and cultural factors. When countries go from democratic to authoritarian I don’t think it’s because suddenly the public neurobiology changed.

Not necessarily, some examples of objectification are popular. When women say they want men who pay for dates and provide to be given a chance, that is an example of objectification as they are asking to be paid for like one pays for an object.

That’s just one subset of the problem. There is plenty of bitterness from men at all levels of socialization ability. The jaded player is a common trope. Its dismissing a very real and serious phenomenon to say it isn’t a serious thing that low consciousness women mistreat men. A ton of dating culture is just gaslighting men to accept it (this feeds into hurting their ability to socialize). And yes women also get burned by low consciousness men, which is why we have bitter women. It’s not because women don’t know how to attract men by and large.

Then where do all the bitter men come from? They become that way after being tricked or manipulated by women up to divorce.

I would say - delay, distract, throw sand in the gears. Among young people it is largely far left vs far right, whereas older people lean more conservative and this becomes the backbone of support for the far right if they bust through to elections and government. Just delaying things and slowing it down as much as possible can minimize the effect until in 10-20 years when perhaps the situation has changed. - abandon unpopular left positions. Neoliberalism, victim Olympics, reverse racism, misandry, and utopian ideas like defund the police and gender ideology etc. were extremely unpopular to the majority of the public and alienated huge swaths of people. - counter forces in society such as income inequality and atomization which give power to people who enable the far right or undercut organizing of forces that counter them
