@Thought Art Understandable. I can respect that

Did you do the interview? If so, you mention that you have never heard of Leo before but looking at you being here, that's clearly not the case? -
Yea, but they lean towards the concept of "existential love" and "you are a creator" more

I understand what you are trying to point to, however, I would argue that there are indicators or interpretations of certain aspects of reality that one uses to make a certain judgement. (you could argue here that if one removes all interpretations, god would remain, which I can be open to but channeling god himself is what I'm skeptical about) For instance, I know I got a pee because of an interpretation of a certain sensation in my lower body. Sometimes my interpretation of sensations is misleading as well. For example, cravings. There was a certain sensation in my body that I always interpreted as a food craving. everytime I ate, it went away for a short time only to come back. I sat down and questioned my interpretations of it and turns out I was biased to interpret that way. I liked eating because those overwhelmed my senses to a point to overtake the other "craving"

Hmm, if I have to summarize Truth vs Falsehood and ways to distinguish truth from falsehood. Falsehood is biases that cosplays as truth. Since falsehood acts as an overlay on top of truth, like wearing rose coloured glasses, the idea is to remove the glasses rather than searching the answer in the rose colored world Now, all of them have different ways to go about removing the glasses (this is where the concept of letting go comes in) After you removed all the glasses you were wearing that color your perspective, you get Truth/Love/God/Nothingness/Emptiness etc etc that's about what everyone is doing in this work

Ohh, I did read your notes which you posted on your blog long time ago Very interesting concept. I still don't quite understand how you are channelling god himself, and even if you did, how would you know it's god? Like does it feel different?
-
This is where you lose me since I haven't experienced the experience you are pointing to
-
@Leo Gura Isn't god channeling us? ?
-
@Girzo Yea, I know. I read his book, meh I put it down after a few pages. For the longest time, I thought whatever about Bahar till I met other people who were channeling like elan and Emmanuel. Channeled by different people. If it was something that only he could do, then that would be a good argument, but no. I liked his interview as well. I really like the name tho, Buddha at the gas pump

The difference is I'm not listing YouTubers on steroids Look, I COMPLETELY understand your perspective. I mean it doesn't really matter if you believe he's not and I believe he is (maybe?), the self-help stuff is still going to work and the wisdom is presented in a way that is entertaining. Do I know he's an alien? No However, I would strongly disagree on closing the possibility that he is. That's all. Does this shit matter at the end of the day? No The thing is, I'm not going to close the possibility because of some human assumptions until I personally understand the mechanism of channelling in a way where it doesn't involve sprits and aliens

Wait, Santa is not real? Then who was leaving the gifts under the tree? Oh wait, I'm not a Christian and that sadly never happened to me
-
@Blackhawk Okay. I understand your concern. I am open to the possibility that he is not an alien getting channelled, but I am also open to the possibility that he might be. Now, I am not suggesting buying any theories on blind faith, I have spent literally over 40 hrs listening to that guy and other channels like Elan and Emmanual (you would know him if you are familiar with Ram Dass) and they all say the same thing. Including Leo and other spiritual people like - Jiddu Krishnamurthi - Alan Watts - Terrance McKenna - Sri Ramana Maharshi - Peter - Ram Dass - Fred Davis - The zen people - Abraham hicks who literally started the movement of Law of attraction etc. The weird part is all of them say the same thing in different ways throughout time. That's crazy. Most of the information Bashar and others give seems to work in reality (the self help part) Even Terrance Mckenna said if an alien were to come to visit a planet in peace, it wouldn't do it by coming in UFO, probably will slowly introduce itself to the culture through other means like plants (if you know what I mean) For me, it makes more sense to be open to the possibility than closed to it

old enough to smell a human bias Age is a pretty common bias that humans use to judge another human's bias If a collective agreement is a metric you use to distinguish truth from falsehood, I understand why you would resort to a question like that.

Ahaha, Aliens be our new drug dealer. Then Leo will become our Rick and we all would be the morties. Waba laba dub dub
-
Damn, I find this immensely fascinating It's like ego is almost a filter. UFO people have UFO porn bias which filters the possibility of consciousness work. Damn, where am I doing this in life to that extent? and what would it take me to open my mind? I don't really know how open-mindedness works
-
@Seraphim Oh ho! Understandable. I am quite familiar with other channels and what you said here makes sense. I remember bob's video on Joe's podcast. Was like wow If they feel they have more reliable information then I could understand that.
-
But I am also pondering what Leo mentioned before Is it really true that if EVEN if an alien comes and talks about love, people would be like nah, Imma look for alien tech and government politics Seems too crazy? because if you are not pursuing truth (which would require you to be at least open-minded to this kind of stuff? I mean what's there to lose?) and you are pursuing alien tech (understandable) then what are the UFO people really seeking? I don't really know?
-
Yea, I understand. But how are UFO people not into him tho? Even tho he's well known? I don't get that? I would expect them to jump at this opportunity and interview him blah blah blah ya know? but no one in the UFO community really cares? It's bizzar
-
The state of consciousness is not human? I mean that is a judgment I made after watching his lectures?
-
@SriSriJustinBieber AHAHAH
-
well, he's not a human?
-
I find it unlikely. There is another channel called ELAN who's also for his race? have similar vocab? kinda crazy + for the spontaneous responses from bashar? also, the kind of stuff he shares, you need to have a lot of spiritual work behind your belt? I don't know man, I'm skeptical but also open to the possibility

Been watching the podcast which is very entertaining (didn't expect to sit through 5 hrs of it haha) I see how people are objecting to the notion that you are God. In our culture, god is treated as a noun. rather than that, if you think of it as a verb and try to find that, things stated making sense to me. It's a pointer pointing at a happening without any stories Now, that's what I'm aiming towards right now and trying to distinguish my biases and i found one that I thought would share
