  1. Be realistic but still make it a challenge. Look at your past, what have you achieved realistically before => make it a bit more difficult If you think you can achieve a goal realistically and comfortably in 10 days => set your deadline at 8 days Once you have decided on a deadline, stick to it, make it real, and write it down somewhere where you see it daily. I'd set deadlines anywhere up to 3 months, above that it gets too abstract imo
  2. 1. Write a list of things you want to achieve 2. Order the list by priority 3. Select the Top 3 things you want to achieve and create clear daily Habits and action steps that will help you achieve your goal. example: I want to get fit I need to fix my Diet Research Healthy foods and meals that I like Buy those groceries Do Meal Prep I need to workout Get A Gym Membership Find a Workout Plan Work out 3 times a week 4. Download a Todo list App (Todoist is great - Make sure to pin it as a widget to your home screen) or write your action steps in your calendar 5. Follow through and don't give up. If you don't give up, you'll succeed no matter what General points: Have a specific time period when you do your "distracting" activities, don't mix it with the time period when you have to do your work. Set a Timer when doing Tasks you feel resistant to. "I'll spend 30 mins replying to customer E-mails" or "I'll spend 30 mins doing my math homework", sometimes it's better to just spend time on the task than worry about completion. Put your phone away and close tabs that you don't need. Notice where you get distracted and minimize that risk. Notice your distraction patterns and cut them off. Start with small and easy tasks. Start ridiculously easy if necessary: I'll read 1 Page every day. => still better than nothing and helps you build the habit. It's best to do the work first. Check things off your to-do list as soon as you wake up and brushed your teeth or as soon as you come home from work. Leisure time comes after that. Set Clear goals and deadlines. => I want to lose 5kg by the 1st of Dec.
  3. Brother, I said billionaires should pay their fair share of taxes and pay their workers and you counter that with "They had systems like that in the USSR and DPRK" ? Come on.
  4. I rather have an imperfect left in power than a demonic right. That's why I care about winning. Understanding has its importance, but not at the cost of letting Psychos rule the world. I'd worry about that when we get close to actually having a fair society. It doesn't seem like, the U.S for example. is anywhere near that. Who gets to decide what is fair? Society, Politicians, etc. fairness is a fluid concept that shifts and changes with society. "Who gets to decide" implies that there is no perfect answer. Correct, there isn't. But there are certainly societies that have created greater equality and "fairness" than others. We don't need perfect answers, we just need better ones. There's no need to have the perfect ultimate answers right now. The fact of the matter is, workers get exploited and a few people at the top own more than small nation-states. I will worry about Jeff being treated unfairly once his workers get compensated for their work and once he pays his fair share of taxes. I'd hope people would agree with me because they share my radical far-left values of humanity and fair compensation.
  5. That was pretty much my point and I think @spiritual memes tried to say something similar. It seems like you were arguing against that in the comment I initially responded to. Sure, not everyone can be Einstein, but factors like wealth, security, and education have a profound impact on each individual's development. Take the average person from any rich European country and the average person from any developing country and I doubt you'll disagree that the differences will be immense. Not everyone has to be superman but as your video suggests, environmental factors have a profound impact on humans. From my understanding, leftists (obviously this is a broad term and encompasses all kinds of ideologies) generally try to enable individuals to reach their full potential by establishing systems that allow for greater freedom and prosperity for the average person. I don't see a lot of leftists arguing, that each person is exactly the same and that their economic output is exactly the same. This seems like a strawman to me.
  6. @bmcnicho I agree with you He's doing it again. I feel like Leo has a lot of leftover residual self-help / PUA brain. If you put someone with outstanding genetics into an abusive household with a shit education system, it is extremely likely that this person will grow up to be quite mediocre or worse. This is just sociology 101. I seems like a lot of his takes are based on "it kinda feels right to me". And then as a defense against other ideas he uses the "I'm beyond science" or "I'm arguing from tier 2" as if this makes you invincible against critique. I also feel like his representation of socialism is quite myopic and reading a couple of books on the topic would fix most of that. Overall I still think the left deserves a lot of critique, however, I wonder where the utility is right now. If you look at history, there are hundreds of examples where leftists criticize each other endlessly, refusing to collaborate because of differing world views and thus letting the right win which worsened millions of lives.
  7. Awesome bro, you seem to have a great frame, I bet some more muscle would fit your body type quite well. Couple of questions: What are your goals? Is it just general fitness or..? How often are you planning to work out each week? Are you planning to do the same exact workout every time? How do you plan on progressively overloading?
  8. The only things worth mentioning are imo: Good sleep Good unprocessed food Getting fit Decreased stress and negativity Goals Leave your home and meet people Also, why do you worry about your T levels so much? Unless your T levels are below average, you are good. Focus on actually doing shit. But hey, if you want to drink raw eggs and freeze your balls, you go alpha.
  9. Here is one https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/19524224/
  10. Half of the stuff you mentioned is bs and has no scientific backing. Most of the rest has so little impact that it isn't even worth mentioning.
  11. Look for communities that share your interest. Group workouts, Martial arts, book clubs, Meditation groups... you name it. And then just talk to people, exchange numbers, get invited to parties etc. Also, try dating and meet up with your date's friends when the opportunity arises. It's really not rocket science, nobody expects you to be the perfect social specimen, no one really is. It might sound uncomfortable, but that's what self-development is about, right? Push your comfort zone
  12. @Thought Art Ken commented that it was great for a person at an orange stage of development
  13. Working out, learning, making progress, alone time, and relaxing after a productive day What kind of art do you do?
  14. wdym? He's a conservative. Every conservative I've seen has been shilling for the monarchy.
  15. The problem with doing this is, that you'll let the right-wing dictate your way of thinking. Instead of generating independent thoughts, you'll think in their pre-made categories. I'd also encourage you to do some research on the term libertarianism. There are right-libs, left-lib, lib socialists, neo-libs, etc. It's a pretty loaded term and I get the feeling that you don't fully grasp the meaning.
  16. @Aaron p Are you aware that you are just repeating right-wing talking points? Stop consuming right-wing media. And stop pretending that any of those questions have significant impact on you or society at large. Instead, try reading a book on politics. Try to understand patterns that have an actual significant impact on society and you, like the wealth gap, workers' rights, democracy, women's rights, etc. Don't get caught up in all that culture war bs, it's a distraction from the real issues. The right will try real hard to look for the most extreme examples of "cultural degeneracy" to distract you from the injustices you face. Consider the idea that some issues require a degree of empathy and complexity of thought that you do not yet possess.
  17. Thank you @Leo Gura Imo you've been way too lenient.
  18. Maybe some Indie movie, didn't think of anything in particular though it's just that the colors are so vibrant and it's not a selfie. + the fact that you have Joseph in your name, but you're a girl .. but I guess it's the abbreviation of Josephine then
  19. @RendHeaven I took the bait you are quite charasmatic! @cjoseph90 I thought your profile pic was a screenshot from some movie at first
