  1. Exactly!! If his logic serves his ego, I have no problem with that. My question is, how is the ego of so many people getting served by his logic?! I don't need it to serve my ego, I'm trying to understand the appeal. Do people get starry-eyed by the word-salad and look up to him as a 'learned scholar' cuz he knows so many big words? What is it?!
  2. Saying 'UBI is bad' because 'Post-modern maximists don't understand the way foxes hunt for water' doesn't count as logic.
  3. I'm not saying I don't like his logic. I'm unable to find the logic in what he says! Where is it? Let me find it first, then I'll decide whether I like it or not. The fact that everyone seems to be understanding the words of what he says makes me feel insane tbh.
  4. A few points I observed: He comes across as confident. This makes it hard for people to call out his bluff. He comes across as authentic, even though he has no ability to critically think and reason, which is typical of Stage Blue. This is why people who don't really listen to what he's saying can get carried away. It can come across as motivational and 'backed by facts', if you have no ability to think critically, logically or conceptually. Someone who listens to the logic will pick it apart in minutes. Essentially, it's like a cult-following. I don't want to judge, but I haven't found clear reasonable explanations about what the appeal really is about! It's an honest question. My mind is fishing for reasons right now if you catch my drift.
  5. What different spiral stages value understanding about: Blue: Does not value understanding anything. Thinks that it has it all figured out, their ancestors/religious prophets/leaders figured it all out and there is nothing for me to figure out. We have no reason to reinvent the wheel when they have created it for us. Orange: Values understanding only about its own personal goals and how to achieve them. They will value learning useful skills, logical thinking, rational thinking, conceptualization, valuable information, goal-oriented thinking/self-help as long as it is pragmatic and helps them achieve their goals. Green: Values understanding about the wider world in general. Values understanding other people and their struggles. Yellow: Values understanding anything and everything. Yellow people are the ones who will want to grind down the details of everything and really question stuff for the sake of it. They will have completely self-constructed revamped mental models/worldviews based on their own best research. They will value having a map that resembles the territory as much as possible. This is very important to understand when communicating with different stages. For example, sometimes I make the mistake of telling Stage Blue people something that's nuanced and detailed. What happens is that their mind cherry-picks the details that fit their worldview, and leave out the rest of the message! They are picking out what they value out of it, and the way they do it suggests that they value keeping their mind closed. How much they value clear communication, whether or not they will make an effort to close the semantic gaps in communication entirely depends on their spiral stage. The higher up on the spiral the individual is, the more they will value clarity in communication. Tier 1 generally only understands stuff that go through their filters and nothing more. Their mind will literally ignore stuff that isn't a part of their worldview. This is often why you see them hanging out with their set ideological tribe. It is only at Tier 2 do we really get people seeking out different perspectives and really communicating properly!
  6. When I talk about morality here, I'm primarily talking about the 'should' beliefs. Attitudes of the different Spiral Stages towards morality: Blue: Morality is absolute, i.e. there are absolute rules that you should follow. My parents/religion/civilization say that you should/shouldn't do certain things and it is my duty as a good kid/person/citizen to follow these rules. There are systems of collective survival in place in my family/country/religion/civilization. They work only if everyone follows the one right morality. If someone breaks the moral rules, they should be punished by the authority governing the collective accordingly. Orange: Morality is an idea that society constructed to limit me from achieving my personal goals. It is for people who don't want to take responsibility for their lives and instead want to be coddled by their religion/guru/priest/civilization/family. Morality works only because it is conditioned into people. There are no absolute 'shoulds' and the more people realize this, the more economic development we'll see. Morality is not needed at all. Nature works according to the Darwinian principle of 'survival of the fittest' and this will be the case whether you follow a morality or not! It is a waste of time/energy/resources to follow morality and it can cut down on my efficiency/productivity. The people who conditioned us to follow their morality did so for their materialistic interests. Religion is hyper-materialistic and the religious sheeple don't get this. They're kept busy following their morality and 'have-to' beliefs so that the authority above can suck them dry of their resources. Good for me, cuz that means less competition for me! The morality of my society is like a giant web of beliefs that set the rules of my playing field when I chase success. I will play by these social rules to win, but I will break them if I can get away with it. Morality is for people who can't let loose and enjoy life. Now that I've broken free of my morality, I can go out, drink, smoke, do drugs, sleep around, eat junk food, entertain myself and have a swell time! Green: Morality is relative and chosen. I have a different definition of morality than the next person. My rules of what you should do can differ from the next person and I have no problems with that. However, for me to trust you, we must have a certain common moral ground. Religion/family/other Blue institutions indoctrinated us with their absolute morality cuz they wanted to oppress us/control us to be good people in an absolute sense. They did this for their selfish interests and we need to educate more people about this. At best, it was a failed attempt at creating as good a morality as they could. Morality is important for collective survival, i.e. it is important for collectives to have a moral compass guiding their relationships and attitudes towards the world. If we don't have a moral compass, we end up being narcissistic, ego-driven and end up hurting each other. Having a morality must necessarily mean I demonize a certain group of people and call them evil. These people are the ones opposing my dreams for a oneness-based conscious utopia where humans live in communion with nature. They are unconscious of their impact on the wider world and they will end up destroying the planet if we don't stop them and demonize them! Points about this: At Green, you care about being a socially responsible citizen. But, because you're unconscious, you feel like you need a moral compass based on which you define 'socially responsible'. When you reach Turquoise though, you realize that everyone around you is a part of you. Now, you don't need a moral compass to help you be socially responsible, you will individually be completely free of morality! Morality, by definition, involves commitments to not hurt the people you're with in a certain way. When people agree on moral rules, it's generally considered a 'fair morality'. For example, it's considered a 'fair deal' to say : I commit to not hitting you, you commit to not hitting me. Different stages disagree on what's fair vs unfair. For example, what's fair for Blue is unfair for Green in a lot of cases. I think collective egos need to have a common definition of morality in order to co-exist in an orderly (not necessarily peaceful) way. It is important for us to feel that the other person is being fair with us in order to trust them, and we're able to agree on fairness when we follow the same rules. Now whether the rules are indoctrinated into you, or you came together because you agreed on your self-created moralities is a separate conversation. My proposal for a more conscious way of looking at morality: A deal is an agreement/arrangement in which all parties make certain commitments to the collective. Deals happen according to systems of collective survival. Morality is a deal that a collective agrees to in order to peacefully co-exist in an orderly manner. If you individually don't honor your moral commitment to the collective, you will be liable to action that the collective takes against you. A problem with morality today is that we're indoctrinated into it, i.e. we don't consciously commit to it. Very few people develop to Green and actually choose their morality. The more we develop to Green, the more we choose our morality, the more willing we will be to honor our conscious moral commitments to our communities. This is a wild level of democracy that we can only imagine at the moment!
  7. Doing consciousness work itself is it's own research work. You will get insights relative to whatever you want to learn about! All you need is open-mindedness. The more conscious you are, the more important/useful your opinion/perspective becomes to the world, the higher the likelihood you'll be recognized as an expert and make money that way.
  8. Looks like Stage Orange to me! I've been there and I know what it's like. Some of the most productive years of my life. Learned lots of new skills till I was full of knowledge to the gills. It's all about growth for growth's sake. There can be a lot of mental creativity too, where you're coming up with lots of brilliant new ideas to solve technical problems that have never been solved before! Pushing your comfort zone, being adventurous and aiming high is all very healthy Stage Orange. We tend to make the mistake of thinking that Life Purpose happens at Green or above, but really it can happen at Blue and above. The concept of life purpose, i.e. contributing something to the community is first conceptualized of at Blue. Stage Orange life purpose would look like starting a big tech company, being a cutting edge scientist, being innovative in science/technology fields, creating infrastructure that solves material problems of under-developed parts of the world, etc.
  9. This right here is a bit of a red flag. You will not feel 100% fulfilled with this job. You are absolutely right to desire something better! The question is though : What do you want to offer the world? If I were in your place, I'd do some soul-searching into: which industry do I care about how can I create something that is really of value to them what change I'd like to see in the world, what would I want to contribute to the world what kind of social power do I want, where do I want to take the lead. This I'd do according to my strengths. taking ownership of professional relationships and stepping into my power in the professional context. You get wage-slavery when you have a boss telling you what to do, and you blindly follow their orders, i.e. the kind of relationship is a slave-master relationship. I'd really work on shifting that, stepping into professional autonomy and being the one who takes the lead. Taking the lead means striking up the deal yourself, i.e. saying : 'Hi! This is what I'm offering. If you want it, sign on the cross here.' For this, you will have to get into their shoes and understand what they need from you. If you're willing to meet their need out of your own volition, then you're not in wage-slavery and you're in the right job! If you're not, then it's an incompatible relationship and you may need to find yourself in the context of professional relationships. This is what searching for a life purpose actually means.
  10. @Milos Uzelac @Preety_India @GodDesireOnlyLove Thanks for your comments! Out of curiosity, what value do you think I can offer with my writing? What value do you receive from it? I need some reflection on that! Tbh I don't quite know about Coral.
  11. Leadership styles on the spiral stages: 1. Blue: Authoritarian leadership who just gives orders. Everyone is hyper-identified with their role in the system, worships the authority commanding them and is very very concerned with ‘doing their job right’. People are concerned with doing the duty of the position they occupy in the system and not really think too much about a bigger picture. If someone messes up, there will be a massive blame-game. If a person below messes up, they’ll be punished by the authority above accordingly and if a person above messes up, there will be protests and demands to hold people above accountable for not doing their duty well. Differences between Blue vs Orange – At Blue, the system isn’t really goal-oriented or productivity oriented, it’s just a system of collective material survival like the DMV, court system, army/police, etc. There’s just duties to be done/rules to be followed whereas in Orange, there’s more emphasis on teamwork and collective goal-oriented thinking. 2. Orange: Alpha-male dominating, ambitious leadership that’s all about productivity. The system has a collective goal which is typically a personal goal of the leader, and recruitments of people happen according to skill, capability and fire to achieve. The organization values qualities like efficiency in productivity, time-management, teamwork, ability to strategize, mental creativity and rational mind skills. Wage-slavery is a pretty common situation in such organizations, with the boss not really caring about the fact that the employee feels like a wage-slave. Again, not much thought being put into the bigger picture, except that we now refer to the collective as a ‘team focused on a common goal’ so there’s a sense of collective goal-orientedness. Examples are big corporations which are all about making profits. Internal culture of the organization would be full of entertainment, materialism, partying, etc. Differences between Orange vs Green – At Orange the organization is narcissistic and is concerned only about it’s own individual material gain. This is reflective of the leader, who treats everyone as a cog in the machine they created for achievement of their own goals. At Green though, the system is set up to contribute value to the world. The organization here doesn’t act like a narcissist, it acts in a socially, environmentally responsible manner. 3. Green: Compassionate leader who, as part of their life purpose, creates the organization to contribute something meaningful to society. The system has a collective goal, but this time it’s not self-centred, it’s to create social change that would raise the consciousness of humanity. Recruitment would happen based not only on skills and capability, there will also be an evaluation of whether the individual’s life purpose aligns with working at the organization or not! (I’ve been rejected at Green organizations because my life purpose didn’t align with working there!) Very relationship-oriented organization with an internal culture that has Stage Green values. Points about this: If you want to create a Stage Green organization or be a Stage Green leader, you'll need elements of the lower stages too. For example, company policies/ethics rules in companies are Blue systems in a primarily Orange organization. In a Green organization, for it to really work, you'll need Blue and Orange systems with likewise leadership. Some dysfunctional Green organizations may try to do away entirely with hierarchy, which doesn't practically work as you need a leader who takes the initiative, gives orders and gets things going. You can have the best systems in place, but they do their job only if they have a leader. The leader is the life-blood of the system, the one who creates and directs the flow of energy in the organization. You can be a Stage Turquoise person in general and have a Stage Blue leadership style! For example, Sadhguru. Leadership is a very specific relationship quality and it could have nothing to do with your overall stage on the spiral. I don't know what leadership would look like at Tier 2, cuz as far as I know, Tier 2 is about being whereas leadership is a worldly thing. I'm not 100% sure on this, but I think that all collective activity can be summed up into Tier 1, whereas Tier 2 is more of the state of the individual. I don't know of whole organizations on Tier 2 tbh cuz Tier 2 individuals are pretty rare. I don't know what Tier 2 leadership style would look like. As far as I can see, every individual Tier 2 mind is so unique, that it would be difficult to draw trends in leadership styles at those stages. Also, it would be important for an organization to be very pragmatic in how it wants to manage relationships between roles, and keep relationship definitions simple so that they're manageable and not too complicated. Tier 1 does a good enough job at that for the time being. Feel free to add your analysis on this!
  12. When I met hippies for the first time. I loved their presence so much that my rationalist paradigm started to crumble! That's when I really started to question the world.
  13. This isn't true. The reality is, good professional/financial relationships is the key to success.
  14. Another point to this : This is linked with the societal definition of a 'real man'. This definition is 'A man is defined by what he does, not who he is. If you work hard, you're a hard-working, good, honest man. If you don't work hard and lazily sit around, you're an incompetent man-child!' The reason for having this definition is that traditional society values hard-working, productive, morally honest men, but doesn't really have the money to pay them. So, they link it to approval/moral standing. Now of course, our society has been built by men for men, that's why the norm. Also, money is linked to greed, like 'The most moral thing to do is to humbly work according to what your authority says and not ask for raises, not be greedy for money. Chasing money is a corruption of the mind!'
  15. Hey Leo! Very interesting awakening experiences. I have something relevant to share with you about your void sucking you in experience. I was in a depressed, suicidal state in early 2019. It felt like I was going to die. That's when I got the bright idea of doing self-enquiry. As I did self-enquiry, I started to have instant awakening experiences, ego-death experiences. This was a 2-3 month period of my life when I was watching your enlightenment videos. I had a lot of experiences where I was called to completely surrender to immediate experiences of suffering and clinging to my body. There was a distinct set of experiences where I felt a void in my chest, that was sucking my soul in. I knew that jumping into that void could mean my death. I jumped anyway. Turns out, instead of dying I awakened some more! There was a deeper layer of jumping into the void. I did it again. Same thing. A good metaphor would be the movie Inception where they wake up from the layers of dreams, dying in their dream and waking up to a new layer. Then, after 3-4 layers of this, as I was preparing to make the next jump, suddenly I get called to stop doing that. The reason I get, is that self-enquiry ceased to be the most effective tool for my awakening! The intuitive message was 'You are connected to the universe. Universally speaking, following your intuition would be the surefire quickest most efficient way for you to awaken, even more than self-enquiry! You could be using self-enquiry to cope with the dysfunction of your life. The way for you to awaken further is to live your life.' That's when I decided to commit to life. If I were your guru, maybe I'd tell you to take your jump into the void (Now I'm not your guru so don't hold this against me!). Maybe you were called to surrender your body to Infinite Love. Now there's a big assumption our mind likes to make, is that if we surrender our body we will die. The reality is, you don't know this until you make the jump. Maybe you'll die, maybe you won't. But if this is what you're Universally called to do and you don't do it, my experience says that the void will continue to haunt you. You'll get another opportunity to jump. If you don't, you'll get another opportunity. This will keep happening until you do it! Curious to hear your perspective on this! Edit : I am NOT telling you to kill yourself. I am going by what you said in the video, that you felt called to surrender completely to Infinite Love.
  16. I don't particularly have examples of such a person, but if I were to imagine/visualize someone, this is how they'd be : They'd have an integrative holistic perspective which takes all governed perspectives into account. They'd have an understanding of how collective ego works, how to create lasting social change. This they'd have by educating themselves on it by experience, trial and error. It's a very detailed and nuanced area where endless research can be done. They'd be doing pioneering work in this area. They'd be a competent leader. Only then will they be able to take all perspectives into account. A leader has to be in control of the narrative (by definition) but a Tier 2 leader's narrative would be nuanced and elaborate enough to include the perspectives of the governed. For this, the governed would have to be vulnerable and trusting enough of the leader. They'd be driven by contribution to the masses as opposed to pure selfish gain. Their eyes would open to the pros and cons of the current system, pros and cons of the next system. This would help them make informed, nuanced, complex decisions when it comes to creating social change and heading millions of people towards further evolution. Feel free to add to these points!
  17. We don't need con-artists to fool the government/law-enforcement for corruption to happen! It's all out in the open and everyone's chill about it. Indian politics is partly Stage Red because of this. It's more about power-worshipping than actually bringing the big-wigs to justice. I get what you're saying though. Having him in America can be pretty regressive.
  18. Oh you really think India hasn't had Stage Red leaders?! There are people here who'll leave Trump in the fucking dust when it comes to Stage Red rhetoric . We're extremely lucky in the past few years to have a Blue/Orange leader in Modi. India didn't have an international face before that! I don't know what happens once he's gone tbh.
  19. I seriously hope this happens fast, i.e. in my lifetime! India has it's own religious reasons to worry about COVID spread.
  20. I just realized something : Our rational minds are hardwired to chase material success in some way, shape or form. The rational minds of each and every one of us measures success in some sort of metric like money, status, fame, physical strength, etc. This is what my rational mind equates to success : Solving technically difficult problems, i.e. the solutions to them would count as material success. The more dots I connect, the more I realize that this is what my rational mind has been doing my whole life. What is it for you?
  21. Ah okay. There's a semantic gap. You're talking about rationalism, which is a materialistic science-based Darwinian ideology. I'm talking about the rational mind which is hardwired into humans. I respect that. You may have to switch cultures to find like-minded people though. It can be very rewarding if you're able to do that!
  22. My point here is that individual success/achievement is a much broader notion than material success, i.e. money, status, fame, physical strength, etc. Each individual's rational mind defines success differently. For example, your rational mind may define success as achieving mental clarity. For me, it's problem-solving. For someone else, it could be getting good at carpentry and creating artistic furniture. For someone else, it could be social climbing and getting the biggest contacts. Technically speaking, the rational mind has nothing to do with having a higher calling/life purpose. It's all about pragmatism, mental creativity, goal-oriented thinking, strategizing, analysis, critical thinking, getting better with practice, acquiring strength/power, moving forward. Now, you can use this in a selfish, egotistical, narcissistic, hedonistic manner such that all you care about is personal achievement and winning. Or, you could also awaken to the reality that winning isn't everything, which is where your quest for a life purpose begins! This is where all your strength/skills can be repurposed and redirected. Having said that, I still believe that humans are hardwired to seek more strength, success, achievement. The reason is that we have egos, which are insatiable by definition. Your quest for a life purpose will involve a different kind of enquiry, like what are your highest values, what kind of life do you want, what do you want to contribute to society, what kind of professional relationships do you want, etc. This is more of a vulnerable, heart-centered endeavor. Your rational mind will still be there with its tools and strengths, waiting to be repurposed! Your rational mind will have unique strengths/priorities. According to that, you will have your own pragmatic ideas/insights relative to your goals. What does your rational mind prioritize?
  23. The problem with porn is objectification. If there's objectification going on, it primes men to not respect women. This is a very subtle energetic thing where if you feel the dynamic, you'll realize whether it's an objectifying dynamic or not. A woman can be fully nude and come across as sexually empowered and respectable. Likewise, she can be fully covered and come across as a sexual object. This is relative to the specifics of the situation like her own attitude towards sexuality in general, the culture of the country, etc. Being objectified is a dangerous situation for a woman as it can attract men who don't respect you.
