Semen retention is useless to me as I discharge while sleeping every week or two -
Maybe, do you have any good source on optimal technique?

Wtf are you talking about? I meant 20mg freebase oil pipe. That’s how I did it. The guy in question wasn’t even close to breaking through.
-
Lol. You should do more. 20mg. 3 hits. No less. The first hit opens up your system. Your heart will race and you’ll need to surrender. Then you’ll enter the stillness. But that’s nothing yet. You need to take another hit. It will crank everything up again. More heartracing. Now you’ll really start feeling it. Surrender again. And just when you’re certain this is it, you’ve broken through, no, you need to take that 3rd hit. Only then will you understand.

I would describe it more as a total and absolute boundary-lessness

I understand what you mean but I know him personally and yeah he’s legit. Besides, we’re just discussing. No belief needed. I’m only saying what he told me. I myself don’t know. It’s not like I’m staking my life on it. -

Same here, and agreed. Apparently he can zoom in and out, or something. I don’t know. Yeah, I smoked 20mg just the other day and all semblance of a life & any kind of functioning was gone. -

Yes. I was in a very pessimistic and chemically depleted mood yesterday, so I actually retract my statement. Of course it changes things. Thinking back to my first trips, it certainly transformed perspective for good. And sometimes progress in baseline is subtle and hard to detect without an immediate comparison. Perhaps what I mean is, the absolute boundarylessness, infinity, unity, construction of reality was always the case and continues to be the case. The main benefit I think is seeing that normal every day is also IT. Energetic purification is of course also an axis of development. Coming down from a breakthrough I feel unimaginably relaxed, loose, empty. My breath is free and my voice is half an octave deeper. As the subconscious reconstructs the body constricts and tenses up again. I have more work to do there. Side note: Frank Yang told me his every day is on the level of a 5-MeO breakthrough (which he has experienced). Take that as you will. Compared to him I’m still a chump. -

Addicted to having yourself and your entire life structure violently broken down? Unlikely. But try it out. -

Eh. Tad melodramatic. Yes 5-MeO awakening is insane. Yes all my awakenings prior were baby shit. But after coming down absolutely nothing changes tbh -

You're the one reifying Brahman boyo Gotta love it, coming in hot with the self-assured "careful not to.." when really you just got stuck on a stage, trying to school boys who've moved past it. -
For sure, and I appreciate the check. I’d say by nature of typing away on a discussion forum we’re “shooting the shit”. Disclaimers should be redundant, no? For fun, here’s my perspective: What I wanted to express: calling for more nuance and agreement on the term “enlightenment” for the benefit of fruitful discussion on this topic. Landed in the void. What I get: Leo singleing out one-liners with a hard “That is wrong.”, and then you swooping in with the consciousness high ground of pointing out inevitable paradox and hypocrisy, again on a one-liner. I think atleast put some skin in the game and contribute with your own opinion, that’s only fair Or take what I say a bit more holistically. My response in the future to avoid this predicament: “four pounds of flax!“

hey, why am only I called out :=(

awakened, not fully Enlightened. Why are you still not acknowledging degrees and stages here when you do everywhere else? Coming from Mr. “there’s more, there’s more!”, this is an uncharacteristically unnuanced and absolute stance. agree to disagree then ??♂️
-
It doesn’t have to be changing the content, simply seeing the content for what it is, this is no idealization at all but rather the absolute minimum for enlightenment. I’d be surprised if there’s a disagreement here. Enlightened people can continue to do stupid shit, the question is if they subscribe truth to their stupid shit or not. If people are still subscribing to beliefs like they are True, they’re not fully (FULLY) enlightened. It has nothing to do with moral perfection. Said differently, I am saying if the Buddha was a bigot, and he took his own bigotry seriously (!), he was not a full Buddha, simple. You said it yourself, love for all people of different kinds is the best measure for a good mystic. Now you’re backtracking and saying you can be fully enlightened but still hate because content is just content (I know, that’s the point!!) to refute the moral perfection idealization I didn’t actually make.

Adyashanti had an emotional, passionate talk on racism and BLM just a couple weeks ago, you can find it on his Youtube. Plus again, deconstructed worldview is equivalent to or atleast part of high spiral development, so if what you were saying were true, this would be speaking for their spiral development. Again, you keep projecting and assuming all kinds of things about these teachers, placing them on the spiral according to the culture they came from and how lovey vs aggressive they teach. This is flawed. I’d argue many of the teachers you confidently placed on blue and green, ARE actually turquoise. IF they are really fully enlightened, to the standard I hold full enlightenment, which includes deconstructed worldview and transcendence of fabrication.
-
Here’s where I disagree with both of you. Remaining belief in mental programming = not full enlightenment, plain and simple. This whole discussion stems from a muddied, unnuanced and low standard for enlightenment. We need to agree on the terms and take multiple stages of enlightenment into account for this discussion to even make sense.
-
Well there you go! Deconstructing worldview is moving up the spiral! I don’t think you’re blue at all. I also think it’s silly to evaluate yourself by comparing yourself to others, who you are yourself projecting. Also, Ralston is the total opposite of blue lol. He literally harps against blue in every second talk of his. Again, not blue. I think a far more accurate measure is how attached you are, and how much you believe in your mental content, in your fabrications. Which you seem to do far less than blue, orange, green. Imo you are tier 2. Btw I updated my first post expanding on correlation between SD and awakening in case you missed it.
-
I agree it always seemed to me Leo had a hard on for anti materialism radical open-minded magicks and mysticism at that time and threw it into turquoise, when not particularly relevant to the actual essence of turquoise. I disagree with there being no correlation with awakening. You seem to be throwing all “enlightened” people into one pot. Let’s remember there’s multiple facets and multiple stages, and hold full enlightenment to a higher standard. Peak consciousness and unity experiences are filtered yes. Hence purple shamans and blue mystics. But full liberation involves seeing all standpoints, beliefs and mind content as fabricated and empty - the kind of deconstruction that doesn’t just happen and stick with a peak experience, imo this results in fundamental upwards movement on the spiral, quite fkin quickly too. I’m perplexed though, that you’ve been on this forum for so long, and accept and understand spiral dynamics well enough to make this post, but still evaluate yourself at blue. Can you elaborate?

you think the world isn’t real but your fear about it is?

He was in a Zen environment but always contemplated directly. I’m only repeating what he himself said in an online satsang just a couple weeks ago. He doesn’t see himself as Zen. Anyway, doesn’t really matter. I like Zen.

He would not agree with this statement
