I think you may be including undocumented immigrants in your population and they would be excluded in the electorate. It is my understanding that California may have as many as 10 million undocumented. I am not picking a side as much as giving my opinion here and there. I am merely staying on topic so people have a better understanding (From others and a less biased POV) of the electoral college, mainly for the ones outside the U.S.

The picture shows a population-weighted electoral vote distribution for the 2016 election, and it does not look favorable to either party. What is the Democrat's defense of the EV system? Clinton neglected and limited her campaign in Wisconsin and other states to her demise. Trump was playing by the electoral college rules and Clinton was going for the popular vote in New York and California. Give Trump some credit for good game playing. It sounds like minorities only matter when it is in the Left's interest, LOL.

Delaware, Vermont, and Washington D.C. have similar populations as Wyoming, always vote liberal, and have 3 electoral votes. It is not true that Republicans have an advantage in the electoral college. In Fact, if the electoral college was based on actual population, Trump wins by the same margin. One of the reasons for an electoral college is so the minority states with lower populations are heard at the Federal level. If the electoral college was based on population alone, candidates would only campaign in California, New York, Illinois, Texas, and Florida. If the election was based on popular vote, candidates would only campaign in the largest cities and pay no attention to the minority in rural areas. The Democrat Party uses a similar electoral college to elect a candidate. However, in my opinion seems corrupted.

Yep... I was a die hard Liberal 20 years ago but as I began working on myself......slowly, my thinking became more conservative. I think Trump talks like me 20 years ago, but I like his policies because they help the majority of mankind in my opinion. Of course Clinton and Biden make this an easy decision for me. I don't think this is accurate. I think many Trump supporters are not as outspoken as are on the Left. I was on this site for years before I had the nerve to write on this forum, let alone talk politics, or let it out that I support Trump. Thanks to @Leo Gura , @Serotoninluv, and many others I have grown into an Intelligent, Loving, and Spiritual Being (LOL).

@WisdomSeeker I am not an expert on police work and I don't think Melissa Segura is either. She wrote an article based on people involved in police work who went to a Trump rally, so they have no rationality. I think they may be training cops to not only protect the people, but themselves as well. Let's not forget that 100 cops will be killed over the next year. In fact, a handful have been killed over the past few day's. There is always work to do. I just found it interesting that so many on the left are wanting change in the political arena, yet if we live in Minneapolis, our representation is based on 8% Republican members. Unless I am misreading the type of change being discussed.

I got it when I was in my 20's, but then I lost it and became a moron. I have been doing self work for years now and I am becoming more of a moron. So maybe, I will stop working on my Self so I can become smart like you all, LOL. Do any of you go back and read some of the sheep you have written? I certainly do, and I try to learn from it. Yes, Trump sounds like an idiot at times, and I was not a fan of his a few years ago. It's his policies which are attractive to me and many others. It also helps that the Dems put bumbles in there corner.

There is no need for the entire nation of the U.S. to do this. If Florida wants to do this then go ahead. Nothing is preventing you from doing it. Why would you want my money to go to D.C. so they can take their 35% cut and deliver it to you. If it is successful it will spread to other states......or everyone will move to Florida, LOL.

I don't wear a mask either. I have my reasons. I usually follow rules but not always. I am grateful that Trump didn't follow CDC guidelines and completely shut down the country because people would suffer much more. People are dying, alone, and not only from the coronavirus. We are now beginning to feel the tyranny of the left which will be worse than the virus, and we follow along like sheep.

The CDC also told President Trump that he would need to completely shut down the Nation in order to save millions of lives.

According to my calculations about $466,000,000.00 per death due to coronavirus.

We have witness to this on many reservations where some receive as much as 70k annually and it does not work well collectively.

LOL....I do have attachments, but not to Trump. My attachment is to the people who are being treated unfairly and this has been a failure of mine since I was a child, in which, I have gone to jail on three occasions protecting people. I see Trump as being treated unfairly in the media most times, in fact, I don't think it matters what he does, it would be wrong in the minds of most media, of which is not reporting, but punditry. No mention of him in any thread here banning flights from China, yet the media, as well as the left and there leaders call him a racist for doing so. In 2009 Obama declared a national emergency for H1N1 after a thousand people had died and six months after the first death in the U.S. where twelve thousand people eventually died, yet he is declared the savior of the nation. I don't care if people see it my way or not, I do pray that I see it differently, and I also pray that others see it differently.

And test who.….Everyone. In my state only 7% of people tested have the virus. 93% tested do not have the virus but are sick nonetheless. Trump did not cut the program. He got rid of the dead weight left over from the Obama administration. He put competent people in like Anthony Fauci, increased spending and installed resources in more nations. The same intelligence agency which has been spying on him for four years and working against him. Trump did NOT call it a hoax. He said the next hoax for the Dem's against him will most likely be this virus. Unfortunately, whether you're a Trump supporter or not, the truth is not being told in the media, so we cannot depend on them. We also need to search without having perceptions in the process. We can search and find anything we believe suits our beliefs.

So tell us @abundance, what would you have done? Or anyone else, to prevent this. Imagine Hillary as president, or any of the candidates who ran or is running for president. how would they be handling this? IMO it would be no better, maybe worse.
