  1. This is rather fascinating to see. There’s not a ton of Actualized.org reaction videos out there coming from this low down the spiral. Sheds some light on the psychology of stage blue.
  2. Well shoot, that’s my bad. I tried to look and see if someone posted about it, but I guess I somehow missed it. Oh well, they’ll probably lock it here pretty soon, haha.
  3. No it certainly is delusional. This is just from sheer lack of metaphysical study and contemplation on his part, even though he says he’s “thought about this quite a lot”. I mean I understand his thought process, because I’ve been there. I guess what’s sad to me is that he’s come this far and has lived this long without realizing the primacy of consciousness, and that he probably will never realize it. His blatant dismissal of the mystical nature of consciousness surprised me just a little bit, because I always kind of thought of Brian Greene as one of the more open minded main stream scientists. I stand corrected.
  4. After years of meditation, psychedelics, metaphysical contemplation and listening to teachers such as Leo, this video is like a comedy skit to me.
  5. I’ve suspected in that past that he has been preparing himself to do something like that, but in one episode he mentioned that he didn’t want to do that because it only fuels the ego. I’m not sure how open he is to it, and I find myself daydreaming about him doing that at some point, but then I realize that a lot of the reason I would want that is for reasons that would only work to serve my ego. I feel that part of me that just wants to “Show those arrogant rationalist/materialists how stupid they are” and it reminds me of how I felt about fundamentalist religious people when I was an atheist/rationalist/materialist myself. So when I think about that, I feel that maybe that shouldn’t happen, but then I think “Well, these ideas are going to have to be presented in the public dialogue at some point, otherwise nothing will ever change.” These debates that we partake in can be egoic, but they might actually be necessary to evolve the consciousness of the species. Or can this evolution take place naturally by some other means without that sort of aggressive approach? I’d love to hear Leo’s take on that question.
  6. I’ve seen a few of his videos in the past. Judging by some of the terminology he uses, I’d bet money that he watches/has watched Leo’s videos.
  7. You say you are not interested in the true nature of reality, yet you want an answer to a question such as this? You won’t find the answer to this question without a desire to understand the nature of reality.
  8. Only one who hasn’t had a non-dual experience could think this. Not that being possessed by inter-dimensional entities is impossible. It could be. But the non-dual experience is definitely not that.
  9. It’s mainly triggering schizophrenia that you need to worry about. If your family has a history of schizophrenics, you could be susceptible to contracting it yourself through a mind altering substance, even if it’s just cannabis. When it comes to things like anxiety or depression, they can help alleviate those things, especially if you go in with the intention of dealing with those issues. It can happen by accident too, but if you do struggle with those things, you’d best be mindful of the risks going in and go in with the intention to heal. They do have the capability to make it worse, but only if you let yourself succumb to negative energy and let your thought be taken over by your neurosis.
  10. It takes but a moments investigation to debunk the notion of libertarian free will. Simply hold your hand in front of you, and whenever you “choose”, close it into a fist. Then ask yourself why you chose to close it when you did. Not only WHY you chose to, but HOW you accomplished the task at all.
  11. Deepak ultimately is correct in the information he’s communicating, but I think he does a less than decent job in explaining what exactly he means. Not that there would be any way to effectively communicate the intricacies of true spirituality and what God really is in less than 2 hours to a stage blue/orange audience. It took 4 years of rigorous study, contemplation, meditation and deep psychedelic experiences to get to the understanding that I have now. Ultimately I don’t think you can understand these ideas unless you have a deep desire for truth. That is while you’ve been brainwashed by society to think materialistically the way we all have.
  12. Personally, I think it’s possible to die and to not have any experience of death at all. Of course there are the famous near death experiences reported by people who’s hearts have stopped for a short period of time and eventually restarted, but there are also people who’s hearts have stopped for a time who don’t recall any experience whatsoever. I’ve even heard stories of people having Near Death Experiences where they claimed they went to Hell and experienced the worst torture imaginable. The positive NDE seems to be far far more common though. As much as I’d like to believe everyone will have the same or similar experience at death, the evidence doesn’t seem to point that way.
  13. I’m not pretending like it’s easy; It takes much focus and diligence. Pay attention to the way your mind insists on creating separation and fear. Notice how this mechanism is what is creating reality itself and without it, you could not notice anything good or beautiful at all.
  14. The truth is that everything is Beautiful and Good. The question is only, are you conscious enough to see it? This “bad” that you are perceiving is actually a manifestation of God’s(your) perfect love, and is unfolding exactly as it should. The mechanics of the ego and “evil” is a magnificent work of art. Do more self inquiry to understand the sophisticated workings of the ego and the way it deceives you, and you will start to appreciate the beauty of God’s trickery.
  15. In a sense yes. The kicker is that Hate wasn’t what you thought it was as the “opposite” of love, but rather as different sort of distorted or limited form of love. When God is realized, the duality of lower case love and hate collapses into perfect absolute Love.
  16. Free will and determinism is a duality that collapses just like all others. It can be transcended to realize Will with a capital W, that is God’s Will.
  17. First, instead of trying to conceptualize nothingness, try to contemplate somethingness and what it means for something to be something. We go throughout our lives sort of tacitly assuming that we understand what it means for something to exist as a thing. But seriously think about that. What does it mean for something to be something? Is that even a coherent notion? Notice that no matter what kind of answer you might try to give to this question, you will always run into an infinite regress. No matter what label you want to slap onto an apparent surface when trying to describe the substance of reality, you will get no closer to actually “knowing” what the substance of reality is. For example, look at any object in your surroundings and ask “What is the ultimate substance of this object?” Well it’s made out of atoms, right? But of course, in the face of this explanation, you can simply ask “Okay and what exactly are atoms?” Well, they are made out of an electron orbiting a nucleus of protons and neutrons. “What are those made of?” Weell, they’re made out of dual particles called Quarks. “And what are those?” Weeellll they’re made out probably even smaller fundamental particles. “Aaaannd what are those made of?” Weeeeelllllllll let’s just assume that string theory is true and say that they’re ultimately made of vibrating strings of energy. And with this, you might be tempted to think that that’s it. That’s the ultimate substance of the object you’re questioning. But notice, all these labels that you slapped onto all these apparent surfaces did not get you any closer to actually “Knowing” anything about the true substance of that object. Because you can just ask again. “What is energy?” And even if you can get further down than that and say that energy is made out of X. You can just ask again, “What grounds X?” And this will go on ad infinitum. No matter what ground you propose for an apparent surface, you can just always ask “What grounds that?” And this can never end, even in principle as long as you are taking a rationalist reductionist approach to this question. Even if you could somehow definitively prove that it bottomed out somewhere, you still couldn’t find an actual reason for that bottom. Because to find a reason would be to reduce it even further down, which is exactly what scientists don’t want to be able to do. At some point, you’re just going to have to say, “It just is.” And this is tantamount to saying that reality has no reason for it’s existence, which is tantamount to saying that reality is made out of nothing at all. Now the question becomes, “If reality is made out of nothing at all, then why does there appear to be something here? This is a paradox! You know what else is a paradox? The concept of... infinity. Infinity and paradox are one in the same. So to say that reality is a paradox, is to say that reality is infinite. So reality is simply Infinity. And so the reason why there appears to be something here, is because infinity requires that all possibilities, finities and forms manifest and be experienced within itself, even though the ultimate substance of those forms has to be nothingness. So the way you can think about reality, is that it is nothingness inverted into everythingness through the strange loop that is consciousness.
