@Rafael Thundercat I agree, great man and good video. Good example of responsibility of communications, as I do vocal exercises and play DnD, do a bit of acting and improvisation, and freestyle rapping and drawing and a whole bunch of ART. @_Archangel_ So, in your view, when most of this thread cherry picks/selection biases by selective pictures/clips/videos of either side, that's a problem? Even though part of the human condition is by default selection bias, confirmation bias due to limited time, energy and attention? What if trying to shift the focus to detecting broader systemic issues that have roots in historical context of that region is just another form of deflection and distraction from the current specific issues? What if this is happening but the well is poisoned much earlier? For example, that is actually happening, but it's through the lens of pro Israel/Palestinians, viewing the history of their region but then selective and partial to their biases, to reverse justify their pro Israel/Palestine positions, through their propaganda, which poisons any good faith attempts to view this situation, so what do we do when we're fed with propaganda, lies and misinformation? IDK about the more we go back to contemporary history the less subjected to interpretation an event is. Feels like we're trying to downplay this issue and distance ourselves from this by going back to a more 'distant' timeline away from this current emotional conflict in Israel/ Palestine, it's like you're trying to tell us to back away, to go to distant pasts, away from the current situation because it's too uncomfortable.

It's just that navigating those lines of shaming the scammers enough, to not make it so self entitled and self righteous too much can be murky to me. Also I don't mean to be racist India and their scammers is one of many examples, there are other scammers in different countries as well, plus due to the pervasive internet that increased narcissism and self entitlement via anonymity and chasing likes/click rates/ hyper sensational thumbnails and titles and auto beautification of profile pictures from algorithms, sociopathy/psychopathy due to easier hating/trolling and lack of accountability and prolonged interface of a 2d screen scrolling up/down when we as humans are designed for 3d environmental interaction, moral degeneracy and brain rot, more ADD/ADHD cases via chasing shorter videos like Tik Tok/Twitter/Twitch/Kick, increases in living vicariously and para social relationships from Twitch/Kick, vast misinformation and misleading content in polarizing framings, and social media influencers literally INFLUENCING the younger generation, and all these negative factors of the internet contributes to brain rot and indoctrinated consumerism. It's sad nowadays when most westerners think of India, it's not a 'spiritual civilization that made Yoga', it's instead the 'world capital of scammers.' yet can you or anyone blame them collectively for this? Given their history, economy, geography, bio-psycho-socio factors, and many other developmental factors?

It really is. Think about it in terms of developmental factors, and the capitalism ideology and incentive to make this type of content for clicks, and views. Obviously there's still many scammers, fraudsters, con artists, swindlers, grifters, hustlers, liars and cheats, especially in 3rd world countries. Yet a few videos like these: And many more, it definitely feels like mostly stage orange profits driven, for clicks and views. Are they spreading some awareness? Sure. Is this the ideal way? IMO probably not, and does little to solve the deeper issues there in the big picture.

@Lila9 I maybe partly agree here. Take ownership of Palestinian children? Some SJWs do, as most in terms of Spiral Dynamics stages of development they're at stage green, where you'll find most humanists with humanitarian values, egalitarianism, feminism, multiculturalism, animal welfare, environmentalism, new age thinking, anti culture movement, hippie communes, witches, supernatural/paranormal practices, occult, SJWs, most left to far left ideologies like liberalism, democrats, socialism, anarchism, post modernism, et cetera. Shifting the blame to the most vocal group, like those in Tik Tok or Twitter SJWs, isn't right because they're only some, only the minority of most stage greens. They may appear to glorify terrorism or HAMMAs, but in their POV some appear as freedom fighters. You do know about relativism right? ONE MAN'S TERRORIST IS ANOTHER MAN'S FREEDOM FIGHTER? How is shifting the blame towards HAMMAs more and Israel/IDF less, going to solve this situation? That's like cutting the leaves of the weed, only focus on surface level problems, and not solving the root of this issue, pulling the WHOLE WEED OUT, leaves, flower, and roots. Even if I grant you that HAMMAs is destroyed, how would that stop another terrorist group rising up in response to Palestinian lands shrinking, to very low water and food and electricity in Gaza, to genocidal intents/actions by IDF displacing Gazans, to the deep revenge they feel to IDF killing a lot of women and children just to get to HAMMAs?

@Vrubel If you're being honest with yourself, you've been in a lot of heated arguments pushing your bias lately, instead of trying to steel man the pro Palestinian position and taking it slow. Even outside this thread this is a consistent pattern with you. Obviously a bit guilty myself here, but I at least slow down, breath, and try to argue both sides fairly.

@zazen Interesting that nobody wants to give a straight answer to an IDF shooting a person waving a white flag as a war crime and end up deflecting and dodging the question, and the large portion of them leaving the room before he gave his speech.

@Nivsch And this is why misinformation and propaganda is dangerous, it desensitizes the population so much that apathy is widespread. If Israeli really cared for the suffering and deaths of the Gazan children, immediate demand for ceasefire, or boycotts and civil protests would happen in Israel. IF they cared, BUT the propaganda and the constant labelling of Palestinians and human animals and HAMMAs HAMMAs HAMMAs HAMMAs, so much thought terminating cliches so often that apathy and distortions are the only way to live in peace, in blissful ignorance, otherwise you'd cry, get angry and be sick of it.

@Tudo When you are interacting with said others in one room, communicating with each other via body language and speaking style. The second question feels like a begging to skepticism and to the state of not knowing, and parallel universes because how can anyone ever know if they'd dream up another in the future when sleeping? Or if it's already happened considering no concrete existence of time albeit objective/subjective time exists?
