Remember that the Russian counterparts, the socialists and the communists on the left, hate Corbyn. Even sharing the same left-wing ideology and still not liking Corbyn because of his extreme position already foreshadows how extreme he is. Yeah, good luck to Corbyn.

Alright, that explains a lot. I've assumed you live here and hold labour strongly. I hold my politics loosely. I'm not strongly for the conservatives as we can sometimes have a few nasty right-wing people, it's just my upbringing is conservative. Yet the same is true for the extreme left. Ideally, I don't want the UK to turn into a state-operated like china, where we bend over way too much for foreigners and we become too collectivistic. We need better regulation. Fair enough. The UK is an island (136 islands). Being an island, there are limits on resource distribution. Europe, on the other hand, is a continent with enough space to allow more socio-political experiments onto the people. I just don't see the UK being dominated by left-wing politics. You really have to have the skill-sets of conservatives to maintain order in an island that's already about to suffer less and fewer places to live.

@Apparition of Jack Tell me what policies you want Labour to pass. What do you want from the UK and what do you want it to become?

I'm sure the conservatives would win ahead of labour. Boris has come up with a more workable Brexit plan than Teresa May. Meanwhile, Corbyn is still contradicting himself: trying to appealing to the leavers or to the environmentalists with his tree plantation proposal. He can't even come up with solid solutions to immigration and economics. I'm for conservatives and I vote for Boris for progress. The last thing the UK government and people need right now is to go around a perpetual circle along with Corbyn's confusion.

For most of my life I've been single and plagued with feelings of loneliness. It sometimes felt depressive, like I wasn't destined for intimacy. I've traveled the world once. However, for some reason, despite my looks and behavior, I've somehow dated a woman and she's now a girlfriend to me. Now I'm wondering how to manage the relationship? Just act normally or do I live like a single person?

This thread is interesting, but I think it's starting to decline in value. Better lock this thread than risk OP and others wasting time and energy only intellectualizing an advanced topic like self-love.

@Mikael89 We met in a hotel resort and as soon as we locked eyes it felt like I was lost in her eyes. After that, we just talked and it felt very random and spontaneous. I struggled with speaking to other people but with her, it was suddenly smooth. For months I've done my own research on dating and relationships, but in the week I happened to meet her I gave up on finding a girlfriend. And then I met her. How counter-intuitive.

@28 cm unbuffed I used to try to be humorous with a few users in this forum in order to make them aware of their own projections. While the motivation behind this was positive and, to me, funny, it was interpreted as negative. I received 4 warning points - two for trolling that expires and two for name-calling that's permanent. I guess I was used to a certain type of humor that's too strong for some people and it needed working on. I would take care not to offend people here, even if it's just, especially in a triggered state if I were you.

Thanks for the reply. I had a negative attitude that started when a woman sexually victimized me in my childhood. I've sought help for that and have made some progress. Now it isn't as bad as it used to be. I don't know what I did to deserve such hatred, but it's something I've working on getting past. Despite my past, I'm glad I'm leading a good life and am working on myself. Thanks for providing advice.

I'm aware of some prejudice and projection around women I make, especially the one that traumatized me in the past. It's thanks to traveling and meditation I now have a newer view of women. Your welcome. Thanks for the advice. I used to think women are in it for the money and luxuries men provide, the protection they offer and how naturally women drain men's lives. After I traveled the world, women to me are far more complicated and diverse than I thought to be.

I've tried journaling a lot. Sometimes it helps but I noticed the feeling comes whether I think positive/negative. I'll try journaling differently and see. Thanks for the reply.

Hard to put into words. It's like I used to feel positive emotions but this negative emotion numbs away the positive ones. I also put my attention to it and it feels slow like oil. And now it's more persistent than usual. I don't think my thoughts are causing the feeling. Sometimes the feeling comes up even if I'm negatively thinking

If I was kidnapped and there's no escape and the people are cutting my body, then I will feel the pain from cutting.
