  1. That's true. He was actually beaten by some of his fanatical followers who have their own agenda of a 'better UK'. He recently was forced to fire a senior adviser who had a sensible plan for his economic policy all because he was not as radical as them. If elected, Corbyn, along with the extreme 'corbynistas' would be devastating for the UK. Boris Johnson is also not a good candidate for MP either, because he has a vision for the UK that's too materialistic and too narrow, feels like he's trying to emulate Trump. High chance for a hung parliament. I get the feeling if this keeps getting worse we might regress back to some form of monarchy and the queen would have to step in.
  2. It's like chocolate. Leo has had tiny samples of the entire chocolate spectrum while Ralston focuses more on dark chocolate and fewer on milk and white chocolate, conflating white chocolate for conditional love and milk chocolate for not being hardcore enough. The difference is just in experiences and ironically Ralston's attachment to his way of spirituality.
  3. Emotions are complex yet primitive. They exist to aid in your survival in so many ways. The best I could describe the differences between anger and fear is this; anger has more intensity and heat than fear in general. Also, which anger? There's a feeling of annoyance, feeling vengeful, feeling disgusted and feeling rage. There's also fear; insecurity, nervousness, worrying, terror and much more. Which one are you comparing to see the sameness or differences? I would get an emotion thesaurus and the Sedona method's chart of emotions( or any other models of emotions) and use mindfulness to see how you think and feel for each one. Good luck.
  4. Sounds like you're ready to focus more on spirituality than women. I'd recommend Nofap easy mode to you and see how you feel after 3 or so months. If you're feeling brave, go Nofap hard mode and focus more on meditating/contemplating/self-inquiry. Good luck.
  5. Remember that the Russian counterparts, the socialists and the communists on the left, hate Corbyn. Even sharing the same left-wing ideology and still not liking Corbyn because of his extreme position already foreshadows how extreme he is. Yeah, good luck to Corbyn.
  6. I agree that we need a better leader than Boris.
  7. Alright, that explains a lot. I've assumed you live here and hold labour strongly. I hold my politics loosely. I'm not strongly for the conservatives as we can sometimes have a few nasty right-wing people, it's just my upbringing is conservative. Yet the same is true for the extreme left. Ideally, I don't want the UK to turn into a state-operated like china, where we bend over way too much for foreigners and we become too collectivistic. We need better regulation. Fair enough. The UK is an island (136 islands). Being an island, there are limits on resource distribution. Europe, on the other hand, is a continent with enough space to allow more socio-political experiments onto the people. I just don't see the UK being dominated by left-wing politics. You really have to have the skill-sets of conservatives to maintain order in an island that's already about to suffer less and fewer places to live.
  8. @Apparition of Jack Tell me what policies you want Labour to pass. What do you want from the UK and what do you want it to become?
  9. I'm sure the conservatives would win ahead of labour. Boris has come up with a more workable Brexit plan than Teresa May. Meanwhile, Corbyn is still contradicting himself: trying to appealing to the leavers or to the environmentalists with his tree plantation proposal. He can't even come up with solid solutions to immigration and economics. I'm for conservatives and I vote for Boris for progress. The last thing the UK government and people need right now is to go around a perpetual circle along with Corbyn's confusion.
  10. @Maximus, @28 cm unbuffed, @Mikael89 and @Preety_India. Thanks for providing some good advice!
  11. For most of my life I've been single and plagued with feelings of loneliness. It sometimes felt depressive, like I wasn't destined for intimacy. I've traveled the world once. However, for some reason, despite my looks and behavior, I've somehow dated a woman and she's now a girlfriend to me. Now I'm wondering how to manage the relationship? Just act normally or do I live like a single person?
  12. This thread is interesting, but I think it's starting to decline in value. Better lock this thread than risk OP and others wasting time and energy only intellectualizing an advanced topic like self-love.
  13. @Preety_India Thank you for providing such an insightful quote! By the way, how's your dating and relationships going?
  14. There are two ways to measure self-love scientifically; by contemplating what is true science, self, and love, by researching and doing spiritual methods that lead to mystical experiences, and by embodying the realization(s), like this man Of course, don't believe anything I say. Just do the practices and see for yourself.
  15. Do you guys have a set of warning flags you keep to indicate if a date might become toxic?
  16. And thanks again @Mikael89, @Nickyy, and @Preety_India for giving interesting points of view on dating and relationships. I'm learning quite a lot from you guys + gal.
  17. Congratulations! You're now a member of the warned society! Welcome to the warning ban wagon, where you learn so much so quickly!
  18. @Mikael89 We met in a hotel resort and as soon as we locked eyes it felt like I was lost in her eyes. After that, we just talked and it felt very random and spontaneous. I struggled with speaking to other people but with her, it was suddenly smooth. For months I've done my own research on dating and relationships, but in the week I happened to meet her I gave up on finding a girlfriend. And then I met her. How counter-intuitive.
  19. @28 cm unbuffed I used to try to be humorous with a few users in this forum in order to make them aware of their own projections. While the motivation behind this was positive and, to me, funny, it was interpreted as negative. I received 4 warning points - two for trolling that expires and two for name-calling that's permanent. I guess I was used to a certain type of humor that's too strong for some people and it needed working on. I would take care not to offend people here, even if it's just, especially in a triggered state if I were you.
  20. Thank you @Preety_India, @Mikael89, @Nickyy, @Anna1, and @Key Elements for providing interesting posts and advice, especially @Nickyy and @Mikael89 for their discussion between each other. I'm learning a lot.
  21. Thanks for the reply. I had a negative attitude that started when a woman sexually victimized me in my childhood. I've sought help for that and have made some progress. Now it isn't as bad as it used to be. I don't know what I did to deserve such hatred, but it's something I've working on getting past. Despite my past, I'm glad I'm leading a good life and am working on myself. Thanks for providing advice.
  22. Thanks for the reply. I had a negative attitude that started when a woman sexually victimized me in my childhood. I've sought help for that and have made some progress. Now it isn't as bad as it used to be. I don't know what I did to deserve such hatred, but it's something I'm working on recovering. I'm aware of some prejudice and projection around women I make, especially the one that traumatized me in the past. It's thanks to traveling and meditation I now have a newer view of women. Thanks for letting me know about judging. I'll keep an eye out for that. Again, thanks for the pieces of advice you're providing.
  23. Thanks, man. How about you, with your dating?
  24. Your welcome. Thanks for the advice. I used to think women are in it for the money and luxuries men provide, the protection they offer and how naturally women drain men's lives. After I traveled the world, women to me are far more complicated and diverse than I thought to be.
