  1. @Basman Yes, when dealing with these situations it's best to trust your intuition. If it feels bad, despite looking very similar or sounds similar to a loved one, stop, slow breaths and double-triple check before making any decisions especially with money or other important decisions that can change your life.
  2. @Gnosis Developmental psychology is the restaurant alcohol selection, and postmodernism the pack of beer?
  3. @r0ckyreed Post Modernists and Subjectivist talk about whether trees and the forests exist. Realists and developmental psychology says these are how trees and forests develop, and the more hardcore pragmatists say "Just go camping outdoors bro.".
  4. @Leo Gura True! Who cares what Post Modernists disagree about realist truths of developmental psychology, when these realist practical truths have a net positive gain for human development?
  5. @at_anchor This site, meaning Actualized.org, or what site are you referring to? Why look for a beggar when you can donate to a charity? Also, if it's me I'd advice against because I was ripped off and jumped by a few homeless people, so I'd be careful there, better to donate to a store or some website. Can you elaborate more on your current situation to us? I can't really attempt to give a general advice because we don't know much of the specifics of your situation, maybe more elaboration might lead to a better advice?
  6. @Nilsi I'm doing just that, entertaining my thoughts and discarding them in my mind, as I bash around Lex Fridman's character. I even made artwork about him, and did several sessions of making a diss track towards him. Again, why do you assume post modernism is superior to developmental psychology?
  7. @Nilsi Because throughout human history events collectively match up and align with the modals of developmental psychology. I haven't seen Post modernism survive the history test, or survive the passages of time yet. Why assume that post modernism is more superior to developmental psychology then? I don't like Lex Fridman because of his disingenuous integrity and choices as to who to interview or not. I know there's differences to stages of development, cognitive or moral development, personality types, states of being and other lines of life domain development and other ideologies that proliferate in one's mind, and all this may null my own critics of Lex, but it's paradoxical to a good moral character. For example, Lex Fridman, despite whatever integrity he has, is okay interviewing Joe Rogan, Elon Musk, and Kanye West and Destiny, characters that had some points in the past have been blatant with their neurosis and narcissism, flagrant with their Racism(less with Joe Rogan) and anti Semitism(mainly Kanye West), and is okay interviewing Destiny who may be a sociopathic Bi-sexual person who may be psychologically manipulating his sexual partners and abusing power dynamics of his internet position, and interview these people mainly for clout, clicks, views and profits of increased attention and due to appearing so challenging and empathetic and all that optics game. However, he then turns around and refuses to interview people who may challenge him fearlessly, like Mr. Girl and a few others with actually deep insights. It's this cold, calculated biased decision that puts me off him. Also, this is my intuition, but I get Jimmy Savile/Jeffery Epstein vibes from him, it's like a psychic feeling of danger, can't logically explain it, certain people give evil vibes, and Lex is unfortunately one of them, so fuck Lex Fridman and his phony idiot compassion campaign. This is my rant like intuitive speculation of him, which could be wrong, but I'd rather be wrong in this case and assume my intuition is inaccurate or false than to find out later how exactly right I was for distrusting Lex Fridman's moral integrity.
  8. @Nilsi You know, you sound more and more like Lex Fridman, who I don't like. @Leo Gura's intuition of developmental psychology being more valuable than post modernism is correct. Why are you saying the opposite?
  9. @Tanz So, because of the numerous users, income, valuable data is why Elon Musk wants Twitter? Then why did the original leader and Twitter board protect that much value being taken by Elon? The shareholders,, most likely stage orange value with logical and sequential cognition and limited morality, only for profits, clicks, views and outcomes orientated, because they're all that, they get to sell Titter to Elon? Why did they let ruthless business and shareholders sell Twitter, just for more cash? I do think Elon Musk is mostly lying in saying he believes in freedom of speech, given how much he had to censor and cancel most Twitter accounts, left wing and right wing opinions, and especially freedom of speech about how evil Elon Musk is, which ironically is truthful. To me he's a blatant narcissist, and hyper logical guy that he is misplacing himself as some leader of a social media platform, when he should be focused on Tesla and Space X. With this drama he brought on to himself he ain't going to Mars anytime soon, or making the latest invention, to me it's silly and evil. Can you elaborate on the in and out burger example?
  10. @Nilsi Okay. To me, developmental psychology is like escalating types of plates, with cuisine in each, like breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks and stuff. Post modernism is the desserts, and sometimes what, when, where, and how you eat a meal will be context sensitive. Each meal has it's proper place in GOD's grand scheme.
  11. @CuriousityIsKey I would safely assume most are, and only a handful are not. In my experiences, Tarot Reading can be fun to do. In fact sometimes when I want to contemplate metaphysics or more psychological stuff with my life, or someone in mind, Tarot cards make it more fun and kill off the boringness of logically deriving the answers in a journal.
  12. @Nilsi @Nilsi If you were a pragmatist, why are you pragmatically orientated towards postmodernism, whilst denying the practicality of developmental psychology? What is the question begging? Why is there no reason to be invested in Academic psychology? If I'm interested in burgers, I wouldn't be in the kitchen, and if I'm interested in cuisines I wouldn't read recipe books. Why did you assume that interest negates pursuit in context are mutually incompatible in cause and effect?
  13. @Nilsi @Nilsi So, what's your issue with developmental psychology and postmodernism?
  14. Wait a minute, is this entire thread a manipulative attempt to signal @Leo Gura to hurry up with releasing that Post modernism video? SNEAKY.
  15. @Nilsi Wait, I thought you were a no self, no-mind advocate of Buddhism/Advaita Vedanta? Yet demand me to think more? I no-mind/=/tell others to mind more.
  16. @max duewel Thank you, you put it more well than I could.
  17. @Nilsi No, it's the other way around: dev psy are more humble of developmental stages of values, cognition, morality, states of being, variety of personality types, and differences of life experiences from individual to collective, meanwhile Postmodernists have deluded themselves into thinking the Postmodernism is far superior than modernism and pre modernism.
  18. @Nilsi Development psychology is far more mature with development, whilst Postmodernism is all about itself, in denial that modernism or pre modern was necessary evolutionary steps for the psyche.
  19. @Tanz So, basically because Twitter is near bankruptcy, they had to sell to Elon Musk? Bing paid incredibly well /=/ happiness when yo are forced to work overtime, some sleep at Twitter building and working overtime in figuring out how to make Twitter better than the older version.
  20. Actually I'm surprised how all of Twitter's employees are still remaining working in Twitter, I expected all of them to boycott Twitter.
  21. @Enlightement For fuck's sake, how did Twitter let themselves be bought by a Narcissistic hyper logical guy?
  22. @Girzo There's definitely more to Russia's motives if we correctly contextualize this situation: However, I agree with main motive that @Leo Gura provided: Putin made clear Ukraine should never join NATO, or else. The USE kept pushing, we must accept and not deny that the USA and even some European countries are partly to blame here, for triggering Putin into war. If I was in a neighborhood, had some bad relations with some, and they kept asking my next door neighbor to join the bad neighbor coalition and make them think it's i9n their best interest, that is threatening to me because they want more and more of my property in the future, and my family's property and livelihood, to me, is under threat. I already warned next door don't be friendly or join alliances with those bad neighbors, Or I'll break down your fences and push my property line 5 more feet claiming some of yours and then some, and threatened the bad neighborhood alliance to back the fuck off. They didn't listen, well, they fucked around so now they'll find out how far I'll go to protect what's mine. Can you understand and empathize with my point of view?
  23. @MisterNobody To most, schizophrenia is mostly classed as a mental disorder, and I agree with this, but this is also in a spectrum, from something light like mild schizophrenia to catatonic schizophrenia. Mostly auditory hallucinations of varying degrees, sometimes visual and visible hallucinations, mood swings, intrusions of some or many mind voices. In reality 8 billion people have schizophrenia but very light, enough for the ego mind to speak to itself but not so much that it drowns other voices. Are you taking jabs at @Leo Gura? Be honest, from reading this I feel a lot of passive aggressiveness and less interest in the psychedelic or schizophrenia.
