  1. One of my favorites, poor guy stuck in thought loops during his death trip. The ending always gets me.
  2. I don't know about any of the spiritual aspects you speak of but I identify with almost all of the physical symptoms. I've had the energy surges, heart palpitations, head exploding sensations, weeks of elation and euphoria (I call these the pink cloud moments and they can feel like an extended LSD microdose), and overwhelming fatigue. These were all part of an extended withdrawal from alcohol and benzos. Fixing these issues has taken a combination of time, meditation, and diet changes. I couldn't really get a timeline from your post, but if you are less than 3 years completely free of psychotropic medications and chemicals, (excluding occasional cannabis and psychedelics) I would attribute your physical symptoms to PAWS. If you're less than 3 years, I would just understand that these strange symptoms will happen and that they are part of healing. Some can be triggered and it is helpful to explore and identify those triggers. But it will still happen even without a trigger. Integrate it into your mindfulness practice.
