  1. I don’t like that scenario at all. That’s domestic terrorism. One man should be able to go on trial for crimes he has allegedly committed without the threat of war.
  2. It depends on how successful Trump is in court battles and recounts. Also, whenever the results are conclusive that Biden wins is when Trump becomes really dangerous. Everything we’ve seen up until now is a calm and controlled Donald Trump. We still have 2.5 months of him as president, and might stop caring and go completely nuts out of shear desperation and anger.
  3. America went through this horrible phase of conquering territories and claiming them as American soil. Look at Hawaii, Guam, American Samoa, and American Virgin Islands. Hawaii is now a state, so why not the rest? Along with Puerto Rico and D.C.
  4. A loooooooot of high-ranking people nearby could definitely use some!
  5. pro speech pro guns pro life pro business pro “good old days” That’s about it, really.
  6. It’ll be interesting to see what happens when I drive my Honda with a Michigan plate to Texas to visit family for Christmas... Might attract a Trump train of my own!
  7. I’m surprised that anyone expected a comfortable Biden victory. Hell, I’m just glad to know Michigan went to Biden. I had no set expectations. And the bitching and whining has already started among coworkers. Also heard about a riot in downtown Detroit from the janitor.
  8. What’s the difference between radical open-mindedness and gullibility? What’s the difference between entertaining a notion and adopting it as a new perspective/worldview? Why should I listen to what Leo says and not listen to what Alex Jones says? Does the degree with which I agree or disagree with either of them make it any more wrong or right? Skepticism is necessary as a bullshit filter, but how does one determine what gets filtered out? One’s own level of skepticism is a bias in and of itself, by necessity!
  9. Nice! I hope it goes well!
  10. There are already far too many nuclear weapons as it is. Adding more will not reduce suffering. Ideally, countries that currently have nuclear weapons would agree among each other to disarm them, but that’s not realistic. The doomsday clock is as close to midnight now as it ever got during the Cold War.
  11. Yeah, some answers can be like that. Just a matter of perspective. As for the OP, Kegel exercises and self-exploration are good things! Just be present and patient with your body, there’s no rush. If you feel pain, stop. Notice what you were doing before you felt the pain and avoid doing that the same way again. Know your limits. The limits to what objects or actions you use is determined by you alone. It’s different for different people. Also, don’t do anything you aren’t willing to clean up after. Because really, ew. Some things are only beautiful in the moment.
  12. Yeah, he’s doomed to suffer. And as was pointed out, he’s already suffering from these past 4 years (and the rest of his life, honestly). He’s basically in hell already with nobody to blame but himself. It’s just too bad he’s not aware of it and blames anyone but himself.
  13. Yes. I do this constantly. This is where my problem is, I think. I can see from multiple perspectives. I have an open mind and it can change often. It’s not a very stable foundation. This is what I originally labeled as a “bullshit filter”. I’m not sure if mine is working well or not. Agreed! I filtered him out a while back.
  14. Yes. All of this. Live your life. Don’t worry about the lives of others or what you think your life ought to be now if things “worked out better”. Take small steps now to make your life better now.
  15. These are the fastest objects created by humans thus far: https://voyager.jpl.nasa.gov/mission/status/ Not only did they have enough propulsion to leave Earth’s atmosphere and travel far away (also the most distant objects made by humans thus far) they also made “slingshot passes” around planets to gather more momentum using the planet’s gravitational field. That’s incredibly energy efficient. Just let gravity do the work for you!
  16. Direct experience is a series of inputs that are interpreted.
  17. Nofap is just one mode of living. You can have rationalizations and justifications for whether it’s right or wrong. It becomes an attachment either way. Just live your life.
  18. The beaming Sun! ? As for my own answer to the topic, not usually. I find myself mired in cynicism most times.
  19. It’s good that you’re using your free time from job loss to pursue creativity! If that is what you’re truly passionate about, there’s no good reason to stop or discourage you. The thing about political cartoons (in my opinion) is that while they’re highly relevant in the moment, they lose meaning very quickly as the situation changes and context is lost. That said, I like your work!
