I doubt Leo would argue that psychedelics do more than temporarily change one’s state of consciousness. I think he would argue it is entirely worthwhile to experience it and integrate any lessons/insights into one’s sober state. The integration makes the temporary more permanent.

Just finished watching that video! It’s an orange worldview on the spiral denouncing a green worldview. She basically says that qualitative and subjective methodologies in therapy make no sense because they can’t be quantified and data-driven!
