  1. @EternalForest Thanks for the reply. Yes, knowing it really doesn’t change anything because you could believe that this is a simulation or a game or a movie or a dream or an illusion and still suffer. That is why we need direct experiences of non-duality, because then it truly has an impact. I could answer what you are looking when you see all those things you mentioned, but it will not satisfy you, sorry. (Just to not let you curious: you are not really looking at anything ( or, you are looking to nothingness) because there is nothing (not even people) there, all you are seeing is the projection of your mind created by yourself)
  2. Yes/No depending on your point of view. On a certain level yes because we have to use language and language is dualistic and it makes it seems like there is a duality. But in a metaphysical level no, Because Duality is an illusion, and Non-Duality is the truth. For example if you see a huge monster in your dream while sleeping surely it is real for you at that moment, but when you wake up you don’t understand how you felt on that illusion, an illusion so convincing that you would bet it was real while sleeping. The same with true self and false, only the true self is real, the false self or the ego is just like the huge monster on the example seems like it is there but it isn’t. Blessings, and thank you for the interesting question.
  3. @Rilles Very interesting verse! The vast majority of things written about God in the old scriptures are clearly egoic projections of the authors mind. God didn’t create evil, because evil and good doesn’t exist.
  4. @Aquarius Yes indeed, It is very ironic. Also a powerful paradigm lock. Interesting how this applies to almost every religion. People want what they like when it comes to faith.
  5. If everything is One and divine, the whole ortodox Christianity doesnt make any sense because there is no need for Jesus to save people, therefore the crucifixion which is the most important thing for a Christian loses it purpose. the bible says “But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.” ‭‭Galatians‬ ‭1:8‬ ‭KJV‬‬ This verse makes everything that isnt in harmony with the bible cursed and demonic. But this is just an egoic reaction to the truth and a lack of direct experience. Blind belief and the fear of death and going to hell makes it even worse. If that works for some people thats ok. We’re not here to judge, we all have to go through personal experiences to ultimately get to the truth. My parents are just like the person you talked to. I’ve learned to love them as they are now, and also made me see that a closed mind only gets so far. Blessings
  6. Hope you get better soon MM1988 I’ve learned that in the world of duality the majority of good thing bring bad things and vice versa. But the bad things are the ones that helping on growing the most. Although I’m not giving advice, because you are probably far more advanced than me. Its an interesting question. Thank you
  7. Hi, This is just a humble explanation. If you agree that heaven may be pointing to awakening on this metaphor, and that God refers to your True self, It means that all the hard experiences are chances given to us (from us) in order to awaken from this dream called reality. After all, There is only God and nothing else, So we are challenging ourselves to ultimately awaken.
  8. @Leo Gura Thank you, but I am actually grateful for having experienced it because it lead me to finding you and my true-self.
  9. My question is; If a spiritual book ask you to give it faith (Believe in what it says sometimes literally) in order to get the benefits, Is it Ok to do it so? The reason of my question is that because I was raised in a Super dogmatic Crhistian - protestant family, Even though I don't live with them anymore (Left my house 2 years ago, I'm 22 now) Still I'm trying to overcome the "Believe in the lord Jesus or you'll go to hell" or "If you don't have faith you're doomed" kind of mind set. These 2 years were hellish to take all the dogma from out of my head but with contemplation and meditation (thanks to Leo) I succeeded. I'm studying A Course In Miracles now and in the Text it says that If you believe your ego mind you're gonna get deluded, So trust in God's will (I know that it means Infinity and not an anthropomorphic figure). I really want to get the maximum benefits of the Course (I'm in Lesson 73 today) But for a few months now, the idea that maybe if I give all my faith to ACIM thats the same thing that my parents did with the bible and then I'll made myself a dogmatic person just like them. I'm not making ACIM and idol its just that I want to do as it says at least while I'm practicing it. Then today watching Leo's "All Understanding Is Metaphoric - Part 2" video it says that "I can't take things literally" This is the reason of my question, can I take it literally if a book like ACIM sometimes ask me to ? Thank you very much @Leo Gura Edit: Sorry if its a bit hard to read, I'm Japanese.
  10. @Leo Gura Thank you, I will keep basing everything in my direct experience and not stay stuck in details. Thank you for your channel by the way, your advices changed my life completely. I found Actualized.org when I was seriously thinking about commiting suicide because of the guilt I was programmed with by the church. But now I see light and joy in everything I see thanks to following your advices for 2 years.
