  1. Definitely. But also remember those traps are part of the process too. You've gotta experience and be it to overcome it. So there will be a lot of egoic mechanisms displayed. That's what really shows us as newly budding actualizers. All a part of the journey.
  2. I'm sure a lot of people get into it for self help but not all. I was shown Leo after having a profound trip and I got to watch his content tripping. Blew my mind. I wanted to try and wrap my mind around the dozens of insights I had.
  3. If we are talking tolerance then 2 weeks for a full reset. Rest is very much up to you as an individual. And is likely never a consistent thing. Some parts of my life I did it a lot. Now it's only rarely.
  4. Earth is flat. Earth IS IS ..
  5. Watch Leo's earlier videos. They are more personal development based instead of all the woowoo stuff.
  6. Heed this advice. I experimented with dph which is arguably much safer if you want to get into deliriants. It's not pleasant and not fun. You'd be better off doing something like Salvia if you want whacky experiences. Also beware of serotonin syndrome. It can be fatal.
  7. Context matters. Also see: http://xyproblem.info/
  8. @Aeris Reality truly is a sandbox isn't it? God's playground.
  9. Our memory is more capable than we think. If we make strong associations to the thing we try to memorize we can increase our ability to recall.
  10. Threads like these come up all the time and I'm pretty sure he purposefully ignores them.
  11. And that's what we (hopefully) do here. As I said direct experience is key here. We can argue all day about nonduality wars. There are an infinite number of ways to point to the Dao. And many of them work better for one person than another. If the Bible helps you, great. But you'll find it doesn't resonate with many people here. You'll need to change your approach unless you've just come here to preach to a brick wall. Appreciate this puzzle.
  12. On your first statement, we can't ever know that now can we? At least until experience can be shared. Words don't do much justice. Dictionary definitions are useful, but it's not helpful to turn them into a limitation. When people use words differently you try to get them to use your desired meanings instead of adapting to theirs. Or rather the meanings the entire community used. Have you come here to teach or learn? Both? Everybody walks their own path. They must first discover themselves to find God to begin respecting the profundity of it. Your path and the path Leo makes at the end of the day will point you to the same source with just different mental scaffolding.
  13. It is all you but that wouldn't stop you attracticting yourself to harm yourself. Attracting entities with harmful intent rather than achieving shifts in consciousness. Of course the validity of this I have no idea.
  14. What separates you from God? What separates creator from creation? What separates a piece of a painting from the painting itself. When you speak of a chair you don't exclude anything from it. Its the seat, the backrest, and legs. That is the chair in entirety. Its what makes it complete. And you can infinitely subdivide that chair into the pieces and the smallest bits of the material, but it needs all of that to be whole. A 'thing' can be subdivided infinitely. You can then go more whole. Chair -> House -> Land -> Planet -> Space -> Universe -> Reality etc And what is going to be at the top of this? God.
  15. You will always have to try to some degree. There are barriers stopping you from letting go. It's undoing a lot of shit.
  16. You elaborated on it way more than what I was thinking but yes you wrote it way more eloquently than me. ? I do think it requires more than a dissolution of thought stories, rather a much more radical shift in consciousness. There is something else happening I can't put my finger on. I don't think soul-lover is wrong. Reality has many facets. Nonduality includes duality. But when there is disagreement I suspect there is either a communication barrier or it is viewed from other facets.
  17. @Soul-lover 2020 People here use language in a more dynamic way than dictionary definitions. If you don't adapt you will not understand. It's not a problem to go beyond dictionaries. It only is for those who restrict themselves to it. People here have dissolved the boundary between creator and creation. You will not convince them otherwise because their direct experience says differently.
  18. All approximations. The Dao that can be told is not the true Dao. This is why here we shoot for experience instead, because that does it better justice than words.
  19. @Soul-lover 2020 Remember that words are an approximation of something undefinable. Don't be too literal.
  20. You can point to the same thing but build an infinite amount of mental constructs about it then argue about who is more correct. Don't get so caught up in the map. You could go for days calling one another delusional and or wrong claiming your understanding is superior. But it really doesn't do anything if both people think they got it figured out and nobody is listening besides to criticize. You don't need to prove yourself to anybody. You don't need to convert anybody. Those who don't get what Leo means and genuinely want to investigate, then do it. Follow his practices and see where it leads you.
  21. I use both where it fits best. They are tools for the mind to navigate. Why limit yourself to one or the other? The idealist can be good for mental development and making deep inquiries about reality. The materialist is super good at the surface level manipulation that we see in science and tech. You could call the materialist layered on top of the idealist. Its like an onion I don't think scrapping it will resolve the root issue of clinging to mental models.
