Bad apples ruin it for the bunch. ? -
How do you reconcile this when you call things foolish and devilry? Any statement on anything seems to be a projection. Even what I just said. Are you just always conscious of the relativity and feel no need to appear correct to them?
-
Agreed. It's very easy to turn the idea of projection into a nasty ego game. Using it as a defense mechanism is quite interesting. The ego tries to adapt well.

Rhetorical question. I see posts here and there about powers and magic. We often think beyond the traditional limitations of the human body. Because we are used to what the body can do. So everything it can't brings us this magicalness that is similar to when we were young. But if everybody could fly, it wouldn't seem so magical anymore and we would then look beyond those limits as super powers. Point being: You have a lot of super powers. Look at everything you can do and appreciate the pure magicalness and beauty of it. We are works of art in this grand design.

If the latter is true that automatically makes the former true. ? -
@Bill W I like this approach to looking at it. I find the closer I get to a 10 the less awareness I have over my actions. The sheer power of awareness itself is amazing.
-
Yes this is exactly what I was trying to say. ?

@Chi_ The memory of such experiences can make your sober state much more aware. With every experience comes learning. One would not even begin to grasp how profound nonduality is without a nondual experience. Experience is much more impactful than theory. -

I think this thread has served its purpose. -
Perhaps try reconciling together what you oppose and what you promote. There are half truths in both. Also consider our current systems are a direct representation of the states of humanity. It will change as we evolve. We get it. You don't want to be forced into a system involuntarily. But you did. Here we are. Now we got to make the best of it. Annihilating the system isn't a possibility right now. Incremental changes can happen, but radical ones take time. Be strategic. Come here to grow and learn instead of preaching anti-government. Singing the same song over and over will get people tired of seeing you post and completely neglect what you say. You'd be talking to yourself. This is counter productive. Your strategy needs to change if you actually wish to accomplish anything. This is genuine advice. Be careful on how you adopt your ideals about government. It's just as bad if you turn that into an ideology. You'd be no matter than the pro government people you criticize for being ideological. Dipping your toes in other topics wouldn't hurt too.. This is a personal development forum. Politics isn't the only thing here.

@Norbert Lennartz I'll trade you an ideology for an ideology. -

@Quicksilver Be appreciative of small incremental steps. That'd what leads us into the more radical changes. -
Just what the ego wants you to think to stay established. It's very sneaky and will do anything it can to maintain control.

@Cody_Atzori Imagine experiencing all that you do but you are no longer identified with it. To the point it becomes just another state of being. It is no longer something you scurry to avoid. Are they insane or is unconscious people insane?

Funny that I used to see people who spoke of Truth as crazy. (Granted many still phrase it in a woowoo way) to which I was only given the response of to take more. It wasn't until becoming a seasoned tripper that it became clear. Which resulted in nothing but laughter from discovering a nondual state. It may not happen on the first trip. Maybe not even 10 trips. But it'll be revealed to one in due time. -

@Norbert Lennartz Your approach isn't working. How many posts will it take before you see it needs to be changed before you reach anybody. Target your audience instead of yourself. -

Understanding the absolute does not mean to be complacent in the relative. Nondual does not eliminate the dual. Its additive, not subtractive. -

Sure. A high consciousness person would likely for the highest consciousness person running. Possible, yes. Likely? Probably not. High consciousness doesn't entail one way of thinking or being. It's more like a guideline. -

Temporary enlightenment. Then you come back to your usual dualistic state of consciousness. But you can take back insights and lessons from it. -
You are using proof in such a loose or different manner I can't even get where you are getting at.

I'm interested. My knowledge on politics is very spotty. I researched quite a bit during the last election but it was mostly to support who I wanted to win (Bernie) I really hope you address balancing the perspective of the collective and individual needs in this. I've discovered it needs a very careful balance. -
@Moreira I mean men have been on a pedestal for a long time prior. I always said feminism would tilt the seesaw if we are not as vigilant to both sides. We've been to both extremes. Maybe now we can find balance?

They don't exist and yet they do.. The great paradox of reality runs deep. Illusion is real and real is illusion.
