I can say one thing with certainty, absolute or reality is not measurable by the head. It is a measureless seeing. The ending of measure. -

What do you mean cultivate? Fosho. But isn’t cultivation also moot? Seeing “my” own limits is what you mean right? In seeing those limits as in awareness, ends those false patterns that prevent seeing. That what you mean dude? -

That’s why rationality=irrationality. It never was rational. But what happens if fear, psychological seeking security ends? -

Fosho. It’s the same ol division based community. One idea/theory clashing with others=division. But for some reason it’s only ok for some people to do this on the forum. It is absurd and child like behavior dudes. -

The very few people of the past set the stage for ending psychological time. Consciousness is always evolving in one way or another. Depends on what is done in the now. We keep depending on information, gurus, practices, chemicals, which are all of time, then that will continue in consciousness. We don’t need any of the above to end time dudes. Imagine if people didn’t have to “get liberated”... conciousensss would be naturally free from the restraints of time. What we do now makes way for consciousness in next now’s. It’s been the same pattern over the last 3000 years. Depending on a guru, practices, routines, chemicals, information, authority/thought. The more we depend on this pattern now, the more we think we will need to then.. Change the pattern my brahman’s ? -

Thought wants and needs security but everything it does prevents it. Thought wants to be liberated, but every move it makes enslaves. Freedom is not a reaction, it is a necessity, but thought doesnt comprehend its own limit so it works within the bounds of measure. This is the problem. Thought wants freedom but is also threatened by it. Does desire lead to freedom?, no, but does understanding what limits/prevents freedom? Hell yes. -

@cetus56 This song always seemed to be in the back of my mind every since I was a young lad. I always wanted more than the usual hogwash we are fed growing up. This sums up the longing for that freedom/joy of life. And now this song is that much more magnificent since my recent freedom from time. -

How would the ”me” give up something it never had in the first place dudes? Or did we give up irrationality? -

Fosho dude. This stuff goes a lot deeper than experiences. Way deeper? -
Jack River replied to inFlow's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Wouldn’t that be the burden -

What limits rational thinking? -
Jack River replied to Violinpracticerdude's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
That’s very groveable dude. I think people feel they need books because of conditioning, when it’s all here in ourselves to be understood. But yeah understanding limitation is important. Thanks for your reply. -
Jack River replied to Violinpracticerdude's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Maybe. so we are then learning about limitation? -
Jack River replied to inFlow's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Experiences are not the point. Thats for sure. Is there a spiritual experience? And we must not be guided either. No one or no thing leads to what is. No causation dudes. -

Depending on thought is the same as depending on someone. This is depending on what thought has invented as a way. Can the “spiritual” be cultivated? -

Why not just understand self/thought, or Learn about the concepts we already are caught in? Does one concept cancel out another? Or is understanding the concept maker/making work to end thise patterns of belief? -

Reading books, grasping for the ground of being?? Ah man, what happened to us? -

The Horror of Consciousness: The Denial of Reality Through Spiritual Belief? Reality is not a horror dog child. That is a belief in reinsurance to what is by clinging to thought. -

Introduce concepts? -
Jack River replied to Strikr's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Sure dude. Anything that involves measuring and comparing. Thought anticipates, judges, and assumes. -
Jack River replied to Strikr's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Yep. Or we place an image or a value on top of the what is. That image or value is of the past/thought. We recognize only what we alredy know from past. the “me” imposes it’s experience to make what is what it ends of being. No experiencer means no experience. The less we are caught in the illusion of “me” the less we project our values or images onto now. I have been doing this a lot. Like most of my free time is watching this projection. Which actually stops it. It’s crazy cool dude. Self/ego/thought/experience are really the same. Freaking awesome dude?
