Time/Space (subject/object activity—modulation) or form abstracts its existence from ?.. (one unitary indivisible totality). -

From the standpoint of being aware the connection is never not in tact. But from the place of subject/object division there appears to be this disconnect. Being overly fascinated with the objects of experience in reaction to the subjects likes and dislikes, bias-prejudices, resistance to what-is. Psychological movement towards the object. Seeing with the word which is born of the past-memory(time). When we see with the word, concept, image, and interpret that image and judge that image in accordance to our personal psychological preference, we feed this cycle of subject/object duality. Being limited to this subject/object duality, seeing with the veil of time is simply distracting us from our essence. -

It’s a question that has its root in duality. It assumes an ‘entity’ who is alive and will die. -

Consciousness is reality, and in the totality of ‘experiencing’ the apparent distinction between awareness and what arises and falls in awareness is one indivisible whole. -

Meditation can also be seen as the UNDERSTANDING/awareness of ‘becoming’ & habits. Becoming will manifest itself in adopting habits in order to end the habitual nature of mind. -

In this INSIGHT we can see the subject/object phenomenon as one unitary movement of thought/time and negate such movement where it has no place. A psychological freedom. Compete mutation of psyche. -

We tend to look to a specific form of knowledge to get unstuck instead of understanding the whole nature of knowledge and it’s relationship to this supposed self who is stuck. Understanding (to stand under) is not a verbal/intellectual understanding. The insight is whole in that with the understanding is a direct action that sees how knowledge is beneficial in some areas and not others. Usually we accumulate knowledge and try to apply that knowledge in a specific direction. We try and integrate that knowledge into our understanding and use it to act. But with insight into the whole of knowledge (UNDERSTANDING) the insight itself IS its own action. There is a huge difference in these two understandings. -

Knowledge and the subject/object relationship all work together and are intertwined. Its a good idea to have insight into how knowledge fits into that relationship and how it will be beneficial and not so much in certain domains. Understanding the nature of thought(subject/object phenomenon) helped me in seeing where knowledge has its place and where it absolutely does not. Then we also see how this subject/object phenomenon will act as a barrier to seeing what I am. -

For me meditation is choiceless awareness of the arising and passing sensations, perceptions & habitual thought/emotion (subject-object phenomenon). But it doesn’t end there...Meditation also includes to be aware as the totality of ‘experiencing’ (consciousness). Awareness doesn’t exclude, but includes the totality of itself. -

The effects of the subject/object split are definitely of service. Such effects as effort/control/conflict-suffering. These too are not distinct from consciousness itself. Consider it a tool to use in self observation.? -

Fosho I consider that intelligent action. Not acting In such dangerous situations can be a sign of reaction to attachment(resistance). Awareness brings about an increased equilibrium to emotional/thought activity. An undivided action that is harmonious & instantaneous without hesitation. -

When we see that every step we take is away from ourself we simply stop moving. This is in reference to control/effort/volition/will/becoming. For me insight into the whole of subject/object divison allowed for the freedom of non-action, which is paradoxically UNDIVIDED ACTION. -

I use to be depressed/anxious, stressed. That is simply a reaction to what-is. For me that all ended early on. When I saw that the subject was not distinct from the objects of experience. That allows for a deeper exploration into the nature of SELF. Freedom first then we can go beyond. The depression/anxiety/stress has its root in FEAR(isolation-effort). -

I was never personally attracted to non-duality. I was more attracted to understanding the phenomenon of duality. To understanding that of experience as it arises. -

The ego moves in the field of effort/control yes. For me there was a great clarity in self observation. Not getting caught up in what teachers think has really made my exploration swell. ? -

And it’s not a life long type of deal. I was a lost little doggy 6 months ago. I started out understanding the depths of Subject/object activity/phenomenon. I didn’t practice personally, I just simply self reflected. Observation of self which reveals (SELF). Meditation now is the constant and “states/experiences” arise and fall, until they don’t. -

The now is not in time, but time is in the now. -

Fosho. I and others refer to it as headlessness. For me it is always there and has never not been there. In the beginning we try and attain a sustained measure or period of time that we reside as awareness, but after a while it becomes evident that it’s the other way around. States, form, thought etc arises as an interval of activity. So it use to be that there were small intervals of timelessness, but now it is flipped. There are small intervals of time, and the constant is timelessness. It is inherent for all, but we don’t see that. -

Awareness contains(stands under) mind/body/world(objects). As what I meant to communicate by the hieroglyphics. ??? ? one totality. -

The foundation of experience is flipped the opposite way then it actually is in direct experiencing. -

@AakashIt was in reference to this post. We pursue awareness as if it is an object of experience in the background of experiencing. But awareness is in the foreground. It comes first. So to pursue “it” as an object makes for this needing to attain “it”
