  1. Great advice here. Same ? can’t forget a first kiss
  2. @xthebentnecklady her videos aren’t ment to provide the “solution” or “fix” to your problem of addiction but simply to get you to look at it from different angles so you are able to understand it at its root. From here you can easily overcome any addiction with the right amount of will Just started watching the episode and it’s packed with good insights about the psychology and behavior behind this addiction Seems to me you have a lot of self reflection and Emotional work that needs to be done. Maybe she isn’t the right “teacher” for you, doesn’t make her invaluable to others. All the best I can also see you’re reacting to her words instead of setting aside your own bias and beliefs simply to consider her perspective
  3. I did! And also listened to certain types of music to allow emotions to pass through had to let go of everything, today and yesterday are like night and day ?
  4. Awesome! Feel free to share whatever you find and check out her instagram or this journal!
  5. This was an excellent reminder, so easy to fall into these thought patterns and lose ourselves in the unconscious. @Mu_ Thanks this video came at a good time for me hearing alan watts is like noticing something new or gaining a deeper meaning in every time I reread a favorite book, which is not something i really do anymore (read)
  6. @arlin i dont think so... glad you are excited, i love seeing her posts on instagram and i have many to catch up on from the beginning so ill probably just post the ones i like here when i get to them. great short alan watts vid
  7. @zeroISinfinity ”it was just a dream, just a moment ago, I was up so high looking down at the sky, don’t let me fall...” ?
  8. exactly, but only as a tool for making the unconscious, conscious feel free to share your concerns here bud, i support holistic psychology @zeroISinfinity ?
  9. My ego type is the "Labeled Ego", what's yours? mind you this is simply a tool, not something to get attached to but to recognize how and why we think and feel the way we do, created through self reflection and therapy with others honestly I would like to see a thread dedicated to this sort of Instagram page for shadow work
  10. OKay im done playing Joker with you dude. This is simply a tool created through many years of therapy and self reflection to help us become aware of the ego. If you don't like it, toss it
  11. @Truth Addict who’s Cosmo? The only thing that takes ego seriously is ego ???
  12. Yup definitely the “realist” ego...? it’s not about categorizing personality types, it’s about letting go of the identity as having a specific personality type
  13. Have not. You are totally right in saying the labeling of ego types can be used as a tool to understand our behaviors and what we focused on and doesnt necessarily have to be attached to the idea "i am this", more like I exhibited these qualities the most while growing up
  14. Feeling committed to something greater than you does produce the momentum for discipline. Teamwork is very effective
  15. Description says to become conscious of the subconcisius, being fully present with the urges will allow you to break free from conditioning ?
  16. i think they seem pretty rational, simply the behavior is irrational. Her argument according to you, sounds like the morality argument for going vegan. This being said, hard to believe you she uses this argument to help someone overcome an addiction. It must have been the 'part' of the video that really stuck out to you or something
  17. Well i think i understand. Giving away the personal 'conceptual' life is not a doing/willing, thankfully
  18. @zeroISinfinity not bragging a bit, that’s your ego Love you man ?
  19. @zeroISinfinity You cannot know what you are because what you are is unknowable as no-thing... Thoughts, ego cannot know it therefore cannot abuse it, ego can only abuse ego you can run from your(self) but you can’t hide
  20. The devil only exists in the attachment/identification...this is why there's no way anyone can ever know who's enlightened and who isn't.... You wish to be wise? be spontaneous, be free, free in thinking and action...be the master of your game of chess
  21. @zeroISinfinity but dude, YOU are the simulator...
  22. I’ve noticed your need to be right relates to your addiction to truth ? Do you have trouble admitting when you’re wrong? Do you believe every word you say defines you in some form or fashion? Perhaps an attachment to thought/thoughts-self, observe yourself and you will know the intentions and reasons behind your righteousness many subconscious needs and beliefs you hold so it’s good to bring them to the surface through sitting with the feelings you experience during these instances when you need to be right (again maybe speaking outta my ass but take what you find helpful dude, and laugh at the dumb jokes if possible )
  23. Hehe ? I love to sleep when I’m tired and be tired when I sleep...
