Maybe they have interest in your identity because of your sincerity. Why choose to put any attention on the cult-like behavior? It seems to be present in any human structure -

@possibilities I like how you described differences and reality mate. We might be going off topic a bit What if reality is you, experiencing itself? Could any differences be seen without a seer? Could an objective world even be verifiable without a you here? I did not realize Truth addict claimed happiness does not exist...lol still do not see where be says such -

Love goes beyond all distinctions, therefore it can also be seen as being apart of all distinctions -
I heard sexual energy is and can be used as creative energy. Feeling sexual? Do something creative and fun. Find something to be curious about, learn something new, etc @Aeris What Michael says makes sense to me, however im only 29. Older we get, the desire for sex is probably going to decrease, however, this does not mean our desire for connection, energetically, will lessen IMO

A void is the feeling something is missing/lacking in your life (like a need or value). as most don't like to feel empty inside because they don't realize they are that emptiness, not the thoughts in their head which is the root of all addiction.

I really needed to reflect on this topic of boundaries

Excellent, thanks for sharing! -
Thanks for sharing, you’re not alone, and not the minority in having that inner pain, frustration and helplessness. Sharing this book recommendation credit to Mod Cetus I’m barely an hour into it but it takes you on a journey into yourself revealing why awareness is the one tool that makes any and everything possible breathe easy ?

@Zigzag Idiot appreciate the details, I would mostly agree! It’s amazing what that space can and will do, granting freedom to be completely without the emotions. There’s also using negative reactions to create boundaries or make some kind of point and no attachment to the expression is needed. Is the difference between a socio/psychopath and a saint “me”?

The last line is separate, related to the video. The point is we cannot know whether or not we will have a negative emotional reaction before it is happening. What the video is talking about is those who get caught in the imitation game of trying to be spiritual or a good person by only expressing their positive truths and not the negative ones. I would agree we do not always have to respond negatively Did you watch the video?

The absolute best synchronization workshop in Vancouver, I only watched the last 2 parts and it is just amazing, LOVED IT

This one is real for me, "prioritizing our own needs", be aware of the conditioning habits to automatically put our needs aside Lovely, intuitive movement is what my workouts are all about these days...

@John West listen to your body, don't play on injuries, tend to them and mend them, understand how and why they occur. A strong core, stabilizer muscles and gluts are probably the best ways to prevent injury. Definitely make a preworkout or morning routine to keep you muscles flexible, balanced, and activating efficiently Also try ice baths, they do wonders for muscle recovery and injury prevention. Just be aware if youre trying to build muscle, from what i remember, there's been studies showing ice baths may reduce the amount of muscle fiber development if taken right after an intense workout. Keep doing the research and prioritizing your temple (body) Cheers

I suppose it’s easy to get caught up in a belief that there is a right and a wrong way to live life or that there should/shouldn’t be one. In actuality there is simply The Path we take ? Are we muzzling ourselves? Do you allow yourself to express negative emotions?

So true...my father turned 60 some years back and he has taken his body’s aging with some bitterness about it, like he has a stick up his bum. It didn’t make much sense to me, at the time, as I thought, why can’t he accept that or even expect it? Not only does the deterioration of one’s health create more limitations, it creates more discouragement/limiting beliefs. Like oh damn I’m getting old, time to throw in the towel We all grow to learn life IS too short and the more time we spend denying, rejecting, or disowning it, the less satisfied we’ll be with it. It’s the sort of reality nobody wants to face, this is why there’s an aspect of life that is suffering. The sooner we realize the true value of suffering the less we’ll have to endure appreciate the reality check -
When life spirals out of control before your very eyes Yesterday was one of those days when it feels like everyone and everything had it in for me. "A real test" one might say. It literally was a series of unfortunate events, consisting of cranky, moody family members lashing out, dogs fighting, working in 110 degree heat, a broken lock, and finally, blowing an opportunity to ask a girl out, who i'd neglected to ask out several months ago. This was a tail spin that sent me out of control, emotionally and mentally I was completely aware, as i watched myself eat myself up, fed by the thought stories, the build up of hate, a need to escape, a need for isolation, filled with regret, anger, frustration, and self hate. This is what one might call a depressive episode of bipolar and is the result of taking life a little too seriously, not taking full responsibility for my experience and simply falling back asleep every moment. Recently i read 95% of our lives are lived unconscious, basically on autopilot. Here's a quote from Dr. Nicole LePera, holistic psychologist: "We have lost our ability to think because we spend almost 95% of our lives unconscious. So rather than think, we emotionally react. Over and over again, we continue to be chained to the past. We don’t know how to sit with emotions. If you want mental freedom, you need to learn how to think. Some of you are hearing your mental chatter and saying to yourself: I know how to think! I think all day long. And it’s true. We do. But we are thinking the same thoughts over and over again beyond our awareness. Beyond our control. Beyond choice. Conscious thought is something a person can do only when they’re present. Only when you practice awareness and working through triggers. Our parents don’t teach us this. Our school systems certainly don’t teach this. This is a skill one must teach themselves. We’ve been hearing messages about everything I mentioned from the time we came into the world. Part of healing is releasing those messages and <choosing> what we believe. Not what a professor tells us. Not what our parents believed. Not what a guru tells us is ‘the way.’ What we believe. There’s so much talk about how society holds us back. And I’m open to that discussion. But no one holds us back more than our own inability to think for ourselves" Reflect on my story and this message, share what you'd like, ill try to be open to anything, much love Below is where i got her quote from Instagram

@zeroISinfinity we mustn’t try to live in the absolute perspective, you can bring the absolute into your life to fullfil your needs because that’s what you’re doing here as Aleks, letting source consciousness experience itself through you to continue its expansion as the infinite -

@Truth Addict health is largely dependent on one’s system of beliefs... Bipolar or depression is a result of one’s inability to live a “healthy” life, this is true but it doesn’t mean they or ego is solely to blame. Not until they learn how and why they are creating their own shit so they can start taking responsibility my uncle is an ignorant case of someone stoping at their limiting beliefs as well as ignoring their physical health edit: if it’s simply tough love you’re bringing forth, much love ?? -
DrewNows replied to DrewNows's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Truth Addict this is very broad, but what you’re saying is not to accept anything less than what makes me happy, so if that means changing my living environment, habits, relationships, career path etc then these changes must be made? -
DrewNows replied to DrewNows's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Truth Addict what do you mean by health? Do you mean physical, mental or emotional, or perhaps all? It’s not what we have going for us but our ability to accept our current situation in order to make the best out of it, wouldn’t you agree? -

Yes you are totally right after my first awakening i learned how to suffer consciously, this led to ending an alcohol addiction But also there is trauma that can be triggered in certain situations, this is basically a reality check for the self which often triggers the fight or flight response, which is completely out of my control. Running is resistance = suffering in a sense, and after being aware of this behavior enough times, it can be stopped in it's tracks My friend, suffering is suffering no matter our life situation. I think i understand what you're getting at of course, thanks I have it good, we have it reallll fucking good and there's much to be grateful for...unfortunately when ive attached to a depressed state of mind then judge everything, it does not matter what the world is dealing with...because i am clinging for my own dear life
