  1. No idea but discipline is great for learning your full potential. The benefits can be whatever you want them to be. You see, anytime you masturbate or have the desire, ask yourself why. Maybe it’s because you are horny and need to release energy or maybe it has become a habit, an escape/distraction and you subtly feel there’s something lacking in your life. Personally, with a girlfriend there’s no interest in masturbation, but at the same time if I have found a really passionate goal to strive for and or found joy in productive activities then thought habits can be easily ignored
  2. @herghly what really matters is your desire and intention
  3. There’s only the devil that exists within you/me/us @Joseph Maynorof course Leo is the devil ? but this is only a limited view for he is Infinity, as are you if there was a goal it would be to see yourself in anyone and anything. Imagine how this might change your perception ?
  4. i was interested in what more @SOULhas to say about this video idea, concept, thought, language all just expressions dude, nothing insignificant but always limited
  5. i didnt say it wasnt based off experience, just that it is also influenced by beliefs, and im sorry but it is just an idea. I dont discredit or even disagree personally, but it's interesting to take her understandings in from a different perspective, like id assume SOUL was doing...
  6. Really @SOUL? Personally i think she's cute. She has an idea of transcendent being and what it looks like to her, even how it should be expressed and taught according to her interpretations. I like her powerful message but people will always favor teachers they are able to connect with and understand, or reflect what they are seeking
  7. To me he appears to be breaking down Joe's assuming judgement response to his post, which was quite impressive. These are the kind of things very challenging to see in ourselves(or should i say our persona), and the more stubborn or hard-nosed it is the less reluctant we are to want to change. I don't know Joseph's intent so i am not calling him out but this sort of call out seems warranted and is beneficial to anyone open Ive actually been working on some of these habits personally and in my relationship with others. It takes dedication to say the least Thanks Serotonin
  8. Wow thank you. Not even finished it yet and this has helped me understand some of the confusion I’ve been creating for myself ❤️
  9. Great answer thank you! No I am not sure really what I was thinking in asking this but I realize it’s something my mind tends to do (inward count) and sometimes this turns into a measurement I think it’s sort of funny, can the mind really know if it’s being authentic or not in the moment? I’d say heck no! But when I catch it start doing so, becoming self conscious, that’s the cue I’m trying to control things and this means, struggle, not trust I know it’s pretty much up to me, or within my power, to let life happen, to let go and be
  10. I understand what you meant my dude it just came off a bit insensitive in the context of what was wrote
  11. Not so compassionate of you ?
  12. ?❤️ @Psychonautwhy do you see substances as a means for motivation?
  13. Sorry my friend I wasn’t responding to your initial post but others who mentioned they didn’t feel motivated. I just recently tried this out. I used “drug” because I don’t see it as a bad term and think it does get too dogmatized in society. Like I said it has given me benefits of clarity and efficiency in my mind. The only problem I have is it’s purpose in keeping us awake despite maybe feeling tired. I’m usually a night owl but I can actually create a routine where I fall asleep at a good time anyways cheers man glad it’s giving you some support. At one point I was completely ready to give up the Identify i had made for myself (I didn’t want to live anymore), the suffering was just too much and this led to an awakening after stumbling onto the power of now
  14. I wasn’t aware Modafinil is supposed to motivate...but I suppose thinking more clearly and effectively can be a great boost to one’s productivity I’ve noticed using supplements as a crutch for doing the things we feel we need to do is mostly counter intuitive motivation needs to be addressed separately with/without drugs
  15. I have noticed how the mind can get turned off by the things it doesn’t understand, like a complicated school subject, or simply music in a foreign language
  16. @Joseph Maynornarcissism will lead to suffering and that may in turn lead to enlightenment as another form of superiority and self obsession. I think it really depends how honest one is willing to be with themselves as a false sense of being enlightened is also going to yield to more suffering. I also see how it’s good to notice what the mind is focused on in others, what is being compared/judged and created to be its truth what else can a narcissist do but love themselves to change the way they impact others and see themselves
  17. @AstralProjectioncan you also see how beliefs can become an obstacle toward realizing the truth? I feel the deeper we go in understanding ourselves the more open, loving and selfless we become. From an individuals perspective, ego and free will turn into a function (and is really just an interpretation) for the expansion of consciousness
  18. This has been an obstacle for me in the past and it’s dangerous often leading to nihilism or a lack of purpose to life when we unknowingly start adopting beliefs about beliefs and reality without being fully open to the infinitude of perspectives and all encompassing truth behind it all
  19. @Mu_Good message here for sure! Promotes a ton of growth. Simple sweet solid advice. How effective do you think tallying the amount of times per day/week one acts against/doesnt act in accordance with their hearts desires or authentically (often creating regrets or reinforcing conditioning patterns)
  20. i have done this too, not sure why but may be a subconscious anxiousness @Joseph Maynor I enjoy the value teal has to offer when she resonates and knowing whatever might be imperfect about her could not be any other way, i think she is perfect (however not always in my expectations)
  21. Observe your thoughts very carefully. You may come to realize they are creating all the meaning in your life, from the laziness and productivity to the anxiety and pleasure. This means there can be as much or as little meaning given to your life, dependent on the focus Try to simply start doing and use less interpreting (labeling), judging, assessing. Leave all that for practical planning and know the mind wants to control your situation, insure your success, and find any problem that might get in your way. The mind creates all of the delusion, even that which is you. Feel free to be playful with it and see if what you might usually label as productivity can be enjoyable
  22. Have you watched much of her stuff? Doesn’t really sound like you have but thanks I like those opinions. I could see sceptics looking for negative comments to swad their reasoning to trust or not but also there’s been that looming conspiracy against her, maybe she wants to take as much control as she possibly can to minimize info leading to that attention but anyways I find her content mostly helpful That’s strange but interesting. had to look it up
  23. @Truth Addictto me it looks like the @FoxFoxFoxis spot on if I understand right, this sounds like a disconnect as the observer of all the content going on meaning the mind may still be subtly focused on the awareness of everything, and why there are still expectations
