  1. Ha I like it and agree! Both fear and confidence are an interpretation and identification. Both created by the mind. They are actually one and the same. Why does one need to build confidence? Because there is the fear of failure or loss of self etc. instead of simply facing your fears, try to fully understand fear itself. How why and what is it, precisely.
  2. Awesome! Ignorance can be so easy to spot in others but we never stop and consider what that might mean for us Working through ignorance seems to be a continuous process of psychological growth and expansion in understanding the limits and boundaries we create for ourselves. It does takes vulnerability and humility and, first of all, acceptance of our own ignorance (unknown to us)
  3. @Key Elementscool this is an important aspect of relationship dynamics for maturing as a person. Are you able to look at your partner without any story of your history together? I've always struggled in my relationships with the opposite sex. I've never had a real close female friend or long serious relationship. In fact i usually end up pushing woman away if i begin to develop too strong of feelings. I am sure it has to do with my parents ugly divorce as a child. It caused me to always over invest emotionally with fear of being left or unworthy/not accepted. Personal development and enlightenment work together because they both require a deeper understanding of ourselves. We learn the most about ourselves in observation of our interactions, whether be complete stranger, mother or intimate partner. How do we project onto others, what are our true intentions/agenda (and are they hidden or do we make them clear), why do we get annoyed/triggered by others, or hold certain beliefs about strangers or even close ourselves off. It's a good way to understand subconscious beliefs/habits and learn how to see people for who they are and not who we think they are. Basically the journey to showing infinite unconditional love/compassion for ourselves and others whether or not we choose to communicate this is up to us and our agendas. Becoming totally authentic and feeling complete.
  4. There can be other solutions as Pluto explains. Besides daily mindfulness I actually use walks in nature, chores and physical activity (weight lifting/yoga moves) to go into high alertness and total absorption this is more than enough meditation and appears more productive if you ask me. Semi intense exercise good for mental cognition
  5. I like this list but would replace #5 with relationships/understanding ourselves through relationship
  6. It’s so simple it just might work “Instead of asking what do I want from life? A more powerful question is what does life want from me?” —eckhart tolle
  7. Does this also go for spiritual teachers/gurus we don't "resonate" with or happen to distrust/experience weird vibes from?
  8. @Serotoninluvhe does a lot of great talks all correlating with thoughts/emotions and his goal is to walk you through the experiences (and not simply take his word) so you can see how they all come together. If you don't particularly enjoy hearing him directly there's the audiobook teachings which i kind of prefer (second video) there's this: this audio book video is more all encompassing in the many aspects of thought/self which i'd recommend:
  9. yes it's pretty cool to investigate. Did you listen to any Jiddu Krishnamurti? Exploring thought-self is the name of his game haha
  10. Yes what is the relationship between thoughts and feeligns? It's something very wise to observe. Do you identify with thoughts? How does thought perpetuate feelings? Is thought any different than feelings, or do they both root back to yourself (the story of you)? What if the i-thought divides itself from emotion?
  11. @Joseph Maynorwhy dont you post a real teal swan video? ( i cant stand anyone putting my goddess in such light)
  12. Hey cool. Thank you yeah that’s interesting
  13. Maybe the best way to describe it as speaking from the mind instead of the heart
  14. Do you plan to teach premeditatively? I don’t really have a crush on Teal but I make it a habit to notice aspects of myself in everyone. If I can’t see myself in someone I can’t really connect (even those one my consider bad/negative/flawed) there was times when Leo used to trigger me back in the eckhart tolle days and in that time Alan Watts even became a turn off ?
  15. Hmm you gonna be the Ralston type or what?
  16. Didya watch her vids on those labels? She’s definitely overly self loving which is easily discerned as a narc and I’m not saying she isn’t but I see her as a very strong independent highly opinionated/emotionally intelligent woman LOA - she’ll be in my reality in the next Few months ?
  17. Simply curious what you see in my future spiritual queen goddess ? but you don’t have to share...
  18. meanwhile the dude in these videos is finding teachers/gurus (and followers) to call out for expressing views he believes to be offensive, dangerous and/or inaccurate. If he were really interested in understanding other peoples views he'd come here
  19. @Manjushri if you have a belief that you are never doing enough (fear of failure, not being good enough, etc) this could be why you feel this way. Address this belief. Ask yourself if it’s really true, then create another belief to change your mindset
  20. I don’t think doing what you love is going to be a waste of time. Wouldn’t be a bad idea to inquire what you love about it, and how it might become a problem but it definitely sounds like a good healthy hobby for your mind. Basically any activity can be turned into what you might consider a waste of time depending on how you look at it
  21. What you and I might think love is would be only an aspect of infinite love. Infinite love = unconditional love = consciousness = Self wouldnt you agree? Don’t think infinite love can be totally understood, not as an individual mind. Reread this beauty and tell me how you feel ?
